Lawyers and Judge are over 2 hours into this session and they have only reached "photo of bucket on five dollar bill". We know there is a mountain of evidence yet to be ruled on.

Jury is due to report at noon, 1 hour from now.

Back at it with more objections to pictures from Dana Rhoden's trailer going from outside in. Defense wants one with writing on the wall in garage excluded, but judge allows it.

Parker wants to exclude close up of Chris Jr face with bullet hole. Says there are other photos showing the body and crime scene.

Canepa: We were very judicious about what we tried to omit - the close up just shows the actual wound and injury.

Judge overrules the objection ... as well as other objections over photos showing bedrooms of Dana and Hanna

Time management is not a skill that Deering seems to have acquired.

What kind of person does that? A monster who should be put down for the safety of society, IMO. However, if prosecution doesn’t convince the jury that GW4 di the things you mentioned beyond a reasonable doubt, then he will walk.

Relying on two confessed felons, who had a motivation to lie and seem to at least bend the truth about other things during testimony, to convince the jury that GW4 is guiltily is going to be a tough sale. Yet without their testimony, I didn’t see much evidence of his guilt, except his association with his crime family. An association that never stretched to include murder before. I personally have a hard time believing known liars.
Keep in mind that they need to believe beyond "reasonable" doubt, not beyond all doubt.

Now arguing over the door frame of Dana's - which was unlocked and that's how the Wagners got in.

Arguing over photos of bodies and of the bullet/projectile in Dana's bed with other biological matter in the bed as well as body bag photo to show rigor mortis. Judge allows those to be admitted.

That's it for photos. Now introducing physical evidence, including comforters, bedsheets, etc.

Arguing about the other bloody diaper from Hanna's newborn daughter. Judge is allowing it all into evidence.

Go through JJJJ - quadruple J. Not done with Scene 4 or the autopsy photos. Prosecution suggesting pause process of introducing exhibits - bringing jury up to let defense to present its case out of order again. Judge wondering how much longer - Canepa says another day.

Wilson suggests sending jury home and plowing through today ... or letting defense go today and wrapping evidence process around this evening and then in morning again. Canepa says she didn't expect it to take this long "want to finish this case”

Court in recess to let lawyers decide what rest of day is going to be like.

Edited to include a few more tweets.

I believe those two cases were miscarriages of justice. AJMO

Do you think GWIV will take the stand? My logical mind is saying no way but his lawyers said he was not there, he was home. That makes me think he might take the stand...a slim chance but a chance.
I admit, I didn't follow Casey Anthony as closely, OJ, the first case televised, of its kind, (at least around here), I followed as much as that era would allow. As much as I believe the two were guilty, Jurors: Casey Anthony's case lacked hard evidence and to some extent, an instant dislike for the prosecution's arrogance and coldness. When they first took a vote, it was 10-2 to acquit her. As far as OJ? Jurors: The glove didn't fit. (I'm not so sure that it didn't...) Contamination of evidence was too possible, the droning on of his abuse of his wife, played no role in their decision either. I wasn't at those two trials either so, as far as the jury and judge, they are not guilty, and the law accepts that. Hard pill to swallow sometimes.

I do not think that G4 will take the stand. I'd say his lawyers have advised him not to do so. He can though, it is his legal right. I hope that he does. We'll never hear it though.

This trial is another hot mess like the Anthony case and OJ case. my opinion

Starting new thread for Pike Co massacre trial for George Wagner IV. They're doing two defense witnesses quickly and then going back to the evidence the rest of the afternoon. First witness was Bernard Brown, who owned the property where Wagners stored their trailers.

He opted out - said he drove cattle trailers with Jake and George. Says both were trustworthy and reliable. Never heard so much as a curse word from either of them. Said he arrived after BCI was going through Wagners' trailers - some belongings left out in rain.

He sold the Wagners a truck and trailer to allow them to get into cattle hauling business. Prosecution asks him about fate of truck/trailer "heard they burned up" but didn't know if it was accidental or intentional.

Ballistics said Frankie, Hazel, Dana, Hannah and Chris jr were all shot with the same gun. Chris sr, Gary and Kenny were all shot with the same gun. Chris was shot in the arm with the SKS. That is the only iron clad facts in this case.

Jake claims he killed 5 and shot another. That matches up with ballistics. Jake said Billy killed three. That matches up with ballistics.

Those are the only solid, iron clad facts in this case, presented by Matt White, your favorite BCI guy.

BIBM I do like him a lot. The beard of knowledge.

IMO, who is this guy kidding? Surely, he isn't talking about the W bros?

Next witness is Alex Staley, friends with George through his wife Samantha (who previously testified for prosecution). Went fishing with him, and George talked about his friendship with Frankie Rhoden.

When fishing - topic of murders and Frankie came up - and George was part of conversation. George "started tearing up and getting really sad about it”

After bench conference over defense question over Alex's opinion of George, Alex says "I would consider him a friend." He and Samantha are separated.

They would sit and talk 2-3 hours a time when George would fix their two cars. But only hung out a few times in the last five years.

Alex knew Frankie Rhoden as well through Samantha. Had a few interactions with him, less than George.

That's it for today for jury - dismissing for the day. Now the two sides are going to plow through the evidence and getting it done today. The jury is to be back at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

Breaking for lunch for 45 minutes then back in session to finish evidence etc.
