Old wells are usually relatively close to the living structure, correct? I wish there was a way to see the old property surveys from Peterson Road. I personally have always thought it was no coincidence the new barn was erected just weeks after the murders. From photos, the barn appears to have a dirt floor. Is it possible the Wagners secured and then covered the well with fresh dirt and then built the barn over it? It seems far fetched. I just feel as if the well was hidden and someone came across it in October 2018.

First time posting although I have followed this tragedy from day 1. Have you ever looked on vintageaerial.com? I looked up the Peterson Rd address however I'm on my phone and can't see it well at all. Maybe someone on a computer could spot a well?

Agree. I think Johnny B has a good point, though. Even if close range, there would still be victim DNA on the silencer. I wonder if that had still been preserved by the time LE finally found it? Actually, the victims' DNA would have been on all the weapons used, killer's clothing, etc. Awful to think about - just a bloodbath.

That's always been interesting to me - what information did they get that finally directed them to the location of the silencer part? I'm very glad someone came forward or figured out a new place to look. We don't know yet what happened but will find out.

I have a theory about a jailhouse snitch who was in jail in Oct and was out on bail the day after the silencer was found. Coincidence, I think not. Btw, the said subject ended with charges dropped. This is just my theory only.

Johnny I think so too. There was some murders that happened before the R's that had a lot of similar features. And one of them, I think the N one had a connection to Hannah as the daughter and her were friends on SM. I really do think the W's were into something illegal like drug trafficking or sales and took out anyone who crossed them. Of course this is all JMO and I can't prove any of it but I hope LE took a long look at all the unsolved murders in the area.

JMO
JMO, I’ve long thought the N murders were a “test run”, as disturbing as that sounds. This is also JMO but I believe the N family thinks the two cases are unrelated.

Does anyone know the specific Pike County address that FW lived in first? She testified 40 years in Pike but 35 years in FWF and 5 years at another address in Pike County? I am just trying to figure this out.

that’s difficult to figure out because she has notoriously used a PO BOX as her addresses. It would be easy to narrow now if FW didn’t own such a vast amount of properties in PC, but property searches of her name bring back many addresses because of her large property ownership. JMO.

Thanks. I still don't know how she accumulated so much land and credit at 36. MOO.

I thought someone posted some info here a while back about their previous home. It could have been posted in the last month or so. Someone did recently mention locations in Brown or Adams County.

As I have relatives buried in Mount Etna Cemetery on Bethel Hill Road, and an elderly aunt
always wants to go there during the Fall months. On our last visit, she mentioned all the
tire marks and thought it was strange because everything is so forlorn in the area. The
weeds on both sides of the road showed areas of being crushed. Looks to me, as if several
areas were searched again.

Just a hunch, but maybe some of the evidence (besides BPVs) against Billy is linked to things he purchased through her various online shopping accounts, as Fresca suggested. Maybe Owen attends Billy's hearing to see if something comes up about his discovery info.

ETA: Yes, there's still a lot of discovery remaining to be done, according to FW's lawyer's motion. Not sure how much, he may be exaggerating in his recent motion. FW's upcoming trial may reveal a lot about the other 4 Wags.
Thankx Betty. I agree. That Billy purchased through her on line shopping accounts. In fact think about it, it makes total sense that he would do that, so good call! We shall see. At the end of next month we shall see.:)....What do we need to do? Be patient! The truth will be revealed. I really appreciate all of you to still be here to see this through till the end. It matters.....YES......We all will stay to the end .....JUSTICE............;):)

Someone did say Brown or Adams County. She said Pike County 'down the road or something like that".

I might be missing something but I don't know how she could testify to 5 years in Pike County if she was living in another county.

I could be wrong tho.

I don't want to go back to find your post but I believe that you said that 'someone' liked to take photos involved in this case. Who were you talking about (if I can be so bold)?

You misunderstood my answer. FCW roots are in Brown County, Ohio. Junior's were
in Adams County, Ohio. After they married, they lived out of the area for a short
period of time. When they started to earn, the majority of the land was purchased.
They lived on portion of the farm, and when they were able, the home was build and
Flying W Farms added more land and buildings.

This article has some info on how they eventually purchased the farm

Fredericka Wagner: A look at her property and assets

According to the original incorporation paperwork, filed in 1976, R. Edward Tepe, Debra S. Harrell and L.G. Behymer started Flying W Farms Inc. with $500. They appointed Fredericka Wagner as its agent on April 15, 1976. Those documents were signed in Cincinnati.

I wonder if the business contacts were from Cincinnati?

For some reason I thought of night vision goggles. These come in a huge price range ($30 to $4,000), and I wonder if the W4 tried to be thrifty and NOT destroy them after the murders, assuming they would not get caught. The good ones look cumbersome, some mount to a helmet. Jmo

With all the traveling to different locations since the massacre, why would anyone
leave evidence at their homeplace. Pure insanity.

Read a comment by an LEO years ago. He said if criminals were as smart as they think they are, none would get caught.

You are right. They all think they are too smart to get caught.

IIRC, I think she said it was on Loy's Run.
