I’m not familiar with the meaning of Scorpion tattoos. What’s the meaning, do you happen to know?

No I honestly don’t know. Heard concerns voiced more than a year ago from some locals who speculated the lack of progress in the Rhoden case was due to corruption in the department. I dismissed it as rumor.

I agree. He was shot nine times. Five in the face, three in the torso , once in the arm. His face alone, probably did look as if he'd been beaten.

This statement of JW’s has bothered me since the first time I read this article, back in June 2016.

It bothers me even more now that the W family has been charged with the Rhoden murders.


But if he isn't Kylie's dad, and if the courts deem another man suitable to care for her, he will step aside -- at least partially.

I've given this some thought too. I see JW as being a bit naive. Being a child, living in the country, your playmates are usually your sibling(s), the closest neighbor kid, whether you really get along or not, and the animals on the place. It leads me to believe that HMR was probably his first real girlfriend. I also think that it may be possible that they ha d both sets of parents thinking that they were sleeping on top of the covers, and with full clothing on, say, sweats, for example... (Believe me, I've seen that happen...blows. my. mind.). So, at first, I thought he was just a naive young man, who thought that it's possible that since he had S, that he could be a possible placement for her 1/2 sis. I also thought that he may be naive enough think that he could get the girls visitation together (play dates).

Then, I also thought about the public FB argument, where HMR was pretty vocal about CG, and thought JW knew that, and he might know why, too, and just was hoping to keep in touch with the child, and just didn't understand the way the world worked.

After the murders arrests, the comments make him look very different. Not in a good way, either. However, if he was so keen on keeping the girl's together, why would he move S to AK, unless he had to. Sometimes a parent has to move. There's just no choice. I then think back to FW, it's like she knew if anyone was innocent, it was JW;

His grandmother, Fredericka Wagner, said in April 2017 that he said nothing to do with the April 22, 2016, massacre.

“They have nothing,” Fredericka Wagner said in a 2017 Dayton Daily News interview. “Their searches have turned up zilch. Nothing. And they aren’t going to either because Jake had nothing to do with it.”

There are good guards, and there are bad guards. There are some guards that will even "pay" other inmates to harm an inmate that they dislike. Those guards are no better than the inmates they pay to harm others.

We have a federal and a state prison in my area, lots of local guys are employed at them. None of the ones that I know or have had conversations with, treat prisoners with any respect, in fact it's the opposite. JW had better just sit quietly in his cell, for his own good.

There are many possible meanings but one meaning is death. It seems curious that it would be on his pistol finger tho. IMO, the number of notches on the tail could be important. This is all MOO. JMO. That tattoo seems like a possible trophy and/or a way to intimidate others. JMO. MOO.

Well that’s disturbing. I wonder when BW got that scorpion ink. It does also seem out of sorts for someone of devout religion to have a scorpion tattoo on their trigger finger. JMO

I'm not sure if he is the weakest link, no offense. I'm also one of those people who observe people's behaviors and read a Lot on sociopaths/psychopaths. ( Btw, a psychiatrist told me the only difference in those two words is a psychologist will use socio, and psychiatrist uses psychopath. ). People with this personality disorder do strange things, like smiling at inappropriate times. He could be covert and playing with everyone.

IMO, his demeanor is “softer” than that of his bro. Not that it means a thing. He just comes across less gruff, imo.
Perhaps because he’s the baby of the family. IMO, G4 tries to project a “bad butt” image. I think where he ends up, he’ll see what bad guys really are.

I’m the same Almond, always studying something. Does he seem almost childlike to you? Something about him, in every pic or court appearance strikes me as odd. Idk exactly what it is.
I think, he adores attention. Any attention. He seemed to be quite personable towards his attorney, during his last appearance. MOO

Most of our nearby jails are 65/35, I'd hope, to the positive as far as guards. There's always the ones who want to find a reason to shut down the phones at Christmas or, near elections, or some such thing as that. There are some local jails that are really, really, bad though. However, if they're responsible for putting an inmate in such a place where they can be killed, purposefully, then they're no better than the inmate they helped kill. They're a murderer.

That’s a valid point for sure. I think it would he in his best interest either way that his attorneys advise him that smiling while facing 23 felony counts isn’t a great idea. I wonder if any of them will try to use mental health as a defense.

I get that from him too. I could be off as well. On FB, he and he and T looked so happy together. I mean truly happy. Seems both girls left close to the same time frame. I keep wondering if it is coincidence. Then again, anyone can look happy on FB.

The smiling could be a response to nervousness or fear. Jonas posted a link about fear and smiling in primates. I've fooled with dogs for decades, if you see a smiling dog, it's nervous or fearful, and could bite you. I've seen people smile inappropriately at funerals. I probably have been one of them...

Yes it definitely could be a reaction to being nervous or fearful. Although, as an outsider looking in, I still think it’s harmful to him being a defendant and smiling big several times when addressing the judge . I whole heartedly want to see JW prosecuted to the fullest if he’s found guilty, however I feel his attorneys also have a duty to look out for his best interest and advice him about his demeanor. Smiling, whether nervous or not, is not a great image for him to portray while fighting 23 felony charges, 8 being for capital murder.
