I found the timing of the text message here. The prosecution believes the plan to murder Hannah started in Dec 2015 after Angela hacked and found a message between Hannah and Tabatha's mother in Dec. 2015
Did one of the text messages that was read from HR told JW told him and his family to stop snooping on her page!

“Ummm you know..your honor. You know ummmm” yes we know, WE ALL KNOW. “Your honor, my client is never mentioned in any of this testimony or messages.”
I’m cracking. I need a break and I have the ability to fast forward I can’t imagine what it’s like to be trapped in that room.

I may have been reading too much into her text but I thought she said something to the effect of "and you all can sit around & watch your movie".

Gave me a chill - whether or not she meant Boondock Saints. Stopped me cold.

I thought I heard that too. While these texts were long before the murders happened, they're very relevant showing how that family worked, their twisted belief systems and their absolute lack of respect for the lives of the women who bore their children/grandchildren. It was a family cult and this kind of evidence is essential to showing how they did things.

The Wagners really did take a systematic "cookie cutter" approach in how they dealt with finding wives/partners, getting them under control, having children, then disposing of the wives if they didn't want to bear more children or refused to follow their strict rules.

Jake has confessed to the murders of multiple people, to include HR. I'm not understanding why take an entire afternoon going over text messages between JW and HR. Maybe I missed it but I dont know where this is leading. JMO
I have been able to listen today and the only thing I picked up related to George was what sounded like HR not wanting her child around George. Is the state going to circle back to this, or were these messages simply included because of the foundation surrounding her and Jakes relationship?

Side Note: agree 100% that HR was wise beyond her years. It felt to me she could sense he was a danger long ago. She was steadfast in protecting both Sophie and herself.

Stop Stalking it

He slapped her for cursing!!!! Chris should've wore him out! I bet he and Frankie didn't know! So sad she was one to get away from a abusive relationship and try to make something of herself by going to school and working. Some girls just stay and be abused. This is so heart breaking! And he tells her to read her bible? I have never read in the bible that it is ok to kill someone because you want your way! He needs major help!

Yep. It was brief but Hannah took us through the family getting rid of Tabitha. Jake asked for incriminating photos of T (smoking mj). Hannah asked if they were going to do the same to her.

Side note: Anyone who didn't hear how these texts relate to GW should go back & listen again.

I agree! George is all over in all of the testimony we have heard. It isn't as direct and clear as seeing Jake's words threatening Hannah, but George is in there. Another movement for me was the audio Jake was recording of dropping off and picking up Sophia. One of those had George asking Sophia something like "don't they give you a bath?".

Gurl!!! I caught that too.

And it's like Joe mentioned yesterday in a post, they were all hyper paranoid about child molestation or paedophilia. I can't even begin to count how many comments sprinkled in here and there all lead to paedophilia. Nearly every conversation.

According to Angela Canepa, the texts were necessary to show the systematic way the Wagner family dealt with the wives/partners of Jake and GW4. When they pressured the women, forcing them to leave, they all worked together as a unit to help get rid of the former partner and take control of the child or children.

The family works as a unit on these matters. Just as Jake helped GW4 abuse, threaten and chase Tabitha away, GW4 would do the same for Jake. The texts showed how the violence, psychological abuse, etc. came to involve threats to Hanna that were similar to the threats made to Tabitha. False claims of not taking care of the child properly or that someone is molesting the child. Trying to make the mother look unfit, neglectful. Demanding that the child live "with the family", etc. Also "you're not loyal to my family, you treat my mother/father/brother badly". Physical punishment if family is disprespected (Hanna getting slapped around).

It's a family cult, it really is. All for One and One for All

ETA: All the state needs to prove is that GW4 was part of the family conspiracy to murder the Rhodens and Hanna Gilley for him to be convicted of Aggravated Murder. They've pretty much done that already.

