First off dont know any wags (thank god) dont know any R's and not from that state. iv been following this case from day one and i want to ask Is anyone going to play devils advacate here? Seems le is connecting dots after over 2 years but not one conversation about the elephant in the room that being one of the main lead investigators has been charge with stealing evidence (money) and his own brother just fired? And not one single charge until (after) Dewhine is elected gov? Jmo iv said it before i think dope money was involved more than whats reported. so we have a sherriff stealing money from evidence lockdown after the murders his brother also slacking then fired. Please im just saying what any defence would say first off (devils advacate) if my family didnt kill anyone and le comes out to say to media that (lazer focus) is on my family then you bet the talk at the dinner table (in private) would not be nice about le. and If my mom believed in her heart and me that my family didnt kill anyone and she knew i had bpv in my closet after being on the (lazer focus) the fear could have her lie to protect me from unjust cause. Le says pre planned big time right so they killed 8 people and the plan was to throw the evidence down a well on their own private property but keep the bpv at moms house?. Le had lazer focus on these people but didnt have hindsight to look down a well?. Le finds a a burned up vcr and a maglight after 2 1/2 years (just before) a sherriff gets busted for stealing evidence how convienant. then It only takes days to connect the mag to the murders that one piece? maybe the evidence was just placed there (before sherriff being charged) humm?. But im just playing defence. Jmo do i think the wags did this it sure looks like it ($is why and revenge) but if the jury only needs one little opening it sure seems the defence will have plenty to feed them. All this is jmo but i think its fair to proove 100% i hope le has everything tight but Readers charge left a opening any defence could bring into this case. Bringing charges after so long just opens up alot of issues jmo. I cant wait for all the evidence i think le has ducks in a row and justice will pevail and i like reading all your post. Old Sparky was retired in 1963 so it's lethal injection if they get the DP. Well all DP's are on hold for now in Ohio anyway since Dewine wants a better cocktail for killers, one that is "more humane." .

Yep, I suppose the victims just might have preferred humane deaths too, but they had no say in it.

I've always wondered about anyone worrying about humane ways to kill convicted killers. The firing squad was probably the most humane if they don't want suffering while dying. Or, an overdose of Fentanyl. Then they'd get high while dying...

On my PC This pic is huge. It looks like there could be a water well just behind, to the left, of the camper. I've heard many times about him taking showers at CRsr's place but wondered how he could get by without water to flush a toilet, etc...

To answer your question of why the long wait. It is for that very reason of how DeWine would look if he arrested someone on flimsy evidence in the biggest murder case of his career. He patiently waited 2 1/2 years beating off questions from the press until he had a 100% concrete case. A slick politician like him would not do anything less.

If you look you can clearly see what the R's murder case meant to DeWine. He jumped in his (car, plane, train?) and rushed on down to Pike county to personally oversee everything in connection with the investigation. I think he made it there a couple of hours after the first call to the BCI. He took over all aspects of the investigation. He gave all the interviews to media with Reader standing like a frozen statue behind him. He called all the shots about what was released to the media. He fought for nearly 2 years all the way through Supreme Court to keep the autopsies out of the hands of the media. And like the great politician he is he even brought his lovely wife in by giving us that tidbit of Franny's opinion about the ....(unmentionable in consideration of a certain poster on here lol). Then in the end it was DeWine front and center, taking time out of his very busy pre governor's mansion schedule so no one else could steal his thunder for solving the case, to announce the arrests of the W's.

If you think about it, there was no way DeWine was going to rush to an arrest on a case that meant that much to him. He is just too good of a politician for that.

Here's the photo of the cars in front of CR1's home. So, the theory we're now discussing is that the red sporty car with white stripes was Gary's, but it was out of commission because he had an accident and dented up the front, thus was driving the blue car seen at KR's? It's an interesting theory. JMO

I also found a news video where the reporter says Leonard Manley told them that Jake Wagner and his father tried to get HMR to sign over her custody rights just before the murders. IIRC, we had been looking for that. This was at the time LE was searching the Wagner farm on Peterson Rd.

My opinion only.
LM refers to Wagners wanting Hanna to sign over custody rights.
I wonder if the paperwork was prepared by a legitimate attorney or the Firm Of Wagner, Wagner, Wagner, Wagner and Newcomb.
These people were so bold.

Once again I'm reminded not to rely on memory for facts in this case. Back then discussion was about the car being a Lumina or Cavalier, it's clearly a Cavalier and I posted that in 2016. Yesterday I said 80s-90s Lumina. I recall (oh no) blowing up the pic of the rollbacks in 2016 and the tail light appeared to be closest to the shape of lights on a Lumina. But clearly, again, I will swear the car at KR's is a Cavalier 2002-2003 + or -.

I'm partially colorblind, and it could just be the lighting ... Does anyone think the car on the rollback is a lighter blue than the one in KR's driveway?

Sorry to flog this car again, I just think there may be something there. Killers used it, taking it from CR's? GR forced to drive it there? Could be nothing, GR left it to be repaired, but maybe LE was informed it wasn't KR's and not normally parked there, so that was their interest in it. Just as JM's truck was towed from UHR.

I've thought maybe they killed people as they arrived home.
We know ChSr showed more decomposition so could be either he and one of the Ws argued earlier and he was killed or the hit was planned to be timed when DR SHOULD have arrived home had she not gotten stuck with a double, poor gal.
Maybe all the victims except big Ch, DR andHR were not intended targets and others kept getting home before DR got off so we're killed as possible witnesses. They didn't want to blow their cover and be discovered too soon.
The text message is a rumor maybe? It's not documented is it so it maybe was a misdirection.

Why in the world would anyone be stupid enough to keep the bullet-proof vests especially if they were blood stained (and I think they would be) after the searches on Friday? FWR wasn't searched till Saturday. Could it be that 4 were purchased and only 2 were used because of a change in plans and those 2 used ones were distroyed? This to me, if proved that they were purchased by the W's in the correct timeframe, could be as damaging as 2 blood stained vests

Searching images for scorpions on the hand, the majority have the claws oriented toward the thumb and fingers. Only saw one other with the stinger extending down the finger.

Some people have really large and colorful scorpions on the back of the hand, oriented with the claws toward the fingers.

You could be right. I've been thinking out loud a lot, and not applying stops.

I noticed three things in the movie script that stand out to me. But I don't know if we can discuss the movie details in a theoretical manner. Sort of waiting to see about that.
