These calls show a small piece of what George and Jake endured. Wow, Angela is even more evil and messed up than I thought. It's like every single thing anyone does or says is blown up into arguments and confusion. He actually sounds like the normal one here trying to help his wife and to talk sense into his mother. She twists it all and manipulates the situation by saying she believes Sophia. Unreal that she so badly wants to have control that she tries to convince Jake he is not listening to his daughter and putting her first. Now she's trying to convince Jake that his wife talks bad about him while he's gone. ugh You can see the way she starts to manipulate things when he won't believe her, then she gets defensive and goes on to further try to throw awful things at him to get him to believe her.

In other words she doesn't care she helped destroy Fred's family and probably is glad she hurt FWF's 40 year reputation. Interesting point.

Maybe she doesn't care and only cares about what she said, not seeing her kids and grandkids and too bad for Fred who made her muck stalls and took Billy in leaving her alone. Well alone without a husband, supporting him with his trust fund, bet she didn't get one.

So Beth confided in Angela and tells her she didn't realize the abuse she endured was abuse.

Angela's response- that must mean she would abuse Vine because she didn't know the other abuse was wrong?

Then the kicker she says she should go down to the police station and tell them if she was abused. Why doesn't she do that??

WOW so why the heck didn't they go to the police over Sophia being abused if they really believed she was? Seems she is so eager for Beth to go on down there if she was abused. Why didn't the Wagner's go on down there and report the abuse they suspected on Sophia?

This conversation could've put her over the edge. She's full of hate. I REALLY wonder where she got this from; this seems to be learned behavior. JMO

Gets to point where Angela upset over Jake's daughter knowing she wasn't her mother but her grandmother and that she would believe Beth over her. Jake "you are not her mother you are her grandmother" Angela "you're calling your daughter a liar”

Eveslage says June 7 was key date because Wagners were going to file that Tabitha abandoned George's son after a year. Next call is Jake and Angela again about kids and Beth.

Angela: "I don't care what you do with your life ... " - Jake says Angela told him to either believe Beth or his daughter and "kick is wife to the curb" A is upset that Jake called when Angela was putting kids to bed. Beth told him so Angela says "I don't like snoopers”

Angela - "she is going to get me a life sentence" referring to Beth. Jake says Angela needs to take her hormone medicine.

"There is something wrong with you Mom" - Angela says Jake's daughter is crying because "she believes Beth over you ... I believe (daughter) and will do anything to protect her"

Angela says if Jake and Beth move out with daughter "I won't get a lick of sleep because I know (daughter) will be in danger”

BTW - after Beth says she feels like she is living in Nazi Germany - Jake asks "where's that?”

Jake keeps saying "I love you Mom but ... " and keeps saying Angela has problems or needs medicine. Angela keeps saying that abuse will keep happening again and again if he keeps believing Beth.

Jake: "Quit having a breakdown over it. It's not a big deal ... what you need is you need to go back to church." Angela says she won't let George's son alone with Beth either

Now talking about why Beth never filed charges against her brothers over her abuse. Angela "If she doesn't do anything, she's expecting it"

Jake says she is afraid what would happen if charges won't stick. Angela "what do you care. you already put us in danger ... we're locked into this."

Jake: "the people of Ohio they don't even know what she looks like" referring to Beth. Angela "I've got to go forget about it forget about all of it”

This was before BCI had renewed "investigative activities" to spark conversations. Those last two were back to back phone calls.

Next one is recording from Jake and George in truck about Beth and the kids. There will be road noise and some recording devices were better in truck than others

Wow this is worse than I thought. I think at this point GW JW and BW need to be somewhere they can get help from all the years of this from first FW then Aw and AW needs to slowly and painfully put out of existance. These boys would have been ok if not for her. This is going to get GW off. Imagine living with that everyday even while they are at work.

Billy was no prize. IIRC, there was domestic violence in that relationship. Habitual criminal, thief, liar. He wasn't raised in a good home.
