Jmo but if the vests were bought after the murders and from eBay instead of Amazon the charges will probably be dropped because that could very well be a case of a mistake and not intentional lying Jmo. The state wasn’t sure when the were brought or they knew it was not possible for them to have been used that night and that is why they were not included in the Wagner’s indictments. Jmo

Jmo yes that Could be possible, but also think about how scared people were that didn’t even know the R and lived in area and think how scared people were that did know and had relations to them. The sheriff stated to the public arm yourself. It may be a lie but it also could be true. Jmo

I am not understanding what seems to me to be justifying a legal charge of 'sex with a minor' (OR however it is worded in the indictment).

Could someone please explain to me why it is OK for a 15 year old to have sex with a 20 year old? It is in the indictment.

I am not trying to be difficult either. I think we are supposed to follow the legal laws.

I did have the numerical number wrong with JW and it should be 2950.

It concerned me when I heard (not on here) some people say that a 15 year old getting pregnant by a 20 year old is 'typical for the area' so there's nothing there. I believe that it is unacceptable. It doesn't matter to me about their parent's ages or anything else. We are a progressive society, should abide by the laws especially regarding child sex with an adult and we don't make special sex laws or certain provisions or exceptions for any particular region.

I know that the people in that area, do not want their daughters/sons having sex with an adult.

It is my belief that when a 15 year old girl has consensual sex with a 20 year old man it is a crime. It is not the girl's fault. She is a child. The 20 year old man is an adult and knows better than to indulge in sex with a child, therefore he is guilty of a crime and is a sexual predator. He is a pedophile.

Would any of you claiming it is "typical for the area" feel different if it was a 13 year old girl having consensual sex with a 50 year old man? Or a 15 year old with a 40 year old man?

Two 15 year old kids having sex might be a "mistake" since neither of them are old enough to know how risky that behavior is but a 20 year old man does know and should have walked away. That is why it is a crime in this country.

One thing I noted in this article is the pictures of Fred and Angie. Fred and Angie so closely resemble that Angie looks like she could be Fred's daughter. Anyone else think this is weird?

She is not really talking about the case but about how she is being treated and how religious she is and how her son was so close to Chris. Not one single word of sympathy for the victims or their family or how sad she is that her son's "best friend" was killed. Narcissist.

The bit about ISIS was laughable. ISIS comes all the way to the US just to kill a nondescript non politically connected family in the backwoods of rural Appalachia. Targeted them no less. She could have said Martians from outer space did it and been just as believable.

One if the accused is charged with a sex offense. One theory is HMRs parents would have hated JW because their daughter was underage when became pregnant.

I tend to think that it's not the case given the history of the family.

Yes, and why two vests, both for....her son Billy why only Billy? It would have made more sense to but a vest for Jake. Her story has too many holes in it.
My opinion, if the timing on the purchase of vests is accurate, then I think the vests were for the purpose of protection during possible future retaliation on others, as the indictments describe.
