He was asking very specific questions about what spots on the farm BCI was searching. He knew of locations where they didn't want BCI to search.
He can take the stand and be cross examined if he wants to explain those statements.
Jmo Angela was asking George and George would ask Jake and then George relayed to Angela. From what I heard so far is nothing but still listening.

Very interesting. Didn't know that.
The latter was in a comment from AC a few comments back. AC argued that George's remark about BCI planting evidence at Peterson Rd would have to be treated as evidence. Defense would have to introduce it, then have him testify. Bringing out new facts related to the murders and investigation has to be dealt with.

I'm guessing George was making these assumptions based on rumors or his own opinions. Seeing photos and video of BCI searching the farm probably freaked them out.

Anyone notice Jake and GW4 have similar voices? Their voices on the recordings sound higher than I thought they would be.

Except, to quote Judge Deering, when they have to play 55 minutes of road noise.

They also can't play conversations in which the Wagners make accusations and false claims about the state, its evidence, etc. Then it would have to be introduced as evidence and the person making the claim has to take the stand.

I wasn't clear. I was talking about the ones played for the judge today after the jury was released.

Yes, I think that was on one of the tapes played after the jury left. George was going on about the search and accused BCI of planting evidence. AC was arguing why that part can't be played before the jury yet.

I noticed the bci agent mentioned t0¢i× again, referring to the laptop confiscated. Is it possible someone had used it to post and confuse opinions on that form, also ? I realize, especially AW used the press and other sites in attempt to convince the public they were innocent
AW trying to smear LM is horrifying!

George's face doesn't seem to match his voice, for sure.

It was this anger that lead to 8 innocent lives murdered in cold blood. The Rhoden and Gilley family's have suffered immeasurably at the hands of the W4, over custody of a child and any benefits they could collect from the gov.

Just adding the Manley families to your list of suffering. I hope it is alright.

Very interesting. Didn't know that.

Accusing the Manley's of murder for insurance money takes the cake. Interesting dinner conversation for the Manley's tonight.

You were right about the Wagner's giving BCI tips against the Manley's. You mentioned that possibility a few times in earlier threads if I remember correctly.
Interesting conversation at dinner for sure. I think it will only confirm their believes that the Ws were involved from the outset. I only wish LM was still alive to hear it in court. I feel the Manley's were victimized on multiple fronts.

A lot of emotions are tied up in this case. Just because I look at it differently doesn't mean I do not want justice. However, the way I view it is through the legal system, and try take the heart and emotion out of the picture (Difficult at times).

Trials are very interesting because you get to see our legal system at play and how a jury, interprets the law and evidence presented. Just as different people interpret the intricacies of the Constitution, or the Bible, differently or the wording of important legal rights on ballots (example: The vote NO for Yes on the KY ballot this fall to support the rights of women to obtain certain medical procedures. Most definitely a tactic to confuse, but legal).

A plea is a win. So AC has two wins under her belt, as long as JW and AW testify as they have agreed to do so. That's a nice addition to her resume/Linked In/etc... Prosecutors love pleas.

Y'all may dislike the defense, but if someday the need for a defense atty. arises, if it were me, I'd want a very zealous and dedicated one. I happen to have attys in my family (in criminal defense & prosecution). I, unfortunately, did not follow in their footsteps, as much as the law fascinates me. At the end of the day, if the government cannot prove their case, the criminal justice system is designed to find that defendant not guilty. It's not personal, it's about the laws in place.

This is all on the prosecution, the evidence that they are able to present, and what the judge deems admissible, to convince all of the jurors in this trial that there is no other reasonable explanation that can come from the evidence, than GW4 is guilty. I'm not sure if they have to find him guilty on all counts, or not. I've not seen that or have forgotten.

I think 4 made those statements to get in front of any evidence LE would find on the property. JMO

It seemed logical when LE just kept going after the Manleys over and over.
People were coming on here at WS and accusing BJM of killing them "to get money". Now we know where that accusation came from.

George called Randa Hughes and told her to tell Chris Newcomb not to cooperate with BCI. And then George calls Chris to tell him the same thing twice - and not to talk about anything George may have bought or sold.

GW4's own words speak volumes IMO!!

Tip: For future audio, I resolved the only lh side of my headphones working, by switching my settings under Windows/System/ Sound to Mono.

Had some unexpected issues come up and am just catching up with today's wire tap audio.

They do not have to find him guilty on all counts, they will consider all 22 counts. But not sure how he could be found guilty of murder conspiracy but then not be found guilty of murder so it's up to the judge to explain all this to the jury.

Count 9 Conspiracy

Absolutely!! The Manley's were still being victimized long after the murders.

Angela said BCI got a Warrant to search their property and gave it to them. If new owners say they weren't given Warrants then it must be the Warrant was extended or taken out for an indefinite period of time.

One way or the other evidence can't be used that is found in private home property searches without Warrants. To search a person's property without a Warrant is like not reading a person their Miranda rights. Has to be done in the legal way.
I remember during one of the text conversations between I think Jake and Angela Jake talked about calling the new owners and he told Jake the LE laid the search warrants out on their kitchen table. I tried to find it but I can't. It was up on one of the screens I am pretty sure it was with Agent Julia Eveselage but I could be wrong MOO

At that point, I would have told Jake and his family exactly what they wanted to hear, too.

not sure if this question has been answered or not, but here it goes

I know Jake and Angela were given the option to opt out of audio and video when testifying, and, have heard people say that yes, they have opted out, but have not seen anything concrete as to what some are saying. anyone know for sure and are there any articles or news reports that state that?
I find it likely they'll at least opt out of video but it has not been set in stone and won't be until the day they are called to witness stand.

Here is the Alaska house AW and GW are discussing.
That's a long way down coming out that door...talking about watch out for that first step, it's a doozie!
