I still want to know what these were. I don't think family members would be referencing the pot grows so what were the R's and W's shared business interests?

Thankx @RAISINISBACK . I apologize for over-reacting to your post a few days ago. My sister passed and I'm so stressed trying to pay everything and distribute everything fairly as executor of her estate ("I want her grill", "I want her jewelry", "a pipe burst in her house fix it "Cool Cats!", " her mortgage payment is due" "you need to pay it "Cool Cats!" " You better pay it!!! ETC"...) She was divorced with no kids and I'm her only sibling. I was just too emotional to even be posting, the thread isn't about me! I like your posts and look forward to many more posts from you and all the other posters on here.

JMO, whatever business they were in is irrelevant to the murder case. Nothing can justify the murders of 8 people in their sleep. Given what appears to be a vast amount of digital information from phone calls, texts, etc. combined with the surveillance of the family, hacking of their computers and cell phones, the information retrieved from the silencer is icing on the cake. Add in DNA evidence and forging of custody documents, it's going to be hard to convince a jury the Wagners are innocent.

Dewine had said that family and friends were lying to them and I believe that he was referring to the Rhoden/Manley families. Perhaps someone in the family finally came clean to prevent their own arrest for illegal dealings. Dewine also said that there was an undercurrent in drugs revolving around this case so perhaps it also goes to motive. For me the question is was it just the cannabis or was it narcotics/meth as well. I think we will find out plenty about the illegal dealings of some of the Rhodens during the trials beyond the commercial cannabis grows.

Did you know the R's personally?

I just don't think we know enough at this time about the character, lives or personalities of any of the victims to make a to make a blanket statement that they "lived by the sword" or that they had a propensity for solving their problems with violence.

By making that statement you are placing yourself as judge and jury of the R's.

It is nothing more than character assassination of the victims by you.

So many misleading statements in there, I don't know where to start.

Rhodens solved their problems with violence? Please provide a link to back up your statement. See if you can find anything more substantive than teenage kids arguing and fighting. TIA

Drugs - LE searched the properties and everything the Rhodens owned with a fine-tooth comb. They were quick to blast the news media with the news they found "grow ops". The size and sophistication of those grow ops in debatable, we'll find out soon enough.

There's no evidence of that.
You can check how much they had over at the Pike County Probate Court web site. Other than some life insurance policies, cars/equipment and the real estate on UHR (some of which was mortgaged), there were no other assets. Any MJ they had was destroyed by LE. Amounts and estimates of value have varied wildly. Let's wait until the trial to learn more details.

DEA and Dept. of Homeland Security investigated and determined there was no involvement in a drug ring or international drug cartel.

Had these investigations uncovered a stash of cash on the property or in some overseas bank accounts, it would have been reported in the news media. In fact, all LE stated in the news media was that it wasn't about drugs, it was about murders.

Despite widespread reports that the Rhoden family had been involved in farming and trafficking marijuana, DeWine said he did not believe the drug trade had fomented the murders.

I'm wondering if what she's struggling with is how much the 4 and her support for them is costing her?? That's the only thing that I think might persuade her to talk is financial incentive.

One article was published about Chris Jr. and Frankie getting into a fight. The person they fought with made it sound like they fight all the time but it's just hearsay from that one person. That person classified them as violent and the journalist used the term "Violent Rhoden Brothers" in the headline.

There is no proof in MSM that the Rhodens were violent. In fact, 99% of the articles posted say different, very different:

After all, FW did state Billy was best friends with CRSr. It is my opinion that the Wagners were working hard to lead the Rhodens down the same road of destruction they (Ws) had been on for years, and CRSR put a stop to it. First of all there seems to be a big problem with our justice system when people continually get released when they are guilty.

AW could say she was at Walmart shopping to sell shoes on eBay and make money. If she did have a eBay sellers account that would look good for her and could put some doubt in the jury
