He may also left it unlocked if he were expecting DS to show up as DS said he was supposed to do that night. Unless an added lock was installed, those campers are not that hard to breech. Do we know for certain that the cameras were physically taken or could they have only interfered with the image/audio capture function, transmission of data to storage device, or rendered the cams useless? If so, depending upon the device and data storage, a cam can be rendered in seconds.

Are security cameras/trail cams normally mounted at eye level or are they perched up higher?
I ask because I wonder if they would have needed ladders to reach the cams.
Also what is the power source for the cameras?

How do you think they got all the trail cameras from around the hillside, does anyone think they might have had more than 4 people involved? Just saying if you’re trying to cover all your tracks you got to have enough lookouts JMO

Two members of the Pike County Sheriff's Office remove video from Union Hill Church, up the road from the crime scenes. The video was sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation's London, Ohio, crime laboratory.

They say the foursome used countersurveillance devices to search the Rhoden properties to see where video cameras might be recording their own movements or picking up their sounds.

Angela’s discovery reference electronics recovered at 5 2 Havener and Flying W, and we have from Billy’s discovery a burnt VCR.

We also have video or image recovery in Angela's discovery.

My opinion is they started searching for cameras before that night. I think they took at least some. The ones on the corner of his building could have been recording and wired to the VCR. My guess is if they took the VCR or surveillance storage device there may not have been a need to climb up and get those specific cameras. Just a guess JMO

There is no specific article that comes right out and says that Billy and Chris Senior got into a fight. However, Sheriff Reader did say that LE discovered that there were 2 unreported fights before the murders and it's said within the context of involving the Rhoden family.

Also, I do remember reading an article that stated that both Billy and Jake went to the Rhodens to discuss custody. I do not expect anyone to take what I say as fact unless or until I can find the articles and link them.

I can look for the articles if anyone is interested in reading them. I wish I had known that I would want to access the articles now, 3 years on. Can you believe it's now been 3 years?

My 2 Cents... Yes LM was referencing only Sophia. Paternity had not yet been established for Kylie and custody depended on the paternity DNA test results.

And I do not for a minute think Jake thought (as he had stated)
there was a 50/50 chance he was Kylie's dad. Lies......Hanna getting pregnant by another man was a driving force in the murders.

Jake said he thought it was just a phase for Hanna (their break up) and she'd come back to him. Fred said she considered them married, quite telling in her interview.

So it does seem "off " that she did not mention the custody dispute and the more I look into it the more it appears that quite a few people knew about it, or knew the Rhoden/Wagner relationship had soured.

How high was the security cameras mounted? I have normally seen them mounted high enough to prevent people from easily messing with them jmo

I find this comment something to think about.

In those documents and in interviews with The Enquirer, Jake and Angela Wagner said Hanna and Sophia lived with them at their former Peebles farm off and on after Sophia was born. The couple lived with Hanna’s mother when they weren’t living with the Wagners.

Where was DR and family living before they moved to her new home a month prior to the murders? If she was living with FR and family, is JW saying he was staying there, too? That would make FR, HG, DR, HR, JW, CRjr, and three little kids in one mobile home. I'm not saying it is impossible but...
