Contact wounds as indicated by soot from the gun pressed to frankie's head. If forensical analysis was done on those silencers would they be able to retrieve soot if they were submerged in water?
I believe it's the material used to muffle that would be left behind on the victims and in the silencer.

Loomis do you know, was it ever explained in the media why they couldn't even take notes when viewing those reports?

"Reporters began inspecting the single-page reports Wednesday following an Ohio Supreme Court decision allowing journalists to view the preliminary results. Reporters were not allowed to copy documents or photos or even take notes."

I'm sorry, I dont know.

Does anyone here think Ohio would bring the Wagners to court if they didn’t think they weren’t guilty, M.DeWine knows and the rest of LE from Ohio Thur Canada up to Alaska knows these people committed murder or they wouldn’t spent $100,000 of dollars saying so, it’s like that old saying if it walks like a duck and quack like a duck then it’s a duck

Maybe they know it's a duck because the duck quacked.

There were multiple conversations between the 4 Wagners about revenge and escape threats AC said during GW4's bail hearing.

Does anyone really think that in all these overheard and/or recorded family talks---of
FOUR people talking---that there wasn't even ONE time someone made an incriminating statement that ties them into the murders?

JUST MY 2 CENTS....JUST THEORIZING ABOUT WHAT IF THE CONFIDENTIAL RELIABLE SOURCE OVERHEARD INCRIMINATING STATEMENTS ABOUT THE MURDERS.....AND HOW EASY IT MIGHT BE TO STATE SOMETHING INCRIMINATING DURING CONVERSATIONS.........

" ....search all they want... those cameras...that stuff.... miles from here........

"....don't fret over it of course we didn't leave even one shell casing...."

"....make sure not to say you wanted full custody don't give us away...."

"......we knew it was the right time doing it while she's too young to remember.... "

"....it really wasn't suppose to be more than 2 or 3 shots... "

"....well what do you expect? I shoot to kill....."

"....do you think Reader knows it's us?"

" .....doesn't matter they know it's us they can't prove none of it...... "

".......they think we did it but they'll never find a gun that matches up...no blood on burnt clothes......"

" ......we agreed to not talk about it....you'll end up getting us all arrested.... work that night stays just between us..... "

"......don't say a word around the kids they can't never find out...it was for her own good but she'd never forgive me...... "

IIRC, DS said he saw the remnants of it. If accurate, that means the Wags stole most of the plants. They also probably robbed KR for any cash he had. Maybe it wasn't enough, so they left the bills scattered around the crime scene.
I respectfully disagree.

No, he said he found marijuana plants. I also doubt the wags stole any, as the plants were still growing (no bud on them).

We should start doing some preparation, getting organized again. I'm going to finish my case summary to put at the beginning of the thread.

A while back, I asked Tricia to have a mod create a separate sub forum for the Pike County Murders. Once the trials begin, it will be rather complicated to keep everything organized, especially if they all have separate trials.

Can you guys offer some suggestions for how to organize a sub-forum if we get one? What subject threads would you like to see. Usually the existing series of General Discussion threads are posted within the sub forum. The Media & Timelines thread will be incorporated (I think) into the sub as well.

TIA
From following other cases here on WS, those that have been organized into sub-forums, just to name a couple, Heather Elvis and AJ Hadsell, a lot of us posters lost interest in following the threads because they were too difficult and too time consuming to try and keep track of and keep up to date on them all. However, once the trials start for all of the W's, then possibly a sub-forum for each family member for us posters to follow separately regarding their trial information only, may be helpful? But again, IMO, in other cases it has made things much more difficult to follow because instead of following and reading one thread, the next thing you know, you are trying to follow and read 6 plus or more and I know I'm not the only one that has felt this way. Possibly Tricia will run this idea by the posters to maybe get an idea of what everyone's feelings are about it.

Again, this is all JMO.

Did you by chance, follow the Chris Newsome/Channon Christian trials? There were at least 4 accused with separate trials and it appears that WS didn't use sub-forums for each trial. I was just curious if you know if that worked out better than the trials that you mentioned. I followed those trials but I wasn't on WS at the time.

Thanks for your input! We're just seeking some kind of remedy as this is a special case involving

8 murder victims
4 crime scenes
4 defendants who will be tried separately on death penalty charges
a minimum of 22 charges for each of the 4 defendants
2 additional defendants charged with obstruction of justice, perjury and forgery, among other things
6 trials
2-4 prosecutors
16 defense attorneys

It's a lot to keep track of. Details of each case, interviews, evidence, news stories, etc. get mixed up or forgotten. Most of the major details and evidence of the 8 murders are still unknown at this point.

The little we've seen thus far of evidence summaries in discovery reveals a staggering amount of evidence, electronic and otherwise. Hundreds of voice mail messages, texts, dozens of pages of cell phone call records, etc.

That isn't the Oxygen Network, it is Oxygen.com. I don't know what the difference is for sure.
I hope it is better than this:
2 Grandmothers Also Charged In Connection To Ohio Family Murder

IMO, the media has fallen extremely short in following these murders from day one. Now all of sudden, there are arrests with overwhelming evidence and trials being discussed, and most of the media doesn't even know the difference in HR and HG, much less all the George's. Shame on the Media!

Yes, I agree with there being 8 murder victims in this case as compared to the other threads that have had sub-forums and it will be a lot to keep track of. That's why I did mention that maybe a sub-forum for trial of each family member charged (the 4 W's especially) as I personally don't think trials are going to amount to much on the 2 with forgery charges, etc. JMO

Agree. Uninformed media that hasn't done their homework nor understands the case is vulnerable to being played by the defense.

Also, why is Oxygen calling them the "Piketon Family Murders"? The family that was murdered is the Rhoden family, not the "Piketon Family". Yet they managed to get the name and spelling correct of the Wagner family defense attorney.

No, I did not follow those.

I'm just wondering if anyone has started jotting names down as to who State's witnesses may include? Not asking anyone to share those names.

I have 8 on my list so far. Also believe 2 of them were GJ witnesses. Just thinking and hope you are, too. Not including RN or FW, as we know they were GJ witnesses.

Are these names you're just guessing or have you seen a list somewhere?

JMO, some are pretty logical:

James Manley
Len Manley
Bobbi Jo Manley
Donald Stone
Kendra Rhoden
Robin Wagner
Tony Rhoden
Geneva Rhoden
GW3's ex girlfriend/baby mama
LE who were at the crime scenes that day
Pike County Coroner and the ME from Cincinnati/Hamilton County
FBI/ATF or other experts who examined the silencer found in the bottom of the well
BCI techs who conducted DNA and other evidence testing
Employees of Flying W Ranch

Just to name a few

Don’t forget CG who was the father of HMR newborn at the time.
Don’t forget CR as she was there the night before.
