Sounds like Dana was calling Chris to call CRJR to see how everything was at home? Then CRJR called his dad back?
Scene #2 alsoWas only murder scene #1 covered during Suzanne Elliott questioning?
They already caught him in two lies. One the BCI investigator said it was highly unlikely anyone crawled through the window at Frankies given the tiny space without kicking over that trash can of feed or the tub of feed or tripping on electric wires or some kind of toy. AC tried to get the BCI Agent to admit it was possible on re direct but the agent wouldn't budge off that highly unlikely. She finally gave up on it.
The second is when he said Hannah turned her head to look at him but didn't recognize him before he killed her. The coroner said she was lying on her side maybe nursing and was shot twice in the back of the head. No way she was looking at him or she would have been shot in the face. AC tried to cover it by bringing up something about her head lying or falling back on a bar on the headboard of the bed after she was shot. The coroner admitted that could cause that white mark on the back of Hannahs head but would not commit or move off Hannah lying on her side and being shot in the back of the head or say her body was repositioned after death so the baby could nurse. So that means Jake lied about Hannah waking up, seeing him before he shot her, and repositioning her body so the baby could nurse.
Jake just said that to make himself look like a kind hearted cowboy in a Willie Nelson song who loves babies, warm puppies and girls of the night. He wanted to make it look like he was really just a good guy who loves babies and didn't want the baby to go hungry. I call BS because JM testified he heard little KR crying, probably from hunger.

Thank you for listing the upcoming evidence. I live west of Waverly, and it's fascinating to watch the trial. I'd add that it's not wrong to think that people choose to hide their identities for fear of retaliation. 'Hillbilly Mafia' is a thing. 'Justified' isn't just a tv show for many in southern Ohio.

I have it from the opening...let me go get the post.Hey Betty. Have we got the exact time for all of the murders? Like maybe 1145pm to 430 am or something?
Exactly. One thing to look at is why would he lie? In each of these lying makes no sense in order to help him, help his family, or hurt his family. When people commit crimes together and take a plea deal, it's usually to put more blame on another, reduce their sentence and make their involvement seem less than the other. In this case, he really had no "deal". He said he did it, he said he did 5 murders, he put himself at all 4 scenes with a gun in his own hand, told the motive, told how it was calculated and planned for months, then told how they covered it up. I don't know why he would lie about Hannah seeing him if she didn't. He also said she didn't recognize him. These are details that don't really matter in the big picture for his involvement. Also, how he entered one residence isn't really a big deal either. He admits to killing them so why lie about how they entered? He already took most all the blame and said George didn't kill anyone. By saying George didn't kill anyone, it doesn't get him off the hook for murder, because being involved before and being there that night, make him just as guilty as Jake. I don't see any benefit of him lying in order to get some better deal. I think if he's lied it was just to make a bigger story or for some personal reason he just enjoys making things up for ego or something. In this case it doesn't change the facts of them planning it out, all being there, killing 8 people, then covering it up.There's no evidence those were lies. Expert opinions can vary. It's also assumed that Hanna turned her head at the last minute to protect her child. Very likely what happened.
There's no legit reason for Jake to lie about these events. None of them dimish his complicity, nor do they reduce the complicity of his dad or brother.
That’s what I thought. Ty.CR Sr. called Robin Waddell.
