Wonder what happened to CR (mom of FR oldest)? Seems her FB account is gone.

Every time I think of Fred marching into that courtroom and defiantly sitting at that table like she is so confident that her money will get her out of trouble, I think of Kenneth R, Gary's father standing before the camera in quiet dignity and with despair in his face talking about how his youngest son was shot three times in the head. How he told reporters at Gary's funeral "No sleep. No rest. No peace." and how he would feel 100% better when someone was arrested for killing his son. Well Kenneth did not live long enough to see his son's killers in jail.

Then I think of Geneva in her chair shaking and crying and asking in a bewildered voice "Why did the grandchildren have to die too?"

Then Lenny crying out at reporters "They are dragging my daughters name through the mud." and with tears in his eyes and his voice cracking telling the reporters "We ain't got no revenge in our hearts."

I know there are some on here who think because Fred is a mother that excuses her from turning in her son and grandsons. But for those who do, think about this. Fred isn't the only mother involved in this. There is four other mothers who will never see their kids again.

Pike Co. victim's dad: 'No sleep. No peace. No rest.'

I do not see how anyone could watch GR's father's interview and not be greatly affected. He was SO hurt and SO bewildered as to why his son was dead. It made me more interested in the case realizing how senseless the murders were and hoping he got resolution for his pain. I hope I never have to feel the pain he did...

When I was following their electronic pathways, it seemed that neither were what I'd call "tech savvy". No covering their tracks and full public FB profiles.

I also do not believe they realized deleting things on devices does not make them disappear forever. That could have been a big problem for them...

Interesting podcast on this case I hope this allowed to post
Blubrry PowerPress Player

Thanks for the link, that's an interesting discussion. I'm going to follow it, as it sounds like they're going to follow this case on their podcasts. Here's their web site:

Lawyer Talk: Off the Record Legal and Current Events Podcast

They know Ohio law and criminal justice system. They're asking and answering a lot of good questions.

They also discuss, theoretically, how prosecutors may go about getting some of the perps to turn on each other, make a deal, etc.

In the conspiracy charge, "overt acts" accusation means prosecutors can access much more evidence. Opens up what can be discussed about planning and executing the murders.

They're really not up on all the details of the case, victims, etc., but most of their comments are relevant.

She homeschooled and had to have an interest, her mom was a teacher per a recent article...

Can't elaborate more...

Scared myself sharing my homespun psychology and edited post but my thought are based on what life has thrown at me. No better teacher.

He definitely was rage-filled already, and then the fight w CRSR (this is documented right?) emasculated him...he erupted.

AW wouldn't have been able to stop it.

No fight has been documented from a reliable source as far as I know.

I will have to search a little in my spare time.

I used to train dogs in agility and obedience, and we participated in competitions. Since most obedience and agility trials were held in conjunction with dog shows I spent a fair amount of time around dog show folks.

I also used to ride, and participated in enough events that I was on the fringe of equestrian circles.

Knowing a little about both groups of folks I can imagine that gossip about Fred is spreading like wildfire.

*Disclaimer: I have nothing at all against dog show or equestrian folks, and I do not intend to offend anyone. Your experiences may vary. I am speaking about my own experience from the specific area where I lived, during a fairly short period of time, and what I observed with my rather limited association.

I agree. I showed Cavalier King Charles. The gossip, if you chose to participate, was cut throat.

I just can’t find the understanding as to how the Waggies attended funeral and walk in the midst of all the death and suffering they themselves caused.

I know the definition of mental illness, I understand it, but they took SW in their arms, and someday, not today, she might look at each of them and ask why.

I don’t agree with their lifestyle, but we live in a country that for one reason we have the freedom of choices.

To Cause that much pain and suffering, and be able to live within that community is beyond acceptable choice to me.

For whatever reason, I believe the Waggies have had practice and in the future will be facing more charges in separate crimes.

I have toyed with the idea that she may have suspected or knew about someone else that <modsnip> Billy may have killed in the years before. If she had knowledge of something like that they certainly would not have wanted to see her talking to LE. And when she decided to take Jake to court over custody that might have precipitated the plans to kill them all.

I just think that one of the 4W's have killed before.

