Never thought I'd say it, but Jake sounds like the only rational one in all the tapes we've heard during this trial.

George is ranting and raging in nearly every one of them. Yelling at Vine, ranting to his mother about BCI, now all this nonsense agreeing with his mother about Beth and Jake not putting Sophia first. Lord, how is Jake the normal one here?

Also, how many times did he tell his mother I love you in that last clip and she didn't say it back, not one time.

Billy was no prize. IIRC, there was domestic violence in that relationship. Habitual criminal, thief, liar. He wasn't raised in a good home.

I heard there is a taped conversation of Angela and Billy that was played in court where they were talking about getting back together if their boys would move out.

Do you know where I could go to listen to this? Or is there something written of what they said?

I have no clue how to find it. I remember it being discussed on the thread.

It was early on in the trial and in a text. I’ll take a look around. These phone calls are hurting my heart, I could use the distraction.

IT was text messages before the murders! It was definitely before either Jake or Angela took the stand. I feel like maybe the 3rd week after all the scenes and autopsy evidence was presented they got into the evidence on the computer. Looks like they are going to break so I'll hunt it down. It was during these texts Billy says he has an idea and he'd tell her in person.

This tape is pure yelling and shouting between Jake and George. It is difficult to understand their words. The jurors have typed transcripts which are taken away by bailiff after each audio is played. Jurors can take notes, I suspect jurors must be frantically writing down what they are reading from transcripts.

Pretty sure it was texts between Billy and AW. He wanted the guys to move out so he could move back in with her. We assumed that was one of the reasons AW kept the kids and grandkids around - to keep Billy away.

Go back to the hearing where they were going over a lot of Wagner family text messages. Been a few weeks ago.

She sounds just like Billy only he sounded goofy while she sounded crazed. Yet notice that phrase was always used to preface a lie.

Next one is recording from Jake and George in truck about Beth and the kids. There will be road noise and some recording devices were better in truck than others

George screaming at Jake over believing Beth over his daughter. Calls him an anti-gay epithet. He also calls Beth a ... they scream at each other about what God would want. George accuses Jake of putting his daughter "on the back burner”

Jake says "would I want her to have (daughter) while I'm in jail ... no. ... She hasn't been around long enough to know how I want it done. But I sure as trust her”

George asks "if we all go to the electric chair, would you want Beth to tell (daughter) about it?" That's it for the recording and we're breaking for lunch until 1.

You going out of your way to hunt it down is a very nice thing to do and I appreciate it very much. I enjoy all your posts. You have very interesting insight into things going on in the Case.

I think it was in texts, so during one of Agent Eveslage's testimonies.

I remember because of the text where AW tells BW they could get a motel room and bring GW4's son, and "it might be fun." BW was staying at FWF and AW was trying to get him to come back.

@Cool Cats It was on day 21 of the trial. If you can find the video, that is when the texts were shown. It was 3 months before the murders and it was when Billy had an idea.

It was a little unexpected coming from George, since he seemed to be less religious than Jake. I've had the impression he and Billy are more alike. Same hot temper, no respect for women, etc.
