Anyone else find the date March 21, 2016 interesting?? Isn't this the EXACT DATE CR1 bought Dana's new house in cash?!?!?

Well, so much for dreaming about red barns and tow trucks. This is getting creepier than I anticipated.

I was all into how suspicious DS was. I was reading up on family annihilators today. I'm not sure this incident has the same characteristics.

I think Chris Sr is the first link. I think he probably got his sons inadvertently involved in whatever he got mixed up in before he realized the full extent of what that was exactly. I think he may have confided in his brother and cousin trying to figure a way out. They offered to help him figure a way out of it and whoever was in charge of whatever "this was" took notice of it and wiped them all out. The women were likely collateral damage or had information that would lead LE straight to them. That's my theory for now anyway.

That's pretty much my theory. They got in over their heads, whatever it is they were involved in. Probably the mj grow operations.

Cannabis operation = Cash

I'll add to that:
Multiple front business companies = money laundering

Good theory. And I think CR1 trusted the wrong people. (Outside of family)

My theory is similar, however I think Kenneth got Chris into the mess. He is the older brother and hangs out with some shady people- living the life of a typical middle aged drug user. Kenneth got divorced in 2007 and so did Chris shortly after. I think Chris was following his older brother and it ended up getting all of them killed. Of course this is all JMHO. I feel like Gary was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and the kids and Dana were killed because they could have been potential witnesses.

Maybe the youngest victim got into an altercation with a group or gang. Maybe he backed his car over or into one of them. Maybe they followed him home and got punked out by the older generation. Entire family was threatened and were all executed later.

Except the babies.

Sadly, that's probably the simplest solution but there's no arrest. Thanks for bringing me back to reality. We don't know "nothin".

eta, but I'm sure some do already. Not me.

I have family that lives in Pike County, I'm on a need to know basis. They don't know any of them so it's for my peace of mind & letting them know what the heck is going on. That's all.

Maybe need DNA and fingerprint evidence from back of vehicle. In fact if the vehicle had been surrounded by a gang of guys they may have banged on it a little, leaving finger and palm prints.

I'm about an hour away. It's a small world. Everybody knows somebody....

I hope they get them soon.

What are the chances prints would survive on the outside of a car for maybe 2 weeks?

But, if those fingerprints end up being on anything anywhere else, like the house or barns/shed/cannibis found elsewhere, that would seal it. jmo Dealing with multiple people murdered and probably one or more assailants sure requires a lot of work. Phone pings etc..Should be an answer soon, I hope. Not bringing in FBI in right a way might slow things. They could help with a lot of the forensics. At least they are assisting with whatever. jmo

Depends on what would have been on their hands. Oils of any kind would be hard to remove without soap and water.

I'd count on at least one or more prints being traced back to oils of some kind. I hope.

I wonder if after Chris Sr. And Kenneth got divorced in 2007 they went off and got into some shady business ventures together and that's where this all started.
