BUT JWs ex Beth is the "BAM" so far. And she's not intimidated ar all by the condescending attorney. Asking G4 to physically stand up so she could see his size didn't phase her.

Said at one point when asked about Christianity, said JW knew nothing about it. BAM

The point she knew marriage was over.. When she heard them planning to murder her. BAM

She's a good witness. Seems honest, calm, educated, SOLID. Attorney is quite an a$$. MOO

How is the defense allowed to discuss lists that aren't entered into evidence?

She's not just a survivor, she's an overcomer.

Her pausing is a result of speech therapy from a brain injury/trauma. Listen to when she says the word "almost." The "l" is a long pronunciation.

Bless her. It's not like she didn't already have enough on her plate.

She's doing great, she has matured quite a bit since she made the video about marrying Jake, emotionally & physically; her posture exudes more confidence and her hair cut is adorbs on her. Reminds me of T Swift. She's quite a bit different from previous witnesses in W-4 life, isn't she? Very articulate. This is a young woman who has faced some serious struggles, and faced those struggles mostly on her own. Wherever she is now, I hope she's found real love, happiness and her struggles are behind her.

Well in JW's case, he confessed willingly to cold-blooded and literally single-handed murder of 5 human beings. IMO, there's veracity in that.

In AW's case, we shall see what and how she describes her own actions in all this.

how can there be any veracity when every single other time pre the proffer he lied to every law enforcement person who he spoke to, he did a deal for his testimony it wasn't given freely, he sold it to the state to remove the DP, from him and his family,

he has not willingly confessed to anything, I am sure once the piles upon piles of evidence started to be handed over to his defense attorneys, they would have IMO said JW we can never win this case, and after being in jail for a very long time and considering his options IMO, he created a version of events that the state would accept,

he would still be lying now if he genuinely thought IMO he had a chance,

Whether Beth knew the most dangerous time in a relationship is when one leaves the other, she did everything perfectly to secure her safety. And to have been rejected by that pastor AND and LE in Alaska, she continued on with her gut instincts and in house conversations take much courage.

well, his defense is JW killed all 8, and GW wasn't there, he had to be somewhere according to the defense so maybe they will argue he was out looking for a prostitute,

Wouldn't they need to introduce that into evidence first? He is just making statements about things that were not asked in the direct testimony.

Back for afternoon session with Elizabeth Armer - Jake Wagner's ex-wife. Prosecution asks her to identify George Wagner. Next up to cross.

Defense lawyer John Parker handling cross - points out that George only came to the church in Alaska once or twice.

Parker has brought up her videos she put up about Christianity, as well as her apparent brain damage - but doesn't get into how it happened.

Armer says she can't tell whether George and Jake meant what they said when they were angry - not for her to interpret it.

Parker also tries to get Armer to say she's happy in the picture - but she just says people smile in pictures.

Armer says when Jake threatened to kill her as well as his extended family would do it that the marriage wouldn't work out.

Parker asks about why she didn't want to talk to defense lawyers - she says "the Wagners terrify me. ... would you want to talk to people who terrify you?"

She says she was escaping from Jake, George Angela and Billy - not just Angela.

Now bringing up interview with BCI - do you think Jake was just blowing off steam when talking about punching Mike DeWine in the nose? says it was just a bluff at the time - she says she remembers that interview. Cross examination is done.

On re-direct now: When moved to Missouri, everyone was going to buy a farm. @local12
There was talk that there would be two residences at the time. George came back from dropping off Billy. And then everyone traveled back together.

Is it fair to say that you were doing anything you could to get out of there? Yes it is Armer says. None of the Wagners ever admitted to anything to do with the homicides. @local12
