Phone Billy claimed he destroyed when trying to contact Chris after he died actually stopped working right after Billy had Chris Sr call his cell phone because Billy lost it. That was when Chris was killed.

Am I hearing this right? Some of this has to do with a phone that various members of the Wagners were using in relation to the murders? Maybe a burner phone? Something was going on with a particular phone that made them focus on the Wags.

The point is to show Billy lied in that interview. He never turned his phone over to BCI and he said it was because he destroyed it because he was trying to call Chris even after the homicides and it got upset and broke it or something to that effect. He was lying so he had a reason to not turn the phone over.
