Well I am not one to question people and their faith, but I see zero evidence they actually believe ANY of what they say they do, but the church in Alaska was evangelical.. I believe Baptist. Definitely not Mormon.

Bad temper and no respect for women can and do co-exist with a belief in a religion. For example, back in the old days, in my own church, women were told to return to husbands who battered them.

Now, George is yelling at Jake saying Jake has been proven time and time again to be a liar.

George is yelling at Jake because he feels his son's safety is at risk due to Jake's wife. Their mother suspects she is abusing Jake's daughter, and George doesn't want her around his son.

I can barely understand George he screams so loud at his brother.

I really am starting to wonder about who shot who. It doesn't matter as far as the law and guilt vs innocence, but boy I do wonder. We see snippets of who George really is and it isn't lining up with the image that the defense is trying to create. I think George was more selective of who he let in, he was guarded and seems quiet and keeping to himself, but was that because he didn't trust anyone? He thinks Jake will blab. He in the opposite and so reserved because letting anyone get close could be their undoing? He seems just as angry and just as filled with rage over this accusation that Beth did something. He won't let it go, where Jake is more relaxed and rational saying he doesn't believe it.

Something is off with that night and some say Jake is laying and George just wasn't there, maybe it was Angela or just Billy and Jake. I think it's easy to hate Jake because so much as been shown of him and his questionable behaviors. But, every time we hear something from George I think wow that doesn't fit with the emotionless person we see in court. All the testimony has been Jake and Angela.. some Billy too, but we question where is George so maybe he wasn't there. Then we hear George basically claiming Beth is doing something and Jake is allowing it. He is over the top angry and yelling about it. So was he also over the top and angry about the possibility his one time friend Frankie Rhoden was doing something to Sophia? Was he angry that Chris Sr was going to help give money to Hannah to get a lawyer and was he also just so angry about this because Hannah was talking to Tabatha and her mother? Maybe they'd get the idea they could also go to court and get custody of Vine?

I second all of this. And I wonder if George trusted Jake enough not to be physically present in CR's house during the murders. Could that simmering anger just sit outside and wait?

Definitely. They havent gone away either. Some are incarcerated but not all. I really hope BW pleads out so the family and community doesnt have to endure another episode of this madness. Are you guessing next week for closing and then given to the jury? Of course, thats after 3 days of arguing about jury instructions from the judge

But the judge gave a no contact order between co defendants and it was brought up in court fairly early that they were caught. But for some reason BCI and Canepa never mentioned whether they listened to the calls or what the content of them were. So why don't they play the recordings of the calls for the jury?

Apparently they were not very good at it. The prosecution doesn't have to play what they don't want to play. They are in it to win it.

Agree they certainly don’t live as people with a healthy respect for religion or faith.

It’s pretty methy behaviours, paranoia, fits of rage, secret plans to murder people.. even looking at the boys, there are pics of Jake where he has picked sores on his face..
Could A have been possibly using it to control them? She doesn’t look like a user but maybe J and G were, to be able to drive trucks etc.?
