She did seem really stressed out today. Hopefully, her mother's attorney is discussing the details of the case with her. Assume he is since she lives with Fred W. Surely, he's given them an idea of what's going on, what to expect. Denial can be persistent, though, if she's lived a sheltered life and isn't familiar with the criminal justice system. Could be that her mom is also filling her up with a lot of false optimism, too.

But surely she has some idea of what to anticipate when she goes to these hearings. Maybe her mom is putting a lot of pressure on her or perhaps her mom's attorney isn't giving them enough information.

If all she has done her whole life is work on the farm for her mother, she may have little knowledge of the proceedings she is attending. I'm sure she has to be at them to report back to her mother. She could be totally innocent and still get scrutinized by people. The bad part is we know nothing about her. She could have been involved, totally out of the loop on the murders, or helping LE.

Has it been reported where the piece to make a silencer or a part of silencer was found? I know it was stated found by le but can’t find the location where it was found.

They haven't revealed where it was found. That will probably be revealed later once the trials begin. A lot of folks would like to know.

Thanks for posting clips of these old articles. It is interesting to re-read old news articles in light of what we now know.
Interesting, sounds to me like Dewine just confirmed there were stolen cars at the R's. That opens up a whole new avenue of possible crimes. The sale of autos (used) keeps popping up.
MOO - I have always been curious about CRsr1's ability (I'm assuming) to issue and register temporary license plates. Before anyone asks me for a link, this is based on my memory only. Take it with a grain of salt!
Just my rambling, speculation and opinion.

No stolen cars. The VINs were all checked and none were reported as stolen according to LE.

Either a glaring mistake or someone took it for insurance. It still seems odd to me that it turned up 10/30/2018. I'm not aware of any search warrants on that date.
I think all involved realized by then that LE was closing in.
MOO

In my opinion, it was the "fluff" used as the sound deadener in the "suppressors""silencers". They way some are made a small amount gets expelled with the bullet. If some of those fibers were found on the victims or in wounds, and it matched some found in searches, that would be big...

It's probably safe to assume, though, that she thinks the killers are innocent. If she does realize they're guilty of these heinous crimes, it also says something about her that she loyally attends all the hearings and expresses deep concern about seeing her family members acquitted of the charges against them. It's hard to feel much empathy for her if her goal is to return her family members to the community that they terrorized. JMO

Perhaps we'll learn more about whether she thinks the W's are guilty, but for now I assume she either thinks 1) they're innocent or 2) the Rhodens provoked their own murders.

Most folks who realize their family members are guilty of such brutal, premeditated murders don't show up to court to offer dedicated public moral support. They usually make a public statement of sympathy to the family and friends of the victims. None of the Wagners have done that, including RW. Does anyone recall any of the Wagner family, accused or otherwise, ever publicly expressed any sympathy or condolences to the survivors and friends of the Rhoden/Gilley families?

I have a brother in prison in w. va. We send him money, no more than 100.00 a month. We also send a food box from a certain company every third quarter. He also works training rescue dogs and makes 50.00 a month.
I used to be a big supporter of the prison rescue dog program. But recently prisoners beat a rescue dog to death in prison. There’s a thread about it here. I heard about it on our local news and it made me absolutely sick.

Perhaps Robin likes the way she dresses and is most comfortable in what she chooses to wear. For me, I just think it is wrong to discuss her on here, especially in a way to be making fun of her.

I have learned a few things these past few days and hopefully we all can stop and ask ourselves "I WONDER WHY?" when having these types of discussions.

With that being said, I will bow out for now as this topic is not for me. May justice come for the victims. :(

I don’t understand why relatives are allowed to be mentioned by name on some threads but on other threads posts are deleted and warmings given when names of relatives are mentioned, even if their names have been in MSM. Can anyone explain? I am just trying to stay out of trouble :(

Good question. At the very beginning, AG DeWine decided that Pike County would be the home jurisdiction for this case, with assistance from other counties. IANAL, but it probably has no effect on the charges. There's a good possibility the cases will be tried in other jurisdictions, the judge will probably rule on that by the end of this month, according to his remarks at AW's hearing yesterday.

Welcome davmicmin! :)
Thanks for the welcome. I understand about jurisdiction and pike being in charge. The indictments state that they happened in pike. I'm wondering does the prosecution have to prove what's in the indictment, or can they say...well you know it's a jurisdiction thing. because if they have to prove what's in the indictment I see a small problem. IMO...and my opinion doesn't count for much.

There's prison in our state that allows the inmates to train rescue dogs. It seems like a really good program (for both participants).

I saw a TV show about a prison that takes rescue dogs and trains the so they can be adopted quicker. That is a good idea also...

Caylee I think it is just good nature joshing. I don't think anyone on here means her any malice. I know I don't. I feel sorry for her. I wish her all the best.

I can see her living with, "Wagner? Are you related to the ones that killed all those people?"

Same clothes every time. That has to be some kind of uniform she wears at work. I cannot believe she does not have any other clothes. And that cannot be her Sunday go to meeting clothes. Or maybe it is. I don't know. Poor Robin. I think her life has been turned upside down. I do hope the best for her.

Jmo

I didn't see the hearing, and thought from the still photo that it was AW writing on her pants. Then I read that AW was in prison clothes so it couldn't be her, put the khaki pants + white shirt together...had to RW. I, too, think it must be her work outfit, but doesn't she work on the farm/ranch? A white shirt seems an odd choice.

One thing that was very noticeable at AW's pretrial hearing. LM never stopped grinning and made sure he looked at the camera grinning as much as possible. I'd bet he is still being told to be silent and he is just busting to say something...

Probably people report certain posts. Some threads have relatives or others at the ready to report.

I would think she is more of a manager at the farm telling employees what to do. It looks like a huge operation and there has to be employees doing the "dirty" work...

Thanks, that makes sense.

You're so right. I noticed too.

That's a nice jail.

member: 234750"]If you know any attorneys, ask how they feel about being asked to deliver messages! I think it infuriates them.
Plus, it’s unprofessional.
Moo, this case is early bird gets the worm. It appears to me AW & JW are going to be first to cut a deal. Based on nothing....jmo.
Think, AW & attorney want DP off the table. IANAL. But,
I would absolutely refuse to take it off the table because indications are (to me) she’s not ready to die & will plead guilty. Case closed. She doesn’t even have to tell on anyone, only plead to the charges against her.
Moo[/QUOTE]

All indications are that while it may be a largely circumstantial case, law enforcement clearly understood all evidence had to be near perfect to secure a conviction. That’s why it took 2.6 years to investigate the murders. A salute to those who devoted time they were not pad for, the time spent with families when thinking about the case, the time each LE Officer spent during the first week of November, 2018, when they all were waiting for the results to return from the lab. Each knew they had solved the Rhoden murders that week, and each had to call up the last bit of patience they had to hear results.

Ohio can be very proud of their LE. For 26 years residents waited for arrests. Waited for justice and it was served.

I wish we could have seen, And perhaps we will the moment LE arrested each Waggie. The surprised terror on the WAGGIES faces must have been a sight.

Here's a link to the WS Rules page that deals with being victim friendly, if this helps.

Rules - Etiquette & Information

The "victim friendly" rule extends to the family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, and others who have not been designated as suspects is not allowed. Don't make random accusations, suggest their involvement, nor bash and attack them. Posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public -- is not allowed. That does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media.
