I've never known hunters to use a BPV, and the only horsemen I've seen with anything resembling a vest is the 'flak' vest bull/bronc riders use in rodeos. Not a true flak vest, but more of a padded vest, like stuntmen use.

Doesn't make sense because it's fantasy.

I know of only one person, who has a BPV, who isn't a LEO. They neither ride horses, nor hunt. I was afraid it would end up getting the individual killed w/their newfound thought that he was now, 6' tall and bulletproof.

Although I've not seen them used in hunting, or in horse barns, myself, there are specific body protection/armor type vests for hunters/joggers/ and for those participating in equestrian events, or just going to the office and back.

However, FW has already said why the two vests were ordered; they were ordered for G3's protection, b/c she feared for his safety, since he and CR1 were friends. There's no way for the defense to backpeddle, and say they bought them to use them while hunting, or participating in equestrian events.

unless there is evidence these BPVs were used in the murders, they won't be useful in the conviction of the W4. JMO

There are good reasons for having them, remember the Sheriff's call to defend oneself. It's a personal choice like owning defensive weapons.

Why having just 2? Well, there are plenty of reasons. One likes them, the other not. They are expansive, ...and so on.

I do hope there is more to the perjury case against FW than just that. She is of a certain age, it's normal not to remember every detail. I am much younger than her, i don't keep receipts for items. Ebay or Amazon, I receive the item by mail, I might not remember.

Agree.

I can see a woman of FW's age, being forgetful. I can also see FW not having a lot to do with ordering things on her accounts. If people order a lot , they will often have their accounts set to auto login, so you don't have to have a password on hand (especially if one is forgetful). If FW's account(s) was set up that way, anyone with access, could have ordered the vests and had them delivered to the PO Box. She may not have put them in the online "shopping basket", but it would appear that way.

:confused:Why do they do that? In court right now the camera man zoomed in on a lady's face up close and personal and showed her chewing gum then taking the gum out of her mouth then putting it back in etc....
Too invasive, we don't need to see the pores on someone's face. Rant complete.

EDIT: And why is the sound turned off?

#2 EDIT: Ok. Sound finally turned back on!o_O

For the last part, I definitely agree. Normal people would do normal things like that. Normal and this family have never been introduced, I don't think. They were living on her land, and probably off her most of the time anyway. That's why I said hire security. If she were truly worried for the reasons she gave, none of what she did is logical.

At the time of the murders, they were not living on her land. The 4Ws had been living on Peterson since 2/2015. G3 moved into his room at his mother's home, to help out with his father, who was very ill, around the time the vests were purchased. They didn't move back in with FW after coming back from AK, either. They were living in AW's father's home, in Scioto County (that's where AW was arrested).

Does anyone know who the man is sitting next to Geneva?

So you are telling me that if you pay 1000.00 for something on Ebay or Amazon you are not going to know what you bought? You are going to forget what you spent that 1000.00 on?

JMO

The total of the order was $1,000, she probably didn't remember how much the vests cost out of that order, ($664.98 for both), or maybe even which order they were placed on. That is one very large farm. They probably have a lot of online orders. Whether she ordered them herself or not, I'm on the fence.

Did you pay 1000.00 for those cables? Did you know exactly what you were ordering and what they would be used for? If the cables had cost 1000.00 would you have paid a bit more attention to what you ordered and where you ordered them from in case they got lost in shipping and you had to call the company and find out why your cables didn't arrive? Or you had to return them for a refund because the company sent you the wrong ones?

Those BPVs cost 1000.00 according to Fred in her testimony. She didn't forget where she ordered them. She didn't know where they were bought because she didn't buy them. Simple as that. And the minute she said she did she committed perjury and by trying to cover for Billy who probably ordered them and used her account she was obstructing justice.

That's why IMO AC was smiling when Owen argued his "I guess I did, I thought I did" buy them "15 days after the murders" "Amazon, Ebay" defense. Because it's not about where she bought them or when she bought them, it's about her saying she was the one who bought them in the first place.

JMO
How does lying about the purchase place aid the son? What difference does it make where they came from?

Things like them being replacement purchases, or the son using her account to buy them are all assuming things not in evidence.

On the face she it appears the lie is where they were bought. Even if she lied and said they came from amazon when they really came for eBay, means nothing, has no effect on guilt or innocence. So it doesn’t help the son.

Unless there is way more to her testimony that wasn’t disclosed in the evidence I see nothing that affects the trial at all.

I have no preconceived notions about her or her family. I only have what is documented to go by. Unless I missed it it has never been alleged by the state that the son used her computer to make the purchase, or has it? I maybe missed something. The volume of posts here makes it hard for me to keep up sometimes

On the transcript released the state doesn’t indicate they are looking at her for lying that the purchase was made by her.

I thought Billy looked nicer today than he has been. Cleaner.

Owen must have too much free time since he could attend BW's hearing today. And who's all the W clan supporters that showed up today all of a sudden?

Remember a poster saying a while back that we were going to be seeing some new faces in the courtroom soon?
