An article came out in a local paper the summer of 2016 that said Chris Sr. was shot through a "wall or a door". Then the "wall or a door" part was quickly redacted and the article was again put out with that statement missing. I actually linked an Imgur image on here of the original article and have been trying to find it. It's always possible my post was deleted because my article came from an Imgur image.

That is how the "rumor" of Chris being shot through a door started. Likely a family member shared the information and LE did not want that information shared and had the editor delete it.

Same with April Manley's original interview/article. In the original local article, April stated that James went into Dana's and saw her legs lying on the floor and heard Kylie crying and bolted out of the house because "he didn't want to see his niece like that." If Dana had been in bed he would have went in to see Kylie because she was crying, he would not have known "his niece was like that."

The part about James seeing Dana's legs was redacted from the local article and the article was reposted without that statement.

I don't think thy ever said Dana was on the floor. She just said he saw her legs and backed out. I read another version, supposedly by a relative on a source we can link to, that said he went in her bedroom and she had a pillow on her face and he picked up the pillow and knew there was nothing that could be done. Your right, the article might not have mentioned Dana lying on the floor but it did mention James seeing her legs. Hard to remember the exact wording. My opinion is that she was lying in the room where the main entrance door is, according to photos it's the living room.

It's only my opinion that she heard noise at the front door, walked in that direction, then was ambushed while she was standing up, thus she fell to the floor. To shoot someone underneath their chin they would need to be standing up, or its most likely they were standing.

You could be onto something because DeWine did say that. However, Sheriff Reader said he thought the killers would watch it.

Then DeWine and Angela Canepa clarified that the marijuana found on Rhoden properties was for commercial grow, and they were found at only 2 residences. One at Kenny's and one at Chris Senior's. (Adding this on because everyone thinks the grows were at 3 locations when it was only 2)

Bottom line? I think, especially since Jake was being interviewed that day, that at the one year murder investigation "anniversary" both Reader and DeWine saw the Wagner's as actual suspects....2 Cents.....

I have the same questions. They are charging her with forgery tho. It would seem to me that the state believes that she forged HR's name in early April (regardless of when she notarized it). I don't know (or even have an opinion) if she knew her family committed the murders or not. I tend to believe AW relied more on her dad than her mom but I could wrong.

I'm with you. The smirk Dewine gave led me to think there was a reason why they may not be watching THAT press conference. Reason could have been Jake was being interviewed. It was not long after that things became active with more W interviews and searches. Jmo

IMO she may have been in a recliner to either check her text messages an/or watch tv to unwind after a long day. She may have fallen asleep in the recliner and the noise of the tv would mask any noise before and after her shooting. That would be easy to put the gun under her chin. Idk why I think this but I’ve always thought DR died first in the recliner then HMR then CRJr. Not sure why I came to that conclusion other than to explain seeing her feet when the door was opened. Guess we’ll find out soon.

Agree, and that's a lot of purchases for the time period. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more than 1 family member using the same account. It probably has Fred's credit card linked to the account. Family members just log in and buy what they need and the bill goes to Fred's account.

One could be for example, her home account, and the other, a farm account. My family kept the two things separate.

It was also while the families were at the 1 yr memorial service that LE took the opportunity to go to the Manley home and plant the GPS tracking device on James Manley's truck. Nice.

Yes VERY active---SWAT team, BCI, Law Enforcement Agencies from Franklin, Adams, and Pike Counties searching 3 properties, groups of agents walking with metal detectors and standing under a tent, trailers emptied and contents scattered, searching for 2 days on a Friday and Saturday, police vehicles parked on the roads and all over the properties, properties encircled with yellow crime scene tape. Including Fred's farm and house, releasing some of her horses and tearing the place up according to her.

And 2 interviews with Jake and interviews with Angela and GW3. All of this just in the month of May 2017, marking the one year anniversary of the murders. The searches came 4 days after the Wagner's were interviewed that month. Hope we can find out what they said because....OOPS.... it looks like they may have said something incriminating.

I still wonder where they were at that time. Back then, I assumed they were already on their way to or had arrived in AK. After seeing some recent evidence, it looks like they were still in town, possibly at that hotel down near Lucasville that showed up the other day where trash was later searched. Will have to go back to look for the name. Need to add this to the timeline.

I do agree Betty. I'm wondering if the Alaska "vacation" trip maye have occurrd earlier than we may have been led to believe. Just because Jake eluded to them being on vacation via social media, does not mean that's when the photos were actually taken.
The Jackson Days Inn trash search 6/8/17 was after the big searches in May but before the Bethel Hill rd search on 7/13/17. I wonder what they pitched at the hotel?

I also wonder if Montana was search warrants for July 2017. If they are, it appears two were executed and one was not. Was this part of the stop along the way to Alaska but possibly one trailer was no longer with them or one of the three vehicles took a different route from the others for some reason?
