I keep thinking surely someone in her family - brother, SIL, her mom, etc. could afford to even go to Goodwill and buy her a decent dress or sweater/slacks. She's worn the prison drabs through every hearing.
shes trying to look like the victim. classic narcicist 101. im still enraged this piece of human garbage is allowed a deal, a release date and apparently the right to privacy. the deal is bad enough, but she should have to sit in the hot seat so the whole world can hear what this psycopath did. as earlier posters have said- jail is not enough. people can still have lives in jail still have social contact make friends. look at aw with her nails done makes me want to vomit. i cannot understand why they gave her this deal. she has zero credibility is not going to add anything that jake didnt. unless she has a video of the crime i dont see what else is to be gained. angela having a release date in prison shows just how easy it is to be evil these days with the criminal system coddling all the misunderstood serial killers like this lump of steaming cow pie.

COURT IN RECESS IN OH v. #GeorgeWagnerIV - Still on direct. Angela said she was just told to buy things by Billy: bug detector, cell phone jammer so people couldn't call 911 and shoes. She said she was not told to buy anything else.

Angela Wagner said she prepared the custody documents for Bulvine and Sophia in case George and Jake were killed that night. Bulvine and Sophia would go to her so they could stay together.

Angela said she and Jake ordered the items for the homicides because "we were better at the computer." Billy got upset when Jake bought a home surveillnace system. Said it was stupid and to take it down so people didn't see them coming and going

Angela: Green Dodge truck that was not diesel purchased for the homicides from Uncle Toddy (Silas). (It was actually a black GMC Sierra.

The night of the murders, Billy Jake and George left. Angela said she was emotional. She thought about driving really fast to stop it but then she'd have to leave the kids and she needed to protect Sophia. Lots of emotions

Angela said she didn't know the plan or how many people would be killed. The next day, after daylight, the 3 came home and Billy said "Everything is fine. I took care of it.”

The news started breaking in to report on the murders. Angela said she said to Billy "why so many?" She said he responded, "Because they were there."

More later.

Exactly. Additionally, that is why there is so much crime nowadays. The system is broken.

I agree with everything you said except the value of her testimony. It ALL began with Angela. Listening to her tell how she planted every evil seed in her son's & husband's minds; sitting on that stand, self-righteously victim blaming and seemingly totally unaware of all the damage her lies have caused makes me furious. Whether the murders were her idea or not, whether she was there or not, whether she fired a shot not; it started with her, this is all her fault - and every single time she shames & blames the victims (and there are many), the jury is hearing it. That's valuable.

More about Angela Wagner's plea deal:

Angela Wagner, Jake and George's mother and Billy's wife, pleaded guilty in September 2021 to charges of:

  • conspiracy
  • aggravated burglary
  • tampering with evidence
  • forgery
  • unauthorized use of property
  • unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance.
In exchange for her guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to drop eight charges of aggravated murder and recommended 30 years in prison with no chance of early release. Like Jake's, her plea deal stipulates she will have to testify in the trials of her family members.

She has not yet officially been sentenced.

A his mother left and, after jurors were escorted out, #georgewagnerIV appeared to bite his lower lip and wipe his face. It was the most emotion he has shown during the trial. More on his mother's testimony to come.

I am still curious why in her introduction of the Rhoden victims in Capena's opening statement the picture of Chris Jr stated that he was a freshman at Piketon High School -suspended multiple times. That and he had refused to go to school for the remainder of the week (4/20 - 4/21) after Dana took away his car keys because he wasn't allowed to drive. That wasn't thrown in there for no reason. 39.05 minutes in this recording

I believe the prosecution has the best intentions in negotiating these plea deals. Their first priority was obtaining justice for the victims, but it was also to help the surviving family members, too.

I think they structured the original deal in a way that would encourage all 4 Wagners to agree to a plea deal and spare the family 4 consecutive trials stretching over 4 or 5 more years. They gave AW a different deal because she wasn't there and because having her and Jake testify might apply enough pressure on the other two to come to the table.

JMO, once GW4's attorneys talked him into going to trial, it made it extremely difficult for Billy's attorneys convince him to go with a plea agreement. So now, we're stuck. Hopefully, GW4 will cave or be found guilty, providing incentive for Billy to work with the prosecution.

Either way its still a win for the surviving families and the public. We've avoided 2 trials. AW and JW will never leave prison alive. (AW, possibly, but unlikely).

Again, with AW, Billy appears to be very involved in the planning, murders and cover up. JMO, both AW and JW are downplaying GW4's involvement.

Maybe he misses her words of advice, or the back scratches/nightly talks, maybe even the meetings at the kitchen table, or maybe, more so than anything - he's wishing they could have voted on who should take a plea and who shouldn't?!

Can't wait til Nash or Parker get to her. She could be "comfortable" with the state questions, she's heard them before. Yep, she's quite the witness, like she had no part in it. This is disassociated-something or other. What a charmer!!! Bet she has a boyfriend already, cause she has to have that personal connection to someone.

Every single issue with her sons and likely Billy also started with her.

She accused Tabatha of poisoning them.
She accused Beth of food poisoning them
She accused Beth of touching the kids
She accused Frankie of being affectionate
She claims Sophia is molested because her privates are red and she is putting things in there?

Unreal how her influence lead to this. They sure did do their part, but her nagging to fix this issue is what lead to the plan to murder them.

:(

Also, can I just say I have kids that are all teenagers and up now, but when they were little kissing on the lips was VERY common. I remember trying to get a cheek kiss and often they would search for my lips to kiss them. They mimic what they see and what do they usually see? Daddy and mommy kissing on the lips. I even remember laughing and joking about it because I found it so cute that until they were older, it was normal to them and so very innocent. The claim that Frankie kissed her on the lips is somehow inductive of abuse is just pathetic.

What Angela's testimony does is rule out George claiming he was home with the kids that night because his own mother is saying he was involved. I think it's easier for a jury to think a brother would make false claims on George than it is for a jury to think his mother is also now lying and making claims he was involved if he wasn't. Yes, she got a great deal for what she did, but it wouldn't benefit her to lie if he wasn't involved. It would be worse for her to lie than if Jake lied.. she actually might see the outside of prison with her deal and lying could remove that deal. I think while her version is often something made up in her head, it's the version that lead to the crimes they committed. We don't like it because she is evil.. but I actually think this might be what she told herself to justify it all.. she likely really believed something was happening to Sophia.

I never listened to it but I didn't have to to know publishing a couple of minutes of JW's first day of testimony 3-4 days after the fact had zero journalistic value. He published it to spit in the judges face.

At the time, I felt like the judge would have it investigated to rule out anyone who works for the county, who was inside the courtroom that day. (I'm not saying it was someone who works in the courtroom, only that the judge would want to confirm was not). I seriously doubt the judge expects Myers to give up his source but Myers broke the order by publishing it. Again, there was no journalistic value to publishing that clip. Myers intentionally defied the order and now he's throwing up the First Amendment as his defense. Scum.
I agree. I have never seen a situation like Ohio has about opting out etc, but I don't see anything unconstitutional about it. Its not like the trial is held in secret. This guy is just using this trial to get his own name out there. There are a lot of victims of this horrific crime and this guy is just trying to take advantage of it. I am sure his attorney fees are being covered by advocacy groups, so there is no skin off his nose.

If anybody had any doubts prior to AW's testimony about George's involvement, I wonder if they have now changed their minds??

ETA: I should probably add, IF we are to believe AW and JW.
AW's testimony is actually far more damaging so far than JW's.
