Sounds like Dana was calling Chris to call CRJR to see how everything was at home? Then CRJR called his dad back?

The last thing Frankie did on his phone was take a picture of his two sons...heartbreaking </3

They already caught him in two lies. One the BCI investigator said it was highly unlikely anyone crawled through the window at Frankies given the tiny space without kicking over that trash can of feed or the tub of feed or tripping on electric wires or some kind of toy. AC tried to get the BCI Agent to admit it was possible on re direct but the agent wouldn't budge off that highly unlikely. She finally gave up on it.

The second is when he said Hannah turned her head to look at him but didn't recognize him before he killed her. The coroner said she was lying on her side maybe nursing and was shot twice in the back of the head. No way she was looking at him or she would have been shot in the face. AC tried to cover it by bringing up something about her head lying or falling back on a bar on the headboard of the bed after she was shot. The coroner admitted that could cause that white mark on the back of Hannahs head but would not commit or move off Hannah lying on her side and being shot in the back of the head or say her body was repositioned after death so the baby could nurse. So that means Jake lied about Hannah waking up, seeing him before he shot her, and repositioning her body so the baby could nurse.

Jake just said that to make himself look like a kind hearted cowboy in a Willie Nelson song who loves babies, warm puppies and girls of the night. He wanted to make it look like he was really just a good guy who loves babies and didn't want the baby to go hungry. I call BS because JM testified he heard little KR crying, probably from hunger.

JMO

There's no evidence those were lies. Expert opinions can vary. It's also assumed that Hanna turned her head at the last minute to protect her child. Very likely what happened.

There's no legit reason for Jake to lie about these events. None of them dimish his complicity, nor do they reduce the complicity of his dad or brother.

Plus it wasn't like it was easy sighting in a darkish room

Thank you for listing the upcoming evidence. I live west of Waverly, and it's fascinating to watch the trial. I'd add that it's not wrong to think that people choose to hide their identities for fear of retaliation. 'Hillbilly Mafia' is a thing. 'Justified' isn't just a tv show for many in southern Ohio.

Thanks for verifying what many here have thought. I've no doubt the larger Wagner family still has influence in the area. For whatever reasons, some may have a vested interest in seeing GW4 set free.

Why didn't they go over the Wagner's phone records?

Sadly, Chris Sr was deceased shortly after Billy Wagner called him at 10:55 pm. IIRC, poor Dana's last texts (around 4 am) were to Chris Sr.

Hey Betty. Have we got the exact time for all of the murders? Like maybe 1145pm to 430 am or something?

Maybe you heard her talking about Frankie's calls to Chelsea Robinson. She was the mother of Frankie's older son. She had just dropped him off to spend the night with his dad. Not long before the murders, but long enough that everyone at Frankies had gone to sleep.

PIKE COUNTY TRIAL: Now on the stand - Julia Eveslage. She is a criminal intelligence analyst at BCI - that means she collects info on witnesses, persons of interests, victims and look at all kinds of data (phone records, etc.)

Julia.jpg

Eveslage says her unit at BCI was "all hands on deck" right after the Rhodens were killed. Was assigned full-time to it in early summer 2016.

Got victim phone records from AT&T - some immediately, but a subpoena came later. Looking at most frequently contacted

Eveslage says BCI only had three physical phones collected from crime scenes - Frankie Rhoden, Hannah Hazel Gilley, and Kenneth Rhoden.

Eveslage says they could not get records for Gary Rhoden - no active account.

Chris Sr had two phones.

Eveslage personally analyzed Hanna Rhoden's phone.

Starting phone analysis testimony with Chris Rhoden Sr's phones - they were not recovered.

Highlighted on the screen - two outgoing calls to Billy Wagner on the night of 4/21/2016

Chris Sr.jpg

Eveslage points out the the last outgoing calls from both of Chris Sr's phones were to Billy Wagner between 10:52 and 10:55 p.m.

His last outgoing text is to his estranged wife Dana int hat timeframe too.

Now Eveslage moves on to Dana Rhoden's phone records.

Notes her portion of records is later - because she worked late that night. All are to Chris Sr and Chris Jr.

Last outgoing text is to Chris Sr at 3:32 - last incoming text is 1127 p.m. from Jr.

Now Eveslage shows Hanna Rhoden's records - actually taken off the phone.

Texts her cousin Kendra 915-945. also texts Jake Wagner that night & a call from him at 935.

Also texts her boyfriend Corey Holdren.

Eveslage points out the outgoing call to Jake had a 0 second duration and may have been a misdial.

Last activity are two texts to her boyfriend Corey at about 10pm

Moving to Chris Jr's phone.

Lots of texts to and from mom Dana starting around 915pm

Last contact is two outgoing texts to Dana around 11:27 p.m.

Frankie Rhoden's records - recovered phone from crime scene.

Starting around 9 p.m., texts & calls to Chelsea Robinson - coordinating child care.

909 - calls between him & Hannah Hazel. Also a text exchange w/ mom Dana.

Last: 945 call to Chelsea

ast activity on the phone (based on data extracted from it) was a photo of Brentley and Ruger Rhoden (Frankie's kids) - taken at 10:59 pm.

Hannah Hazel's phone records show a call with Frankie, some texts with her sister Meranda.

Last activity is a text to Meranda at 12:59 a.m.

Kenneth Rhoden's phone also collected.

Includes a call to his son Luke at 9:09 p.m. and then texts to his ex-wife Stacey Rigsby.

Last contact was a text to her at 9:41 p.m.

What about the missing phones?

Eveslage says she tried to use location data to find them. Nothing was helpful.

Eveslage says without phones, they often cannot see content of texts, etc. Providers don't keep it.

This was the case for these missing phones - AT&T was provider.

Lunch break now.

No that's a different Robin, the one who owns Big Bear Lake where CRSR was doing construction work.

Exactly. One thing to look at is why would he lie? In each of these lying makes no sense in order to help him, help his family, or hurt his family. When people commit crimes together and take a plea deal, it's usually to put more blame on another, reduce their sentence and make their involvement seem less than the other. In this case, he really had no "deal". He said he did it, he said he did 5 murders, he put himself at all 4 scenes with a gun in his own hand, told the motive, told how it was calculated and planned for months, then told how they covered it up. I don't know why he would lie about Hannah seeing him if she didn't. He also said she didn't recognize him. These are details that don't really matter in the big picture for his involvement. Also, how he entered one residence isn't really a big deal either. He admits to killing them so why lie about how they entered? He already took most all the blame and said George didn't kill anyone. By saying George didn't kill anyone, it doesn't get him off the hook for murder, because being involved before and being there that night, make him just as guilty as Jake. I don't see any benefit of him lying in order to get some better deal. I think if he's lied it was just to make a bigger story or for some personal reason he just enjoys making things up for ego or something. In this case it doesn't change the facts of them planning it out, all being there, killing 8 people, then covering it up.

So all that to say even if the defense proves he lied about how he entered one of the houses or how Hannah looked or didn't look when he shot her, it doesn't change the facts that he killed them, he lead LE to the guns, the guns match the bullets recovered.
