Who are you talking about when you say:

"really no evidence either other than witness testimony that is no more believable than their own testimony."
What evidence does the state have against George? George alone, that is.

George's testimony was strange. Most of it didn't put him in a good light, but it seemed honest. IMO he is where he is (on trial for murder, or at least conspiracy to commit murder) because of who and what he is. He can't dispute his and his family's reputation as thieves. A couple things about his testimony don't make sense, the DVR story, for one.

  • #323
I would expect his testimony to contradict JW and AW, but BA about sleeping in the hotel? Why would she make that up? Maybe he only took a catnip and BA thought it was longer then a nap. Perception.
I am trying to understand the relevance of his testimony on this and a few other points compared to the testimony of others. In this case it is Beth's testimony. Is everyone but him a liar.

Actually thought this was criminal trial for murder but seemed his testimony at times was divorce/custody battle. GW4 attempting to smear TC and make himself look like an angel that does no wrong, as the victim that deserved custody of his child. He also made some serious allegations that if false are concerning. Curious if he would need to answer to making false statements/allegations/lying under oath? MOO

Although I stated, I find G4s testimony thus far, to be as credible as JW & AWs, I must add, in all fairness, that we didn't get the benefit of viewing JW & AWs full testimony due to the opt outs.

Wait! WHAT? Did he never ask himself why 3 year old would be having anxiety attacks?

Maybe your crazy family, George? Maybe all that yelling? Maybe your crazy mother?

How many signs did he need to get out and get his son out from under that roof? Seriously! One red flag after another but he didn’t have the money to leave? I’m not buying what he’s selling here!
I don't think he can hear you from afar.:rolleyes:

The camera system was bought March 17, 2016 at Walmart with a 3 year service plan. Finally found it here:

I am curious if George was treated for the STD he mentioned Tabby had. If Tabby was treated and he wasn't then just maybe she got it again because she was sleeping with George who maybe wasn't treated. I guess mentioning this is to somehow show Tabby was not a good person. She already testified that she cheated on George.
Some folks don't realize that about STDs, and re-infections are common, but, then again, she did marry not long after they divorced. I just think that this is to allow us to do what we've hoped, for GW4 to tell about GW4, and for him not opt out. So far, everyone else has talked about G4, except G4.

No way GW did not know about JW's Colt 1911 .22 since he is quite the firearm enthusiast himself. JMO

I just keep thinking about his answer to what he thought of Jake's proffer.

He couldn't believe his brother did it.

NOT he couldn't believe his brother implicated him in this crime?

If I read a proffer and in that proffer I was implicated in a crime I knew I had nothing to do with, I think my first reaction would be what a minute.. I did not do that.

When it came to the murders George had yes and no answers as one poster pointed out. Angela and Jake went into much more detail about George's involvement. Their detail against the defense just "glossing" over it is noticeable and might stick with the jury.

Did Angela and Jake convince the jury that George was there that night?

Did George convince the jury he wasn't there that night?

The jury has all that detail to think about from Angela and Jake. If they believe George was there then they will convict him. Plus, there is alot of prosecution evidence that adds up when you put it all together.

George denied having known anything about the murders, what his family had planned or the preparation process in the months leading up to them. If he had known about it, he wouldn't have allowed it to happen, he said.

"One way or another, I would have never let it happen," he said.

He'd never known Billy and Jake had left the house the night before, and he didn't remember waking up at all that night, he said.

He learned of the homicides from the news, after Angela called him and Jake and ordered them to come home on April 22, 2016. When he got home, he saw the news on television; Billy was freaking out, telling them he couldn't get ahold of Chris Sr. and Jake told him a friend had called and told him Hanna and Frankie were among the dead.

"It was more heartbreaking and more of a trauma than I've ever been through in my life," said George.

He reacted by driving his four-wheeler to the woods for a couple of hours to calm down, something he said he often did when upset. When he came back to the house, Jake was sitting in the living room in an unresponsive daze and Billy was sitting there, trying to talk to Jake. Angela was in the kitchen with the children. Billy stayed overnight at the Peterson Road house for days after that, which George said was very unusual, before his fighting with Angela drove him back to the Flying W Farm.

He, Billy and Jake went to the funerals of those murdered, he said; it was "everybody's" idea for them to go. He said he didn't know his father and brother had any involvement in the homicides at all.

While at the funerals, he said Jake showed little emotion, but that was typical for him. He said his brother didn't like being touched or hugged and rarely showed emotion; he'd never seen his brother grin or smirk the way he had on the witness stand when he described the night of the homicides, he said.

I need clarification. Wasn't AW, GW4 and JW all living under the same roof at Peterson Road and BW3 was living at flipping Flying W Farm at the time of the murders? TIA

So some things I'm thinking over here..

From the opening:

Silas will tell you that Jake and George and Angela came up to his property and gave him the $2500 for that truck.

Billy took the truck to his niece before the sun was up. He had his brother drive him home. The brother said George and Jake were in the barn when they arrived.. they went into the house

So this all had to be after George woke up and realized Jake was already up? George said nothing about his uncle bringing his dad there that morning did he? He also didn't say he drove up to get the truck did he? He said he got the money from his safe to give to his dad.

Also if after they returned home it was all over the news that would have to be 9 or so? Then he's 4 wheeling for a couple hours and then he returns and Jake is still there in a daze??

I thought Jake tried to go to union hill and then was at the hospital trying to see Kylie?

I think they will offer rebuttal evidence once the defense closes. They will call Silas Wagner and Bobby Wagner to testify that George was present when the truck was bought and that George was outside with Jake when he drove Billy there that morning.

Yes. At the time of the murders Angela, Jake and George lived together on Peterson Rd. Billy did not live with them at that time Canepa said. Billy lived at FWF. Canepa said on the night of the murders Billy was at Peterson Rd. In 2016, the night of the murders was the first time all 4 Wagner phones were together. I assume they mean all night.

Yes, the BCI agent testified that Billy's phone was at Peterson road that night and then the next morning for the first time that year. I believe the records they got were from Jan 2016 until April. His phone was never there another night all of the previous 4 months. Also, those texts between Angela and Billy were from I think Feb 2016 where she was saying get a camper and live close by etc.

IMO, “Rule 12” option is for victims and witnesses of their right to object to being filmed, videotaped, recorded, or photographed, etc. It isn’t applicable for defendant. I don't believe that GW4 waiving right to opt-out. He wasn't given the choice. Please correct if this is incorrect info. TIA.

George said he dressed up for funerals, except he didn't dress up for the funerals in this case.

Why hasn't anyone asked about the bruises on BW's face at the funeral?

No, but I saw a pattern.
IMO, When Parker is asking questions G4 has one of two facial expressions.

1) Looking down, eyes half shut

2) Locking eyes with Parker, when they are going through a well rehearsed story.

Just my impression from watching

Agree, they put in a lot of time preparing and rehearsing this performance. Weeks if not months.
George said he dressed up for funerals, except he didn't dress up for the funerals in this case.

I wondered the same thing. Amazing how they glossed over so many discrepancies, inconsistencies and inconvenient facts.

Right. They have no defense. But really no evidence either other than witness testimony that is no more believable than their own testimony.

Sorry, no, there's quite a bit of evidence. No, I'm not going to cite it again, it's back in the threads.
