I am beginning to wonder if Jake takes the place of George in Jake's story. Seems to me George is the most angry of them all. Hearing these recordings leaves no doubt in my mind that George would have the anger in him needed to carry out this crime, plan it, participate, cover it up. I am now questioning weather he may be the one shooting them all.. all the ones Jake claims to kill. Makes sense to me he might be fuzzy on things and not recall things if he wasn't the one shooting them. I just don't think any scenario can be ruled out here. George is such an angry hot head.. just really scary how angry he is that he can rant and scream for 45 minutes staight. He can threated BCI and talk about how he'd like to be executed. It's so far beyond him going along to protect Jake.

I see a big brother that thinks his little brother isn't good enough and tells him by screaming at him.

These recordings just leave me even more sad for the victims, but also for both Jake and George. They are a product of the mother we have heard ranting on and on filling them with lies. Now we hear an older brother continuing on to scream and berate his younger brother all over lies.

There is just a serious lack of any reality in their lives.

Agree they certainly don’t live as people with a healthy respect for religion or faith.

That implies to me that caffeine might be code for something?
It’s pretty methy behaviours, paranoia, fits of rage, secret plans to murder people.. even looking at the boys, there are pics of Jake where he has picked sores on his face..
Could A have been possibly using it to control them? She doesn’t look like a user but maybe J and G were, to be able to drive trucks etc.?

Judge Deering reads instruction to attorneys that he will give to the jury regarding transcripts for recordings. He will tell them the are aids and not evidence and transcripts will not go back to jury room.

Now in OH v. #GeorgeWagnerIV, state is asking again to allow jury to hear a recording where GW4 makes threats against BCI agent Ryan Scheiderer. Prosecutor Rob Junk quoting case law on how that could show "consciousness of guilt”.

Junk says GW4 said something to the effect of "he's going to have a bad F*&king day" and something about his brain coming out of his eye. Junk says it's a threat. Judge Deering called it a rant yesterday.

Deering "this is the one with the racist comments in it?" Canepa says she believes so. Deering says he's not going to play that. Junk says GW4 threatens to rape Scheiderer, saying "I'll bend him over" and then other things and "black" is mentioned once.

Deering again calls it a rant. There is some mention of Jake and GW4 mentioning they know Scheiderer is listening. Junk said the Wagners were googling where Scheiderer lived and measures had to be taken.

Deering says he's not going to reopen this. "Let's bring the jury in." He seems annoyed that things have been delayed.

Jake telling Angela she is "delusional" and "off the deep end" after she says something about him taking things off of his truck and selling them. Angela tells him he won't talk to her that way. She tells Jake "you've done enough damage.”

The theme prosecutors are showing: George was designated as a protector of Jake. Also, innocent people don't say things like "Don't talk on your phones." George is involved in some of these convos which prosecutors will say show he was part of the conspiracy

June 14, 2018 - Jake calls R&L Carriers (his and GW4's employer) and says "I gotta a family emergency at home." The manager says they need his partner to work. He says that's my brother. "it's a family emergency for both of us.”

The "family emergency" was after BCI Agent Ryan Scheiderer sent a photo to GW4 showing Jake's hand holding the Colt 1911 .22 along with silencer parts

GW4 now going over the list of guns on Jake's phone that was last modified in 2015. Jake testified about this. George calls it on the wiretaps with Jake "a wish list." Says it several times. Jake testified it was an inventory

OH v. #GeorgeWagnerIV : Angela and George discuss the photo of Jake's hand holding the 1911 .22 that BCI Agent Scheiderer sent to GW4. Beth saw it and said that's Jake's hand. George "she's full of crap!" Angela hopes they don't call Beth to the stand

This is the photo. Beth Anne/Elizabeth testified that she saw the photo and remarked that that was Jake's hand. The others said "no, it's not."

For brothers that are close, Jake and George Wagner yell at each other A LOT.