The other evidence is placing George at the scene of the crime and will be validated when Jake testifies. George's gun was used in the murders and used in the testing of the home made suppressor. That confirms Aggravated Burglary, which also makes him guilty of Aggravated Murder

I do agree Betty, it is a pattern with that family. I know we saw text of BW asking AW to come back to him and make the boys live on their own. But in my opinion JW & GW learned that behavior from their dad that the women submit or you beat them down and then you throw in AW crazy obsessions and it is like a stick of dynamite with that family. HR had the maturity to stand up for herself and the baby, plus she had her family to back her. It is just heartbreaking.

I, for once, appreciated Mr. Nash on cross today. It was very short but he didn’t crowd Ms. Eveslage and didn’t have the usual condescending, “not buying what you’re saying” tone. Fingers crossed for the future.

Yes, I agree. <Modsnip- no link> Then add in AW's obsession with "owning" her grandchildren, taking total control of them, completely removing their mothers from the children.

Yes, I agree. Those boys learned some of that behavior from Billy. Then add in AW's obsession with "owning" her grandchildren, taking total control of them, completely removing their mothers from the children.
It is like they thought of the girls as nothing more than a brood mare.

I agree the essence of a cult is there with the shared ideology. I am not sure if that word has been used in front of the jury. Do you recall if it has?

IMO Jake helping George, or likely AW, get photos etc. on Tabby is still a decent step removed from George helping one with murder. I feel it could take greater evidence at the scenes or deeper evidence showing George's level of commitment to the cult or conspiracy.

I believe in my gut he is guilty, but I feel like what has been presented is still a bit murky as it relates to his involvement or commitment to the other W's in committing the murders. I anxiously await Canepa's BAM moment.

ETA: The BAM may come together in her closing.

It is outside the norm for sure.

Yes, so true. They used them and then disposed of them. Tabitha proved easier to remove from her child. She had no financial resources to fight their false accusations in court. She only had her mother to back her up, which wasn't enough.

OTOH, Hanna had Chris Sr stepping in to protect her from the Wagners very early in the relationship. In the texts today, Jake was always concerned and critical of Chris Sr. He complained about Chris Sr standing up to them. I felt bad for CR1 and Dana when Jake, Angela and the rest of the family waged that bullying effort to force Hanna to move into the Wagner's house to let the baby live there. Jake mentioned Chris trying to stop them from making her do that, but I'm guessing the Wagners made some kind of threats to make Chris Sr back down and Hanna give in. She really, really didn't want to move in there. Once she got out, she never went back.

Technically speaking, they don't have to demonstrate his commitment to following the family rules. There's already evidence to show he was part of the conspiracy - planning, strategizing, buying supplies, etc. Ballistics show his gun was used at Chris Sr's murder. Shoe prints show he was there and Jake's testimony will confirm it.

Angela Canepa (and at the time, AG DeWine) felt it was also important to highlight the cult like existence of the family that caused them to plan, commit and cover up the murders themselves, as a unit.

And at 1:16 in...As usual I'm behind but; The pill bottle. The label says GW; GWJr, G3 or G4? Trazadone:

Trazodone is used to treat depression. Trazodone is in a class of medications called serotonin modulators. It works by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.

Trazodone is also sometimes used to treat insomnia and schizophrenia (a mental illness that causes disturbed or unusual thinking, loss of interest in life, and strong or inappropriate emotions); anxiety (excessive worry). Trazodone is also sometimes used to control abnormal, uncontrollable movements that may be experienced as side effects of other medications and for the management of alcohol dependence. Talk to your doctor about the possible risks of using this medication for your condition.
-------

Now there's a 1/2 buried semi trailer and G3 is s Doomsday Planner. I'm reading forward now. Wow. I'm not surprised, actually.

I think when we hear George and Jake talking in the big rig interceptions it will be clear. If George is mentioning any of what they have already presented, that will be pretty damning. How would he know about any of it unless he helped, was there, or was told and all of those things lead to the conspiracy.
