It was a great spending a few days with you guys, I learned so much. Alas, family duties call me out of state again but hopefully things will be a little less hectic this trip & I can check in more.

Big thanks to all & have a great weekend.

EDLs are required to fly domestically, or else you need to present a passport. I believe most states are providing the edl licenses automatically. The state of ohio does, unless you renew from out of state, as I've recently discovered.

We have an "attic" type space in the garage not in the house (it's empty). Everything is stored in the basement though.

No doubt packed full of stuff long forgotten. Go look tomorrow, let us know.

Maybe brass catcher or silencer did not fit or work? Maybe just showing they had the .303 too?

I don't know why they included those casings. The 303 British is an old design that's remained in service, but it's a bolt action rifle, so a lot slower to repeat fire compared to a semiautomatic. Would be probably my last choice out of all those guns ... well except for the Cricket.

It began production in 1889 and was probably used in WWI.

I'm pretty sure it would not have been done unless it was necessary. Moo.
I agree! These were all documented as being collected on May 12th 2017. When Angela takes the stand to testify about various things she was up to and the paper trail that was collected that day backs it up, it's more believable. When Jake says they used xyz, they signed xyz, they did xyz and they have items that support that already introduced, it's better and will ring a bell for the jurors and connected dots.

If we hear they say they did xyz, but no evidence of that was found, then how believable is it?

I have to go do mine this month and I've lived in OH for 30 yrs. Have to take my passport, mail with my name and address on it, etc. W/O a passport, you have to bring a birth certificate and, if your name changed, your marriage license.

So Angela was really buying 3 pairs of shoes at WalMart and changed her mind? Hmm

LOL! Bulvine spelling confirmed

Angela's gmail password was "bulvinesophia" according to note found in George's truck

Sorry, couldn’t resist.
And their nicknames are “Vine” for Bulvine and “Suds” for Sophia.

Normal everyday things take on a different meaning when a crime is involved. If I go to Wal-Mart today and buy bleach and a Rubbermaid container, it means I'm cleaning and organizing. But if my husband goes missing, it means I killed, disposed of his body, and cleaned up afterwords. Moo.

Have followed some tragic cases here where LE found that and used it in court to help get convictions. They often use video they get from Walmart where perps are seen buying shovels, bleach, plastic tarps, etc. The murder of Nicole Lovell is one I recall.

BCI and PCSD were grabbing every scrap of evidence they could find to build this case. To paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld "You build a criminal case with the evidence you have, not with the evidence you wish you had". They didn't start looking closely until almost a year later, so its amazing that they were able to find as much as they did. Thank goodness they quickly locked the victims' Facebook accounts. They got lucky with AW being a pack rat.

Not clear on the Passports.
If it was not necessary to present passports to enter Canada to travel to Alaska, ( it was,,or it was not?) is it possible that the W’s had a back up plan to flee to Mexico? Or another country?
where were they planning to live in Ohio since they had either burnt down or sold all their trailers, farms, etc?,
I doubt it was with FW? At least not for any length of time, maybe a temporary stay.
They lived in the house Angela inherited from her dad in South Webster. No one knows how often Billy was there, maybe he moved back to FWF? He worked for FWF I gather since he was arrested taking a FWF horse to the vet.

The Wagners settled in South Webster, population 860, about six months ago, said Pirul Patel, the owner of the local Sunoco station. For all appearances, their life was normal. Regularly, Patel said, they came to her store for gasoline, Subway sandwiches, and cigarettes.

When she learned about the arrests from Wednesday morning’s local newspaper, Patel said she was shocked.

“That scared me because I see them all the time,” she said. “I can’t believe that would happen.”

Oh I missed that! Was that said or did they have footage of her carrying 3? I have wondered if they just didn't have Billy's size. His foot seems very large.. maybe 12 or 13. Would be hard to squeeze a 13 in an 11 shoe. Might be what helps them prove George was wearing a pair.

Is the EDL in OH the same thing as Real ID in Indiana?

I may be totally wrong about edls. I was thinking id real when i responded. I dont know if id real and edl are one and the same.

Question to all the knowledgeable ammo people.

That box of shell casings found packed up in a bin box, wrapped sealed with black duck tape that was removed from one of the W's trailers during the search...those casings all had round and slightly off-centered indentations in them. Does that mean they'd already been fired? So they were spent casings? As in W's put a half dozen or so (the casings box, styrofoam insert with individual round holes for each casing, was not full) used casings back in their box to keep? After been shot can casings be reused with the damage (indentations) done by a previous firing pin still on it?
Rimfire (.22) cannot be reloaded/reused.
Sometimes (most of the time) a cartridge case will be deformed by the extractor and/or the ejector.

Possibly they did consider using the 303 British, but the bullet casings wouldn't show if a silencer was used when they were fired.

Good point though, has me wondering what the 303 means.
303 means .303 caliber. About the same as .30 caliber or 7.62mm. The 303 British is a full size rifle round roughly the same size as the SKS but with less space for powder, thus more powerful. The 303 would be hard to silence.

Hi Twall,

Yes, it is.

Ohio's Real ID

Ohio driver licenses and identification (ID) cards issued prior to July 2, 2018, will not be accepted by the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) after October 1, 2021. Consider renewing early if you want to have a driver license or identification card that is federally compliant.

DHS Extends REAL ID Full Enforcement Deadline

Please note, the United States Department of Homeland Security has extended the REAL ID full enforcement deadline from October 1, 2021 to May 3, 2023.

I think this defense is p@ssed he is stuck with this case that he knows he can’t win Very rude to witness…slamming pages marking random papers as if someone didn’t do their job and were probably of no interest. He was throwing a little fit and then asked about shoe receipt and asked if two shoes had been purchased. The witness tried to say 3 but in her face he said 2 and then said no further questions.
Hi rescuemom, I agree. The witness handled herself with great dignity and grace while this jerk showed he is a fool.
I hope that the jury saw how he opened the rubbermaid (p*ssed me off) container in her face, compared to AC who opened the rubbermaid container away from the witness' face. Key word here "away from her face." IMO

I meant as far as it's evidentiary value.
