This call between Angela and George about legal strategy and why investigators/prosecutors are going after Angela's mom. George says they all need their own lawyers if they get charged. Says they need a witness because they don't have enough evidence.

Angela says Randa is talking too much, and her mom will be drug in "because of all the things she said to them."

When George says they need a witness because they don't have enough evidence it could mean he knows they killed all the witnesses. If he was ignorant of what his family did, how would he even know anything about witnesses. Just sounds like he knows they were careful about not being seen or telling anyone.

Just sounds like it to me.

Plus, how would he know they don't have enough evidence if he wasn't involved and knew nothing. At the very least it shows his family told him everything, but I think he knows because he was involved in the whole thing.

George and Angela call - context is George talks about moving. He wants them all to move somewhere peaceful where he and Jake can make a living get away from the noise. Angela says if anyone moves in with them, they need to understand the kids - and infers Beth didn’t

Next is from bugs from truck: George and Jake talk about Winter Soldier facemask. (Jake bought one on Amazon for George).

George says "Why is it still in the bag then? Them sons of can go to hell" - Jake says he ordered it. It was one of the items BCI had confronted them with.

Next call is phone conversation between George and Angela about bug detector in August 2018. Apparently BCI is asking about it - Angela says that's as dumb as asking about your tattoo. "Why not talk about stuff with your dad?" George complaining they saying he ordered it

Billy asking Jake about the picture of the gun in Jake's hand. Billy wants a copy of it - says it's important they need to get it to him ASAP.

Next call is Angela and Billy talking about something she sent him soon after the previous call. Appears he hasn't gotten the picture yet - not directly referenced.

Last call was from George to Angela saying he found a property where they all could live.

Next call between George and Angela over legal representation in July 2018. Angela says the two brothers need to meet with lawyer and Billy. He says the best lawyer needs to be hers no matter what she or his grandmother says.

I find it odd they'd never discussed "How or who's going to pay our lawyer fees." I'm sure discussed on their own, but jeeez I'd be terrified.

After listening to this family communicate for hours over the past two days, George might yell a lot... but I gotta give them credit, when anyone says something critical of the other or provides an opinion that doesn't match the other, they preface it with "I love you, but…”

I realize those small courts get the least funding.
I also wonder HOW that building was never brought up to code with an elevator. What if a juror/witness was handicap, how would s/he get upstairs.

Not sure. Maybe evidence the defense wants to present. Get it all argued and settled, then they can get on with making their case.

I hope I don't "go crazy" waiting while the jury deliberates. I want George to be convicted of murder and murder conspiracy, I am not worried about the possibility of him getting non guilty verdicts on some lesser charges like wire tapping. It's the murder convictions that will give him LWOP. And I hope he is convicted of all 8 murders.

It will be interesting to see what evidence the jury, during their deliberations, asks to see. Often juries ask to see certain evidence again that they want to be sure about.

Juries are unpredictable. I hope all 12 believe Angela and Jake's testimony that George went to the crime scenes plus there is circumstantial evidence before the crimes and these stupid things he let himself say while knowing he was being recorded.

Maybe there were some times he didn't know he was being recorded. It can be easy to forget too, while having conversations, you just talk without thinking.

I mean shouting as the Wagner's had the habit of doing.

I recall some early estimates for all 4 trials was supposed to be a little over $4 million.

Granted, a lot of this was attorneys fees, evidence prep/discovery and pretrial for all 4 defendants. Some of those costs wouldn't be repeated for the second, etc. trials.

Winter soldier mask wasn't found, but some ski masks were. IIRC, there was only conversation about the winter soldier mask and pretty sure record of buying it. I think it was noted some time ago that the masks used that night were burned/destroyed with the clothing, shoes, etc. after the murders.