This is very, very difficult to hear. I hear George yelling at Jake, possibly the word "", GW4 saying something about not seeing his son again, etc. I need the transcripts the jurors are able to read as aids

Lots of concern from GW4 about Beth Anne going to the library. Angela Wagner had expressed concern about her going to the library, too, and what she was doing there. Jake said she was filling out job applications online

George to Jake about Beth Anne: You married into the wrong crowd! Jake: She doesn't have a crowd. (GW4 and Angela Wagner did not like her and wanted her gone)

All of this talk about Beth in the truck must be to show the Wagners had a pattern with young women. Odd, since it seems they wanted Hanna May to come back but didn't want Tabi or Beth Anne around (except for JW with Beth Anne)

George Wagner IV just said the quote about getting into trouble because of Jake's honesty.

Next call is 45 minutes long and will be the last one of the day. The defense will have a witness tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., followed by more prosecution recordings.

This one is inside the truck and really hard to hear. You can hear George yelling about "living with that crazy woman" "I won't have my son in danger every day" - presumably referring to Beth Anne.

Now, just jumping off your post - this is why the post I made, I believe earlier this week or last week, IMO said so much in regards to how this so-called, soft-spoken AW on the stand was so fake and deceiving, as we and the jurors had previously heard AW in the recording at the Montana border. So, I am soooo glad that the jurors are getting to hear more of just how IMO, AW is not only obviously mentally unstable, but also so very controlling and wanting to be in charge of everything and the games she played that involved 2 young childrens' lives. It's sad enough the damage IMO she had done and continued to do with her 2 sons, who obviously at this point were adults and at some point should've done a lot of things differently IMO, but AW seemed to instigate a lot of problems/issues and was always stirring the pot! Yet, she gets her sweet deal of 30 years! And, just to be clear - I do not care that she may very well be 78 or so years old before she is released, she still gets to carry on knowing she will someday get out! Sickening, truly.

I think Billy was just checked out at this point. They are back in Ohio and he's back at FWF with his mommy. He didn't talk on phones and knew how to not get caught. So I think either they have nothing or they are not using it until his trial.

I don't think the state was able to, or tried to get wiretaps at FWF, not at that time.

This. I see the whole sex abuse paranoia as shorthand for "allowing anyone else into our very tiny circle." Not the kids' mothers or their maternal relatives or school teachers or anyone else. What George is worried about is that she's an outside and can turn on the real family.

There is a LOT of overkill involved in these murders, especially CR, Dana, and Hannah Hazel. Somebody was really angry or more than one person was really angry.

They wanted Hanna "back" because Jake going to court would have some 'splainin' to do about impregnating a minor. Note that he was charged with "unlawful sexual conduct with a minor" in the same indictment as the murders.

BBM- My opinion on this is if you didn't participate, you wouldn't call Jake going to BCI as "ratting you out", you'd say something like you'd go to BCI and say I was involved.

These recordings IMO sure do seem to paint the picture that GW was involved, this seems re-enforced by statements made out of his OWN mouth - no one else's.

And, prior to these recordings, I will admit, that I was almost 100% convinced that maybe GW did NOT shoot anyone; however, I was convinced he was guilty (and do still feel he is guilty). But now, after these recordings, I am thinking now that GW may very well been involved in shooting and/or killing some of the 8 victims. And IF he didn't, then why didn't he come forward, take a plea, etc., especially after hearing out of his own mouth telling JW that he was afraid JW was going to rat them out!

Like the old saying, if it walks like a duck.......

I think George was very much about keeping everything inside the family - lifestyle, decisions, loyalty, etc. He seemed to be the one least likely to go to LE when he saw his family planning to murder the Rhodens.

ETA: I hope Ms Geneva Rhoden and the rest of the family and friends are doing ok while they go through these terrible times in court.

I'm always so impressed with how they go to court and follow every word, waiting patiently for justice. They have my enduring respect and admiration.
