I remember that now. Was it listed in any of the discoveries? I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm going to have to re-read all the discoveries. So. Much. Data.
Jmo probably not why, but in the area phones go out and can be out for weeks before they are fixed. Many times we took a telephone to our box to see if it was the line outside or inside (of course not to pole), but if we had one it would have been nice. Prior to wireless towers, we actually had two phone lines with two different phone numbers (because of the wonderful dialup) and they were in the same house, but ran from different parts of the line. I know this because one line would be out and the other worked. The phones go out as often as it rains. Cell service is horrible without wireless internet. Jmo

Sorry I replied to wrong quote

Is it safe to assume a lot of people out in Pike County still have landlines, in case the cell phone reception is bad? Flying W probably still had a land line, just a guess.

Yah, I get what your saying. I remember my aunt's party lines on her phone on her farm.

Been there back in the day. Some folks, here, still had party lines up to almost Y2K.

There was discussion many threads back about a "lineman phone" collected during the search at FWF and members associated it with Discovery about long-term surveillance of Rhoden-family communications. It was like being able to listen to phone conversations like in the "party-line" days. The lineman phone didn't even need to be close - just within in a mile or so, then tap into the lines at a telephone pole.
This thing is called a "Butt Set". It's just a little telephone, all in the handset. It has long leads and sort of funny alligator clips on the end. No magic here, just a common tool.

I to think the same, Jake was a scorn lover that could not stand CG post of him and Hanna kissing and telling Charley how much she loved & missed him, somewhere around 11 days after Hanna posted the pictures and video on CG site Jake posted a picture of two hand guns that looked just like the ones in Boondocks Saints movie, that probably drove Jake crazy, I would post the link but it is of another site that can’t be posted on here, I already tried, again this is Just My Opinion.

That is very interesting that Jake posted a pic of two handguns. Does anyone know if HR was JW first girlfriend?

Even if she is listed in the discovery docs?

We can't discuss anyone in the discovery docs unless they are mentioned in MSM or become part of court record by taking the witness stand.

A lot of them just happened to get their phones searched and are probably shocked to see themselves even listed in discovery. Like the journalist who had written many articles on the Rhodens and was surprised to get a letter (written June 9th 2017) saying her wire, oral and electronic communication had been intercepted.

Because, they were intercepting all of the Wagner's electronic/wire/oral communications. She interviewed them when they were in Alaska as well as in Ohio.

This letter greeted me a couple days ago from the great state of Ohio. Even tho cops and the AG himself weren’t calling the folks I was talking to suspects, they were intercepting their calls - including with me in the pursuit of journalism. Where do we live again? #pikecounty

Has anyone seen the video on YouTube of the girl from Alaska saying she married Jake?

Hi Nanasteele! Welcome to Websleuths! Hope you like it here. :)

Unfortunately, we can't look into or discuss the woman you refer to here in the forum. See the WS Rules. Hope you stick around though and discuss this case.

I'd suggest you ask the Mods.
I don’t want to discuss her but I thought we could discuss if we refrained from using names

I understand, but you'll have to ask the Mods in this situation. It's complicated. She was not involved with the family at the time of the crimes and hasn't been named as a POI. Just click on a report button and send them a message to see what they think.

Thank you, I have been watching the case since day 1. I so want justice for those 4 babies.

Agree! Justice for all the Rhodens and Hannah Gilley. No one deserves to be brutally murdered in their bed over a custody dispute, or for any reason.

I am looking for the discovery documents and thought I would find links at the beginning of this thread but they weren't there. I see that you mentioned re-reading them. Would you happen to have the links to them?

Check the front page of this thread for a link to "Media & Timelines" thread. You'll find many of them posted there, along with links to some that were posted in online files. Hope that helps!

Did you find them, okay? They are toward the end of the Media & Timeline Pages.