JMO
I agree. I think there s is the tip of an iceberg. Raised are you my sibling from another mother? We think alike

They are saying he can't be a criminal mastermind w/only a 7th grade education. LE have said that the murders were premeditated, and well planned. GW3's lawyer is trying to get across early, that he feels a man with a 7th grade education wouldn't be capable of orchestrating this crime.

Defense attorney pushes to move Rhoden family murder trial

My question;

It’s just a month after the arrests.

It’s becoming harsh reality that each Waggie now awakens to the bleak walls of a cell every morning.

Unles I missed something discover is only beginning to be sentvto defendants and it is to early to have shared even a preliminary witness list.

How did AW ATTORNEY even have a name
To file motions to unseal juvenile records?

Just to add one it’s bitsy thing
Megaton ever is in thatvjuvie record it’s be pretty damming.

Sorry hands and spellcheck messing with me this morning.

Whatever is in that juvenile record must be pretty damning. The person may have led a good life since or been an active criminal, but the attorney thinks it significant enough to open it and make it public. In doing so he already knows most of what it says.

Also how did he even get a name as its early to even have received a preliminary list from the prosecution.

The family maintains they told authorities they were moving to Alaska, a place they have occasionally visited for a decade. DeWine has steadfastly declined to confirm or deny specifics of the case.

.....

In a separate interview with KTVA, Conklin said the Wagners "pretty much kept to themselves" before moving back to Ohio in May.

I like the attorney on the right palmplant and face wipe before the judge comes in. Looks like he's saying what in the hell have I got myself into this time...lol

Yes, he's probably regretting his decision. These cases are going to take a long time and the defense attorneys and their staff, offices, etc. are going to give up a lot of time and work for very little money. When they take on cases like these, they often have to give up other cases, other income to focus on the task at hand. It's tough.

Well, the defense attorneys are going to do anything they can to toss out "red herrings". In these cases, JMO, their most likely tactic is going to be trying to claim the murders were done by someone else, with some other motive.

If they try to accuse surviving family members, well that would be really low.

Lots of ppl don’t seem to know, which is good.

OT

"I just got a feeling because there was a picture of a woman and two kids on the phone as the home screen," said the neighbor's girlfriend. "When I read up on the story online, I looked up Steve Wilson, I looked up his Facebook, and I saw his family and I compared the pictures on my Android on the iPhone, and it was his phone."

Does anyone have the link to the motions Angie's attorney filed?

Thanks

I think part of the reason they came back was how closely they were watched in Alaska. If the word about them was spread enough, they may have had a really hard time with getting housing and jobs.
I agree, whereas back in Ohio GW3 could get work on the horse farm, and maybe the sons had connections and could get their old jobs back. The sons may have wanted to live on their own and not all cooped up in one house, plus I expect they'd have wanted to find girlfriends and guy friends and not spend every moment of their life with their parents.

For anyone who's grown up and lived their whole life in an area, moving to somewhere far away is disorienting and often unexpectedly difficult for the first years. Being surrounded by strangers who you think are whispering about you, being photographed for the local paper going into the grocery store, having a fear of being caught, I like to think they couldn't find a moment's peace.

Attorneys can and are brazenly determined to win or mediate the penalty to clients.

Can you imagine in ten years time the reputation and fee schedule if any one of these attorneys if they win and get their client off?

HOLY JOSE (as in Casey Anthony’s attorney)

And the Prosecutors careers continued normally.

And in as much as I think she was guilty of her daughters death and likely so much more, I had to agree with the technical decision of the jury. The prosecution failed in significant ways. But it is done and the one good aspect of that case is Prosecutors learned significant lessons. It shouldn’t happen again.

Great question Chariliegizmo..... I'm guessing they already got the "heads up" on who's the weakest link from MOMMA ANGELA. She knows exactly who rolled over on her. But, onto more important issues: What shall I wear to court? Oh, yeah and can you take that pesky DP stuff off the table, too?

It’s almost as if the 4 were afraid of being separated. Maybe AW preferred everyone together 24/7 so no one had a slip of the tongue.
Guess they never entertained the possibility of incarceration consisting of separate institutions.

I think AW likes the media attention, I’ve always thought so. Obviously, she’d prefer to “dress” for it.
