IMO, the disagreement is family agreed together to not speak because they didn’t want the program done. Someone went against the family agreement and spoke with Oxygen. All JMHO and personal take.

Aha! Well, from the other teaser for the show at the Oxygen web site, they have a LOT of wrong information. They keep saying the family members were killed in 4 different homes on the same property - as if they were all living next to each other. Even a quick google search would show that's not true.

Anyone want to volunteer to put together an interactive map for the crime scenes? We've all posted several dozen maps of one kind or another here. Maybe we should put together one that has

All the crime scenes, accurately located
AW's Peterson Rd farm
FW's Flying W Farm
FW's property where evidence was found/where AW and GW3 used to live
Manley homes (if appropriate)
Dana Rhoden's work

What else? Any ideas?

I thought this can't be true....just when you think you've seen it all....then this comes out. I'm afraid to watch it because, yes, it might be too sympathetic to those who have been arrested but also there will be inaccuracies that will drive all of us crazy. And you know there will be interviews with ______? (fill in the blank)********

Yes, the reason I mention that is because it has happened before, most recently with the Rebecca Zahau case and a story done by 20/20 that was obviously sympathetic to her killer and boyfriend and their family. It was at least the second or third media outlet who did that with the Zahau story. Her ex- boyfriend is a billionaire pharma exec, so it was not too surprising.

Not sure if FW has the juice to do this, but the whole thing seems odd, especially with big quotes from defense attorneys. Why would Oprah care about this story, except that she and others want to cash in, I suppose, during the trials. The teasers seem inappropriately lurid. I feel badly for the families of the victims.

I honestly think there is more to it than custody. If that where the case then they could have just offed Hanna. Girls go missing all the time and disappearances are much harder to solve than murders. I would guess that money was a big motivating factor. I think George 3 saw that Chris SR was doing much better then himself. Plus i've heard through the local rumor mill that Rhoden SR had quite a bit of cash stashed back upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Chris SR seemed like a very smart and frugal man. My grandpa always said that its better to be rich and act poor than be poor and act rich. I think the Rhodens were very wealthy. Even Chris Jr was rumored to flash thick wads of cash at school and around town.

It's possible that the alledged assaillants had multiple motivations.

The Ws were not financially succesful. I could imagine the rage building up if the young mother and her family were to ask for a child pension in exchange of a formal agreement. The above is just a speculative scenario.

I can think of another big case, a familicide, where the assaillant believed the targeted family was hiding money. I won't provide a link, we were instructed not to bring other cases in this thread.

In that other case, the money was never found and the investigators believe it was just a rumor. It was real in the assaillant's mind and it's the only thing that matters.

If the Ws believed the Rs were rich and hiding money, it's likely to come out. If the Ws were upset at the Rs for a long period, I doubt that no one around them never heard anything.

Where the power line easement runs and where the railroad tracks are.
The 845 Bethel Property, the church, the home for disabled adults.
Great idea, that map will be extremely helpful to me to understand the proximity of all of the locations.

Shall we assume it's sympathetic to the killers? How could such a thing happen? No one in the national media has been paying attention to this case. Did Fred Wagner go hire a PR firm to talk someone at Oxygen into making this?

It's a complicated crime with a lot of victims and killers. Most news organizations haven't followed it and will be easily tricked with misinformation.

Realistically, I think the only ones that might see obesity as a motive are the bed bugs. But then again, chickens can be judgemental as well.
The next court date can't come soon enough.

I read a LE report that the Wagners were stocking the Rhodens in 2014 that was around the time this photo was taken.

Chris looks pretty rough in that picture, was he in bad health or something? I take back what i said earlier about Chris sr being able to whip all the Wagner men . He could probably whip Jake but seeing him and Billy side by side i no long believe he would whip Billy.

Yes! Start with the grandmas and there is just too much information to not have a 2nd M&T thread. How would posters get that kind of thing going?

I had thought about a thread to post just the MSM articles (with descriptions and dates) that were written before the arrests for posters who weren't following the case from the beginning. Those articles give alot of basic information and answer alot of common questions people ask about the case.

We're just discussing ideas right now. When the time comes, we can ask the mods to help us out. It's up to them. They may have some suggestions, too.
