These bills/months were before they moved to Alaska. I don't believe he even met his wife until he moved there and went to the church? Anyone recall for sure?

I am just laughing at this grown man of nearly 50 having his mommy pay his bills.

Yes, bills from 2016/2017. I couldn't make out a lot of Angie's handwriting in her notebook of bills.

What I did notice is there appeared to be Life Ins payments for AW, JW and George, none for Billy.

I want to try to look at that again and try to decipher AW's "bookkeeping method". I suspect some of them might have been running (cumulative) balances every month. Others were marked with a check number or the notation paid.

I missed the ins. for AW. I was kinda wondering if she and G3 had any. Not that they have to have, but, if only those three have it, I wonder if it's been something they've had for years, or for several months, prior to the murders.

I haven't read anything about who might be up next, but I did see a general statement that Fredricka Wagner and Angela's mom would be on the stand before Jake and Angela and Jake and Angela were expected to testify week 4 or so. That was last week so being a bit behind, I am assuming this week at some point we will see FW and Angela's mom.. her name is slipping my memory.

Last they did was detail the search warrants from May 2017. So if going in order, maybe next would be something about what they did during the year they were in Alaska and then them stopping them at the Montana border and interviewing them separately. That might be this week too?

*Trial continues (Day 20) (@ 9am ET) - OH - Pike County 8 people dead: Christopher Rhoden, Sr. (40), his ex-wife, Dana Manley Rhoden (37), their three children, Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden (20), Christopher Jr. (16), Hanna Mae (19); Frankie's fiancée, Hannah Hazel Gilley (20), Christopher Rhoden Sr.'s brother, Kenneth Rhoden (44), & a cousin, Gary Rhoden (37). Hanna Rhoden's baby girl (5 days old), another baby (6 mos.) & a young child (3) were unharmed. (April 21-22, 2016, Pebbles) – for *George Washington Wagner IV (27/now 31) (Jakes’ bro) indicted (11/12/18), arrested (11/13/18), charged (11/15/18) & arraigned (11/28/18) with 8 counts aggravated murder, (plus gun specifications on each), 1 count of 1st degree conspiracy, 4 counts of 1st degree aggravated burglary, 1 count of 5th degree unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, 3 counts of 3rd degree evidence tampering, 1 count of 5th degree forgery, 1 count of 5th degree unauthorized use of computer or telecommunications, 1 count of 4th degree interception of wire, oral or electronic communication, 1 count of 5th degree obstructing justice, & 1 count of 1st degree engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek the DP. Per Jake’s plea agreement, DP is off the table if his testimony is truthful.
Trial began on 8/29/22 with final jury selection & the jury was seated on 8/30/22. 12 Jurors & 6 alternates. Jury: (9 women & 3 men) & 6 alternates: (5 women & 1 man). 9/30/22: Ill juror replaced with alternate. 12 jurors & 5 alternates. Jury: (9 women & 3 men) & 5 alternates (4 women & 1 man).
Trial began with opening statements began on Monday, 9/12/22. (Trial is scheduled for 30 days).

The problem I see is Jake cannot confess for his family, only for himself.

If what you say carried weight then a man who gets busted for murder can always confess to the crime and say his ex wife who he hates was part of it, even if she wasn't. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law does not allow for someone to be sent to jail on another persons confession I would think.

It's ultimately the jury's decision of course. What I was wondering is if JW's confession is a stipulation of sorts and holds any sort of judiciary weigh to rate a instruct the jury on? Or does the judge instruct the jury to give NO lawful weight/consideration (nothing extra) to a confession that has sentenced a man to prison under the laws of Ohio state?

Camera was zoomed in on seven boxes and two large bags of evidence awaiting today's court session.

Jury is not present.

Defense opens with objection to the state intending to introduce firearms not directly involved with the murders.

State argues the firearms to be introduced because they are on the list of guns from the phone evidence. The guns and list together show that these are guns the Wagners owned, not guns they wanted to buy, stated by Rob Junk..

Guns and shell casing evidence is to prove Wagners test fired the weapons.

Two of the guns in today's evidence were used in the murders.

Defense argues there's no proof guns on the list are the guns they have in evidence.

BCI agent Jon Jenkins returned to the stand - he went to another Walmart on the day of the search to match the SKU numbers from the receipt. Were for that same style matching the crime scene size 10.5 and 11, also matching the size. We're done for today.

Sep 12, 2022 — Angela Wagner pleaded guilty to the murders, or helping plan the crimes, and Canepa told the jury both she and Jake will testify against George.

There have been no witness lists released, but Canepa said the case will be rolled out in chronological order.

Canepa argues the wiretap evidence to be introduced later will tie GW4 to the weapons.

Judge overrules based on previous overrule "in limine".
