The movie poster shows hands with tattoos on the shooting finger... the fingers are on the triggers...

Interesting article about the downfall of the director of that movie. He had the same problem with delusions of grandeur, toxic narcissism, dictatorial tendencies and hostility and condescension towards others. It ended up ruining his career.

Thank you Betty! I may just need to watch that movie tonight. I will let all know if/where I can find it. It must have something to do with implied motive and mindset of the killers.

Don't know, could be one of the defendants posted it on a FB account or emailed it to someone. It's a movie about killers going on a murder spree because they think God wants them to get rid of dangerous criminals.

The Boondock Saints (1999) - IMDb

The Boondock Saints from The Boondock Saints (1999)

Sure, as if God would want the Wagners to murder innocent teens and young moms with newborn babies. Delusions of grandeur.

The killers are 2 sons and their father that the media dubs "The Saints".

Not a respected movie, by any means, unless you're an incel who loves violence.

Appears the characters even had a sick prayer they said when they murdered people. I wonder if the Wagner family said a prayer after murdering the Rhodens? Pretty twisted.

Yes! Great. Speculation is that the silencer was found in the well on the Peterson Rd. farm as the date of the search was Oct. 31, 2018. Cell tower records were from Billy Wagner's phone. I'm wondering about the custody messages. There were hundreds of them. I wonder if there was a lot of messaging, emails, etc. related to pressuring HMR to give up custody as well as messages about falsifying custody documents.

Here's another article

Wagner son who fathered daughter with slain-Rhoden teen in court for Pike Co. murders
I have been trying to find a word to describe the look on Jake's face in court. The only one I can come up with to best describe it is "Satisfaction". He is very satisfied with the fact that the R's and especially Hanna are dead.

I suppose they really feel as if they carried out God's will in massacring 8 innocent people in their sleep. I wonder if they got these kinds of messages in their church? Hope not. Maybe from Fred Wagner's preaching? She lives close to the cross and all.

Just wondering if they also lived "close to the Cross".
Do you think they had any parking tickets? That seems to be very important to FW's defense attorneys.

This leaves Smecker in a difficult scenario, and struggles with the choice of whether to prosecute the three men, or join them in their cause,

Did the W4 have the illusion that LE would join them in their cause of killing the R's like the LE in the movie? The W's most certainly watched too many movies. Someone should have taken their TV away.

I'm envisioning the whole Wagner family sitting around their tv in the house on Peterson Rd watching this movie. This is how the whole family brainwashed themselves into committing the massacre.

I guess their online social media campaign trashing the Rhoden family after the murders was an attempt to replicate the movie by winning LE and public opinion to rally around the killers. JMO.

They'll want to use the same tactics when they go to trial - trashing the Rhodens and making themselves out to be vigilante heroes.

ETA: Yep, there's a trial phase in the movie. From the Wiki link above:

Three months later, Papa Joe is sent to trial for a third time. However, the local media are anticipating an acquittal. The brothers and Il Duce, aided by Smecker, infiltrate the trial. Unmasked, they reveal themselves to the world and make a speech stating that they intend to eradicate evil wherever they find it before reciting their family prayer and killing Papa Joe. The media dub the three "the Saints".

Sounds like a crazy movie.

The closing credits roll on top of footage of people arguing whether or not they believe the Saints' brand of vigilante justice is justified.

Wonder if their defense attorneys have watched the movie yet?

If not, I'll assume they will be watching that movie tonight.

Wow. I did look it up and found that it's a movie (with Norman Reedus, before Walking Dead), but hadn't read up on the plot. I wonder what the specific clip pertains to.

Curiouser and curiouser.

"Custody Messages (1 excel sheet with 519 entries)". A spreadsheet containing messages? Did Billy create a spreadsheet to document messages or does this refer to a spreadsheet that LE put together?

"Fredericka Wagner lied about her son's bullet proof vest". Maybe I haven't been paying the strictest attention, but this is the first I've heard of a bullet proof vest.

"Information from Maglite." ATF shined a flashlight down the well and this entry relates to what they found? The silencer maybe? I wonder why they refer to it this way.

Maybe the "prayer"?

ETA: I'm putting that in quotes as there's nothing religious or virtuous about it.

When I read it, I thought the spreadsheet represents a compilation that LE did of all the custody related messages they found on texts, voicemail, emails, etc. They would need a way to compile and organize that information to show what was taking place, showing a motive. It's a LOT of messages and I wonder if JW and family were really harassing HMR over his threats and demand for full custody. This could also contain messages with threats, etc. sent to CR1 and Dana R.
