No one knows how big or small the Rhoden pot business was. The only thing said was that one of the locations had about 200 plants. That does not mean other locations didn't have a lot more. Everyone seems to have taken that 200 plant statement and turned it into fact that that's ALL they had. There may have been a lot more to the Rhoden properties than we have seen.

True and is right on par with all the other evidence, we don't know Jack. Lol We actually know more about the pot than any other evidence.

How do you find it any but typical? LE hasn't shown us anything.

I can't determine what the Rhoden's grow op was, as I've not seen the photos, but, they said they had 200 plants. They mentioned they found one "tray" at KR's. Based on their properties, barns, number of people involved, and the AG's determination of "sophisticated" etc... (He didn't know the chickens were fighting 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬). I just see the Rhoden's op as being average; one they split as supplemental income. 200 indoor plants can be labor intensive. That's why I'm thinking they were going to transplant them into the woods on different properties sometime around the 1st/2nd week of May, to avoid frost chances, and be a bit easier to care for. Now, the stuff I've seen coming out of the Eury's op, looked quite impressive.

Are there pictures of them removing the bodies? Just curious...

I've never seen any pics of that either. I can understand why, b/c of discretion, but since when has the news ever used discretion? I've seen them show video of gurneys being rolled to the ambulance, people being shot, etc... They rarely decide to leave anything out to spare the families, or the viewers, anymore.

Which tells me they were probably ordered out at some point.

Media is only there to sell a story and how boring is a story with no photo's. It's a business where photographers will go to just about any length to get photo and they don't have anything interesting, for a lack of better words, seems odd. Reminds you of all these other big mass shootings, schools, theaters, nightclubs... never any footage. Higher ups must have something to do with it. Maybe because of conspiracy theorists and copycats who knows. To think of how much is already out there for young people to see... it's a strange time we live in.

They've repeatedly said "roughly 200" and "some 200" plants pretty much from the get go. I'm guessing somewhere between 150-300. IF they'd lived to see it to fruition, and were lucky, they'd each maybe get around $30-$40 grand, net, out of their cut. My point is, I don't think it was all about the pot. I just don't see them being capable of pulling off a much larger operation with the manpower, and facilities. Now, they might have been getting ready to expand into DR's basement in the near future. I'd not rule that out.

Any word on if this may or may not have been there first crop or how long they might have been growing?

Idk the largest murder case for the area and the largest grow opp. 20 minutes away. Surely does make the mind wander.

I don't see it. He wasn't competition. Also, they were quiet. They most likely didn't care WHAT the Rhodens were doing and didn't want the Rhodens knowing what THEY were doing. You have an operation like the Eury's had, you don't want to mix it with folks who are constantly in court, flaunting small-time laws like not putting on your seat belt/driving w/o tags, getting in fights w/everyone and their mother. With an op like the Eurys, if I were them, I'd certainly not want to do business with the Rhodens. I don't mean that in a harsh way, but, if you're into illegal activities on a grand scale, like the Eury's were, you don't want loose cannons running around to muck up your business. I just don't see it unless the Rhodens posed a possible threat to the Eury's freedom.
Yeah, they probably rather have them alive and well. They were a hell of a distraction.

And for it to be called "sophisticated", I've found it quite strange, that we've seen zero photos of a single plant, light, etc. . . Nothing. Extra strange when you look at the photos they snapped of the Eury's "sophisticated" grow op. I can understand keeping some things under wraps, but, I found it odd they didn't share a single grow op photo.
Yes but there isn't much left to prove on the Eury's charges. They have the culprit red handed. They also already have them in custody. Much different scenerio.

True, but, I still find it odd that there's not a single photo leaked out of the grow op. I find it odd that nothing is leaking out. My top theories are LE involvement, they were narcing on someone and got caught, or it's a blood feud. They've clamped this down tight. But, then again, I've loosely followed the Missy Bevers case and they've locked it down pretty tight too, unless something new has come up recently. They did at least show footage of the video that they had though.

I agree with your line of thinking

I've been loosely following that one too. I seen an episode about her story on geekendorx channel on YouTube. He mentions Websleuths on his show frequently that's how I got here. I've been sugesting he do a show on the Rhodens. You guys should pop in and ask him too. [emoji4]

His gf (wife), unsure, might possibly get off though. If it was all locked down tight behind a vault w/a door w/a combination to get in, she could claim no knowledge. That's what happened w/my neighbor's wife. There was a locked door, with a vault behind it, and she was forbidden to ever go in there. She also had no clue that he had another family too. O.o I had an acquaintance, in my much younger years, who got busted, same thing, only he had a vault hidden in the wall of his home. The wife was totally clueless.

Wasn't she charged with possession? Might not be so easy for her. I have to read again. But the do have a solid case on him.

I'll have to check that out. I was one of the Guest viewers here off and on, until this case, and I just can't get it off of my mind. So, I signed up.

I've not seen the exact charges listed but they arrested her. The filing, if it's the right one, lists the defendants as:

Stephen Dale Eury Aka Stephen;
Eury, Justice;
National Bank Of Adams County

Now, why they have the bank listed, I do not know.

Even though LE has been practically hiding everything from the public, including the pot, it still seems for them, the large grow-op would have been more believable if we had seen something.
Somebody posted awhile back there was a large grow-op bust in the area, and when the whole story came out, there was a total of 18 plants. That leads me to believe the three grow sites probably had around 20 each. Definitely too many to grow in the window, but not nearly enough to be considered large scale.
My parents have always lived in town and had a garden. Every other day Mother was bringing me at least 4 gallon zip lock bags full of snapped green beans, and more cucumbers than the three of us could eat. We gave away quite a bit, ate quite a bit, I canned 16 pints. Daddy said he could have given away a pickup load of cucumbers, and still would have too many to eat. And this all came from a medium size garden in the backyard. If it was a particularly good harvest, LE would think large grow-op just standing back looking at the largest, and trying to imagine having three grow-ops in one location, they automatically envisioned large...Plus, I think they tend to stretch the truth, so they can imagine a majority of the town giving them a pat on the back for a job well done!

I n one if the pics the day of the murders, a few LE are seen looking inside a small wooden shed by Chris's house. No way would that be ideal for a large, sophisticated grow-op. In my opinion, that shed looked quite old, and if pot plants are fragile as seedlings, that shed did not look sturdy enough to keep the cold wind or blowing dust from coming in. So that pretty much voids the idea of a large grow-op.
I know there were other buildings on the property, but that one seemed to be the one everybody was interested in. At least from what I remember from the pics I've seen.
