Both sides rested. No rebuttals. Wow.
Sounds like the prosecution feels confident that GW4 didn't help himself with his testimony.

I’ve watched and listened every day of the trialYou can always go back and listen to testimony. Law & Crime on you tube is good.

im going to try to find the testimony for I remember him saying it was the video he turned off not the audio. Something to the effect of thought turning it on but turned it off by mistake. Then follow up was they did get audio. I may be wrongOnce again, BCI Ryan testified he turned the recorder OFF by mistake. It is in his testimony or is he lying on the witness stand also?

Yeah the I-gamble-so-much,-I'd-bet-if-it-was-gonna-rain-or-not part? He did do some stumbling and bumbling didn't he. I think every juror must have caught that one. JMODid you guys catch when AC was getting to the point of why would he get a gambling tattoo when he wasn't a gambler? And boy oh boy, GW starts talking fast declaring himself a gambler and then over explained why? Omg, I laughed so hard. He was so obvious. Imo.
Ok I am done with this. If you want to get to the truth of it go back and listen to the testimony. Around day 19 to 21 on you tube Law & Crime.Pretty sure that was the video camera and that he said they did get audio
If he testified, I missed it.
No Silas. Jury came in & both sides rested their cases. Judge told them closing arguments and jury instructions will take about two days. In fear of running out of time before the holiday, he told them to come back Nov. 28 to do all that.
I should say-- the defense will officially rest after submitting their exhibits. But.. you get the idea here.
There's no legit reason to fully believe either of them hook, line, and sinker, either.
He did! I went back to listen to it. He said about attempts to video record it and said they were trying to get video by using body worn cameras, but it was turned off or not turned on. They have audio. If they were not mirandized and didn't have audio the defense would have been highlighting that big time. No way they let that slide and not mentioned it. I didn't hear them say that once or object to any of AC's questions about what he said at the border. She wasn't lying and making stuff up. If there was not audio of that interview, then defense would have objected and said there was no recording of his. They would have asked Agent Scheiderer when he testified about what they did and who interviewed who at the border, why something wasn't recorded or why there is no record of it.Pretty sure that was the video camera and that he said they did get audio
He was called yesterday and asked about the guns from the gun show I think it was. It was only maybe 5 minutes and the defense didn't have any questions for him.No, I thought they were ready to have him do rebuttal, though. Sounds like they changed their mind.
They were able to catch GW4 in a number of lies in front of the jury yesterday, so that will make them realize he's lying about not being involved.
The testimony of Jake and Angela is valid. It wasn't exactly a gift. The shoes were accessories used to disguise their identities during the mass murder spree.
The testimony of Jake and Angela is valid. Their confessions were made separately, without having communicated with each other, without have read proffers. For the most part, they match in details. There's no legit reason to nullify their confessions.

Listen to Canepa's opening statement again. That giddy little giggle when she talks about Jake saving his entire family says it all about what the state is holding Jake up to be. A bona fide Hero with a capital H.What? Jake doesn't deserve the DP? Jake is being held up to something he is not by the State?
I'm not clear what you mean.
That’s how I’ve been feeling. If what he’s saying is true then he has to have so many emotional issues from being treated as second best his entire life and now very possibility having his entire family wanting to take him down with him for the sheer reason of “if we’re going you’re going too” (that’s my theory at the moment anyway.) like I can totally see Angela and Jake hatching this whole thing because they don’t want him living his best life while they’re rotting in prison. The jealousy would eat them alive. They don’t care about him or love him. Evil people. Why do i believe that George didn't commit these murders. I almost felt a little bit sorry for him.....he never had a chance with a family like his.
I don't like saying that but what if the jury feel the same....
He seems very credible....yes sometimes his story didn't match but what if he really didn't know about his family killing 8 people.
Maybe he was just so scared they we being stiched up that he did say they were all together that night to give them a alibi out of fear they were being accused of something he thought they would never do.
I don't even know if that makes sense but there's definitely doubt in my mind now.
What will his life be like if he's found not guilty.

Interesting. I found GW to be the most polished and prepared of all the witnesses except BCI agents and Beth, who seemed very natural & genuine in her responses. A very sincere kudos to the defense team. In my personal opinion their advance prep was the number one best and most important thing they have done or could do -- and it was time well spent. It very well may save him a life in prison. I believe it will.I thought he did well too. Out of the three, I found him the most believable and "unpolished". He has no idea what questions to expect from the prosecution no matter how well his attorneys prepare him to testify (and yes, that's part of it, preparing your client to speak in front of a group of people who are there to judge them). Prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, LEOs, BCI members, all have a lot of background in speaking at trials. The defendants in trials may have never spoken publicly prior to their court date. Gw4, like JW, was kept home, home-schooled, his marriage run by his mother, and as a child, played only with kids on BBL and FWF. Very controlled life. No wonder he wanted to drive a truck. JW was the good boy who didn't rebel against his family's lifestyle, G4 seems he's being portrayed as a "bad kid" for wanting more and rebelling against his family's lifestyle. One that obviously elevated good boy JW over GW4. Who wouldn't want away from AW and her scam of a dog, pony, and pig show farm?
This. I run in stores while my husband and kids wait in the car all the time. I just toss everything in the back and go about my day. She could have gotten in with the bag one of them been like “where to next?” and off they go to the next place without ever discussing what she bought. So, by just sitting in the car, and AW's golden truth testimony, means he knew. Not good enough for me. I guess no one has ever hidden gifts from a recipient, while they are with them. It's not that hard. eg; I gotta run in here for a second for some household stuff, be right back. Y'all wait here with the kids. Puts packages in the boot, and tada.
What day was this testimony.
Hmmmm. January in Ohio. Do people wear heavy coats in Ohio in January because we do here. Coats big enough to hide a pistol in. It is not a rifle he bought, it was a 22 pistol. Two brothers, that do practically everything together, go to the same gun show on the same day and even if not together at the show, at the end of the day they don't show each other what they bought at the show?
Three guns were added to the Wagner collection that day, and even though the gun safe was nearly "overflowing at times" because they kept most of their guns in that safe, G4 doesn't see the new Walther?
All those .22 casings fired and covering the grounds and G never saw the Walther? There were so many with the Walther firing pin impression.
Yeah but how many of those jurors are gonna miss gun season? I don't know about now, but when my boys went to Pike County Schools, school was always out the first day of gun season. It really is a big deal there IMO.So, the jury might start deliberating on Wednesday, Nov 30. They will hopefully be finished before the Christmas holidays.
