It seems like LE's working theory for the first year or so was that JM & BJM were responsible for the murders. What implied motive would they have had to murder their sister?

There was a lot of speculation (discredited now) that Manleys were jealous of all the land and money(?) that Chris Roden, Sr had. Some thought they were also jealous of the "new" trailer that he bought for Dana, and that, if they killed the family and got guardianship of the kids, they would be able to take ownership of all the land and Dana's home, etc.

From the timeline of the Wagner interviews and speculation about Wagner "tips" to LE that the Wags were feeding a lot of bad info to LE implicating the Manleys, especially JM and BJM. JMO, at some point, it looks like Reader and BCI stopped believing all the BS the Wagners were feeding them. Something happened around the time they arrested JM that made them finally realize it was the Wags not the Manleys. All JMO, I could be wrong.

ETA: Not sure if these were LE's theories, but it may have been something similar. JMO, Wags were spreading these rumors a lot on social media from the start.

No credit to me, really. There were a lot of WS members here who built most of the early part of the timeline. You can see their work in the first half or so of the Media & Timelines Thread and regular forum threads. It was crazy times, such shocking news, world-wide media coverage, lots of rumors and news breaking, etc. People horrified, etc.

RAW has not attended any hearings other than Freds, right? I think it’s ,ore than reasonable he caught wind of his kin’s involvement (or put 2+2 together and got 4), & might have conducted his own investigation from the privacy of his home, via cctv. It makes more sense than someone wearing a wire, imo.
It could be as you described, she seems confident Jake is innocent.

i just posted in an effort to correct my ignorance (can incorrect wording in an indictment end in aquittal).

I love my family I love my township I love my county. I just hope the best for us. the majority of Pike county citizens have struggled for 150+ years . What's going on now isn't a reflection on the families that live in rural pike county.

JMO: It could be something along those lines. Anything is possible. It could be HR realized how controlling the W family was, if in fact she lived with them for a while, and she didn't want a dang thing to do with it or them.

It's not too far fetched to think they'd protect their assets. JW wouldn't probably have been the driving force on this. More like a family head saying you will do this.

It's not too far fetched to think they'd protect their assets. JW wouldn't probably have been the driving force on this. More like a family head saying you will do this.

Oh, I can see that, it very well could be the reason why they were waiting til she was 18 to get hitched. In OH a male can't get married w/o a judge's consent, until he is 18. A female can get married at 16 with both parents consent, however, she cannot enter into a contract until she is 18.

Either way, I'd still shove a prenup down his throat, and ride off into the sunset.

Like her or not, FW is to astute to not have her affairs in a trust. She’s been represented for years, according to reports (Clarke, iirc is her atty). He would be mostvremiss if FWF isn’t in avtrust, as we’ve discussed. That’s LAW 101.

If she's as tight fisted with that place as I think, and if she has a cctv system, RW is the one who I'd think would have the most access. RAW could probably get it easily enough though, but I'm still not 100% they have one. She reminds me of old school horse folks.
