I don't like where my mind is going with that. Not that I'm suspicious of Stone but I'm seriously afraid to hear more info on the crime scenes. I fear it's much worse than we all can imagine

Maybe he was at the bottom of the stairs and he looked up to see a wounded person at the top of the stairs.

This all happened in the early morning hours. Somebody was partying and doing drugs. Somebody got mad.

Somebody got in a fight and decided to seek revenge.

This is pure theory on my part but please indulge me in my 'what if'...

Gary or Kenneth or both are possibly from the Greenup, KY area which is just South across the river. What if there were a connection there. Gary (and Kenneth?) come up from KY ... or possibly Gary comes up from KY to visit Kenneth?

Maybe the perps came to Ohio for whatever reason either with Gary and/or Kenneth or came to Ohio in search of them?

Perhaps they came from KY to Ohio on a cross border drug trade. Maybe Gary/Kenneth screwed somebody over big and the perps chased them to Ohio. Maybe it was just a couple of "friends" and Gary came up to party on the big Dogwood festival weekend (homecoming of sorts in that area...).

For whatever reason the "friends" became the perps. Drug deal gone bad? Meth induced fight? Found out about money or drugs and decided to rob. Was looking for them to extract revenge ... again, who knows.

If the two men were indeed beat and then shot in the head, that sounds as if someone was trying to get an answer to some question. "where's the drugs/money". or possibly in the case of meth party gone bad just because meth needs no reason...

eta...this could explain why LEO is not concerned about an active shooter in the area that would be armed and dangerous...

Sorry, just some more disjointed thoughts ... all moo.

Right. I've not been able to conclude definitively if her current boyfriend is the father. The baby has a father somewhere, though. And I'm still wondering where he is and why the baby is not with him. (I'm stubborn that way ).

Regarding the 911 call where the woman identifies two people...
Was she able to identify one person by name but not the other? Was one of the victims from out of town (Kentucky)? Is this call believed to be the last of the victims?

I am guessing that investigators have a lot of pieces to put together to determine the sequence of events. I am curious if one of the dead was the shooter and that possibly the last victim was wounded but was able to kill the perp before they died.

Thanks! I'm curious... I apologize if this takes the thread too far off topic (although who knows if it is off topic) - in your opinion, do you think there would have to have been an underlying grudge (or something) against the family? (I'm thinking of the two very different locations - 3 homes together and 1 further away. I guess I could wrap my head around it better if it was just the 3 homes - easy access. Why 'travel'?).

I just keep thinking that whoever wanted to kill every last one of them. End of a generation. Start clean with the younger family. Clean slate? It was hatred to do this.
