But you don't think there's any chance she would willingly testify for the prosecution do you?
I'm wondering if what she's struggling with is how much the 4 and her support for them is costing her?? That's the only thing that I think might persuade her to talk is financial incentive.
I am not sure if I can explain this correctly. Let me make it clear up front that I do not want to offend anyone.
If it were me I would not support my son, DIL or grandsons if I believed or suspected they might have been involved in killing 8 people. My people do not believe in destroying life. It would be the hardest thing I ever did but I would turn over to LE whatever knowledge I had. They wouldn't have to ask. I would volunteer it. For me, it is not a question of loyalty, it is a question of conscience, of belief.
At this time the only thing Fred has been proven guilty of is wearing a snood to court.
So if Fred is as devout a Christian as she has maintained she is, and she has given us plenty of proof for her to say that she trying to walk the same walk Jesus did, then she has to be struggling with the knowledge in the discovery that her attorney obtained. The knowledge that there is evidence that her son and family was involved in killing 8 people in their sleep. I think that knowledge showed in her interview and that "
I am innocent." No added comment of
"My son and his family is innocent." as before she and her attorney got the discovery from the prosecution. But we will see what she does in any coming interviews she might give.
Then there is the added factor of her other son and daughter and her other son's family. Will they want her to lie and risk everything she owns to defend Billy? We don't know the dynamics of the W family. We only know the facts.
The fact is her older son broke away and started his own business. His reputation and his business that he supports his family with depends on his good name. Her older son has several children so will he stand behind his brother and family to the detriment of his own? There is also the fact that he has only shown up in court once and that was at Fred's hearing. He has never shown up for Billy or any of his family.
The fact is her daughter works exclusively for the business that Fred established and probably has her entire life. I doubt that Robin has the education or skills to find another job if Fred lies and bets the farm on Billy's innocence. If FWF goes down in a civil suit against Fred then that leaves Robin with no job, no husband, no children to support herself. Will Robin allow her mother to risk everything to defend Billy? But the fact is Robin has shown up at every single hearing.
Fred has stoutly maintained in interviews that she has not, and will not lie. So if I was AC I would subpoena her as a witness for the prosecution.
But
my personal belief is there is nothing that goes on in that family that Fred does not know about. But we will see if Fred gives another interview.
