Re: possibly getting DNA from the print at Danas, I do wonder though with the large gap in time if they were looking for cameras or trying to get into the safe. Something was going on from 11pm until they were in Dana's killing them at what I think was after 1 maybe closer to 2. They went to Frankies and back, which was a little walk through what seems to be grass and/or driveway area.
Right, but I'm pretty sure I remember the story told was that Frankie's door was locked so that's when the W's began some of that back and forth driving around. They later came back to Frankie's house and JW stated he broke in through a window. So, that throws the timing off of CRsr's house and Frankie's house being so close together. Way back in this thread there was some sort of tentative timeline made up of that night by someone although I can't remember who.... a member here or a reporter on Twitter... Someone posted some pages back that Dana was posting on her Facebook page after 4 am. and posted a screenshot of Dana's page.
JMO.
Edited for clarification... "tentative" added.
And Facebook page info,

I'm watching L & C and it's not that they are up on a screen or anything, but the photos are in their hands and when they are sorting them or handing them over sometimes the photo is faced up or toward the camera so it is visible briefly.
Then it's my Wally glasses. My screen, just to read comments, and such, has had the + sign hit numerous times. I still love dogs though.

Id imagine the lawyers, judge, prosecutor, etc, are all used to seeing stuff like this. now the jury, I would not want to be in there and have to look at them during deliberation
I guess it would depend on the county they were working in as to what EMS, LE, attorneys, Judges, etc. had been exposed to. BCI working state wide has surely seen some gruesome stuff but some rural counties are quite a bit quieter than others. Injuries from traffic or farm related fatalities are one thing, murders are another. So going into ONE crime scene, seeing ONE dead body, disturbing but not a huge deal. When you walk into a crime scene with 2 dead bodies knowing the two survivors were an infant in the bed and a child on the couch? That’s hard to wrap your head around. Then you hear your co-workers are working two more more scenes just like yours? And another baby? And then a fourth? I don’t care what you’ve seen, the human mind isn’t built for absorbing that.

This is why I refuse to condemn any family member or any LE (Reader) any prosecutor or Jury member for how they have or haven’t handled any of this. Our brains are not wired to comprehend all of this. I wouldn’t want to be a juror on this case for sure.

Wow, food for thought! Thank you, Youre just in time with this, my coffee is ready and I'm due a good read.

They didn't need to check for donor DNA. It's irrelevant in this case.

The match was the specific shoe print, which matched one from Chris Sr's crime scene. The location of the shoe print also matched Jake's confession, in which he stated that GW4 stood guard in front of Chris Jr's room to make sure he didn't come out.

So food for thought is that Jake's description of what happened at Dana's that night was validated by George's shoe print from Dana's home matching one of the shoe prints found at Chris Sr's home.

Without talking to any co-conspirators or seeing or hearing about any evidence, Jake's description of events at Dana's house matched the shoe print evidence and tied GW4 to both crime scenes.

Bernie Brown, who owned one of the sites visited by investigators, said authorities searched two large trailers and took one smaller utility trailer owned by the Wagners, a local family. Brown said Jake Wagner sometimes worked for him fixing cars, and that the Wagners had dropped items off at the property about a week earlier.

It would be great if they could have gotten DNA from that print at Dana's. They could have matched that also for those that might need that additional confirmation. I don't recall if they ever said who's DNA was in the prints at Chris Srs house. I just think it was likely too long, and with wet ground either from some rain or dew that time of night/morning and all the walking back and forth they did before Dana's house, it likely wouldn't show any.

I don't condemn anyone, however, if you work for the public, we should hear your testimony. It should be mandatory. Same for those who have taken deals, and plead guilty. If opting out is allowed for general public, then so be it. No judgement.

In a court document, prosecutors wrote that Wagner threatened, chased and strangled Hanna, threatening to kill her and "put her body where it would never be found."

Jake's family allegedly drew up custody documents that she refused to sign. She wrote in one Facebook message: "(I'll) never sign papers ever. They will have to kill me first.”

She didn't send the message to any of the Wagners, but they saw it. They had already been monitoring Facebook accounts connected to the Rhodens, in some cases hacking in and using the accounts without their owners' knowledge.

Four months after she wrote the message, Hanna and seven of her family members were found dead.

In reference to the aforementioned message (posted by Hanna May on Facebook) has stayed with me. Especially the word "they" and we can all guess who they is being referenced. HMR knew the W's well. IMO. That sentence alone speaks volumes. MOO.

Painting the Wagner family as a "criminal enterprise" during a hearing on what evidence could be allowed at trial, prosecutors said the family allegedly took a vote to commit the murders and set up a fake drug deal as an ambush.

Special Prosecutor Angela Canepa said Billy set up a fake drug deal meeting with Christopher Rhoden Sr. at his Union Hill Road property, but it was an ambush.

"Chris Sr. expected to see Billy Wagner that night," Canepa said. "He did not know Jake and George were present, because they were hidden in the car."

There is no way they're going to get through all the evidence tonight.

Just tuned in to the live stream. They are still on the record. Attorneys completed a lengthy argument over ski mask evidence and are moving on to firearms now. Judge is requiring clarification and then more clarification. He is beyond weary....
ETA....Now they have the tub full of custody documents argue.

The prosecution needs to put photos of the Wagner’s home showing all the animal heads on the wall and the gun list also where ammo found in a kitchen cabinet after the Wagner’s moved out, is a kid safe living in a home with mass murders???? JMO

Mounts on walls in rural Pike and Adams Counties are plastered in MANY homes, as well as plenty of surrounding counties. I wouldn't do it but lots of families do. JMO

Very true, they're still working. Arguing over evidence. A little testy, the exchanges between prosecution and defense.

ETA: I think they're all tired. They're going through photo by photo. Now photos of tub with custody docs, all the items they found in search of the trailers.

The press obviously feels the same. The opt-out by county employees didn’t bother me but any elected official should have to participate definitely the two convicted killers. That was a bad call by the judge and one we all knew he was going to make.

haha. Judge told jury to be in jury room at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Lawyers agreed to work tonight until they finish...but they said that yesterday and it didn't happen.

Thanks for your informative post Betty but on checking my notes I've got most of your content covered. Will be looking at a few bits and pieces and listening again tomorrow to make my own mind up before Court starts here at 2pm.

Still more defense witnesses coming up tomorrow, right?
Then, will they get to closing statements by Friday?

Poor judge is tired. He was propping his head up with his hand earlier.

If they go much longer, they will need some of whatever caffeine George was on.
