Scheiderer left Wagners on July 6, 2018. He was there at Walmart when Beth left the family - there to monitor and see what took place that day.

Family went into the store then split up. Detective lost contact. Scheiderer drove to side - saw car with out of state plates. Woman changing her hair. Followed them, appeared they were trying to elude. Stopped at rest stop, they id Bethann and then stopped following.

No cross exam. We're done for the day. No trial next Thursday.

The Wagners seriously misjudged this young woman and her father's courage in rescuing her, given the death threats. And really, they misjudged Tabitha and Hanna, too.

You deserve a raise. Or a big vacation. You go far beyond to keep us updated on court dates and tweets. You are a star. But seriously..... Don't burn your dinner or stay up too late for us chickens here. We can manage when you are too busy or tired. Thank you! Sleep well

I do give Parker a thumbs up for not invading Beth's space. But, he didnt get anywhere with her. Powerful witness for the prosecution and it removed any lingering doubt i had as to guilt or innocence. 4 may have had a smirk over the prostitute comment but he wont be smirking when the verdict is read. Imo

EW should be in the witness protection program. I worry for her safety.

Her pausing is a result of speech therapy from a brain injury/trauma. Listen to when she says the word "almost." The "l" is a long pronunciation.
was it ever revealed how she sustained brain injury/trauma

Not fan of CN anymore. Rita's name sure came up alot. Imo.
CN reminded me of Billy in that he's a big talker who talks big. I am instantly repelled by that personality type. Even so, I do think CN spoke from his heart whenever he spoke of GW.

Beth's testimony was powerful evidence. She didn't give them even an inch. I think the defense just helped the prosecution with his little comments.. I bet that is why AC didn't object. The one about not allowing them to know where she lives.. If I was on that jury, I'd be thinking it's no wonder she doesn't want them to know.. good grief. Defense just hammered in how afraid she was.

I am more inclined to say if the jury believes all the other witnesses before Jake and Angela, then what they have to say won't really change anything. The jury just needs to believe George had any part in it big or small, if they believe that, then he's guilty even if Jake and Angela both lie.

Tabatha's testimony was powerful for speaking to how intertwined he was with his family. He would not leave them to live with her and their son.

Beth's testimony was powerful speaking to this family discussing and deciding things together. George being just as involved in these discusses and fights, etc.

Nothing shown yet shows George in any way trying to move out, buy a house alone, get a job alone, remove himself from the finances of his mother's control, move his son out of the house, etc.

It hit home... I got the BAM I was looking for. Purple ribbons for HR, Tabby, and Beth

Her testimony was powerful!
It was clear that her fear of this family included Angela, Jake, George, and Billy.

I had hoped the state would follow up on redirect regarding "it was one of the reasons I was scared of George". Even without it, I feel it still came through loud and clear.

Hearing her testimony, and then slipping Agent RS on stand to validate her escape story as he was literally there was powerful IMO.

I had a tear in my eye as I imagined Beth slip that hat over her head and drive away.

I feel today was very powerful.

If only Hannah and her family would have been so lucky. :(

No. All she said was it was non-traumatic brain damage.

Stroke was my first thought because my sister just had a major one. But I looked it up: A non-traumatic brain injury occurs because of disease, the presence of toxins, or a lack of oxygen to the brain. Some of the specific ways in which someone can end up with brain damage include:
  • Infectious disease
  • Cancer
  • Tumor
  • Stroke
  • Near drowning
  • Poisoning

I didn't hear anything specific, but it was in 2020. She said not an injury and it was after COVID began so she was not hospitalized, but drs said it was safer for her to recover at home. So at least after March of 2020.

I wonder if she had COVID at some point?

how can there be any veracity when every single other time pre the proffer he lied to every law enforcement person who he spoke to, he did a deal for his testimony it wasn't given freely, he sold it to the state to remove the DP, from him and his family,

he has not willingly confessed to anything, I am sure once the piles upon piles of evidence started to be handed over to his defense attorneys, they would have IMO said JW we can never win this case, and after being in jail for a very long time and considering his options IMO, he created a version of events that the state would accept,

he would still be lying now if he genuinely thought IMO he had a chance,
Because that's what probably 95%, IMO, of guilty people do when first confronted with the fact that they've been involved in something illegal...more specifically felonious crimes.

He did confess in open court freely and with much querying by the judge to make sure he understood beforehand the consequences of doing so. He was given more that a few chances to declare otherwise. He did not.

All the reasons he did so, I'm supposing, will more than likely be asked of him when he takes the stand. To me it really matters not the why as long as he confessed after much thought and consideration...which it appears is the case. AJMO

She stated it was Covid-19 related.

Whether Beth knew the most dangerous time in a relationship is when one leaves the other, she did everything perfectly to secure her safety. And to have been rejected by that pastor AND and LE in Alaska, she continued on with her gut instincts and in house conversations take much courage.
She's an intelligent woman. I'm glad her dad was someone she could count on.

I hold a completely different viewpoint, if somebodies' testimony has been bought then I don't think they are telling the truth, they are telling a version of the truth, IMO. I can quite easily see AW doing some of the murders the longer this trial has gone on, or even BW not even being there, thus far a month in nobody has been placed at the scene by the evidence, not even GW

and if I am expected to solely take JW word on who did what at the crime scenes then for me the state will not have proven their case,

who knows how much longer the state's case will be before we get to JW and AW,
