What does a animal kill and firearms have to do with solving the 8 murdered case?

It doesn't as far as I know. Just trying to be helpful as to whether he's in/or out. The RSP or Obstructing (based on the sheriff's statement about arresting folks who are withholding info) might possibly have, but I really don't think so after looking at everything.

I've found it shady from the start how much we haven't seen and heard. 8 people, 4 crime scenes, multiple "grow-ops" and no pictures leaked or no pictures of bodies being removed or plants/equipment being removed. 4 crime scenes completely moved into storage with no access for the families for over 6 months! :pullhair:

They show the equipment confiscated in this grow operation bust but not one item from the alleged Rhoden grow operation has ever been shown...

Come on, Dudly! Let's not be pessimistic! That can be contagious! I, too, am totally frustrated at all the run-around and BS we have been handed in this case.
Early on, we were told 79 pieces of evidence were recovered. Just as in the Heimer case, two months later, LE stated there was "tons of physical evidence". But to our knowledge, none of the evidence in either case has seemingly been linked to anybody. I'm beginning to think The Man in the Moon might as well have killed the Rhodens, and Lori, and went back home. I know that's far-fetched, but everything else appears to be, also.

The only thing that I find odd is that they stated that there was a sophisticated grow op going on there, with at least 200 plants, and we have never seen the first seed, nor plant, nor root ball, nor grow lamp, packed out of there; We've not even seen the first 8 x 10 color glossy picture of any one of the aforementioned. I just find it odd. It's probably nothing, but, it makes me wonder if it wasn't just a few plants in a couple of trays, in a shed, rather than a sophisticated grow operation. Then again, maybe I'm giving too much value to the use of the term sophisticated. What it means to me, it may not mean to someone else, w/reference to a grow op.

Maybe since the grow up with not the crime in itself they didn't take pictures of it to release to the media. The crime was murder, 8 murders. If they say the grow op was there, it was there.

I'm not saying there wasn't a grow op of some sort, but it seems it has changed over time, from the number of locations, plants, and scale. I also don't doubt that they took photos of it and catalog everything that had to do with it. However, w/helicopters going over the homes, there wasn't any photos of anything being brought out, and that's not usually the case with any kind of crime scene. If the press can get a photo of a deadly car accident, to splash on the screen, they'll splash it on there, without thought that that's how some poor families find out their loved one has died. I don't think the press would have shied away from taking photos from their copters. I wonder if this was kept so quiet that no bodies, or evidence, was brought out, until the press was shoo'd away. They've kept a tight lid on this from the get go, and it's deeper than drugs and a stolen cars.

I don't remember the source but I did see stretchers being brought out; not all but at least a couple. It was video shot from a helicopter.

MOO

I remember reading early on that the porches had been covered with tarps when bodies were removed. I am also 99.99% certain they were in body bags. I agree, everything about this case, especially the way it has been handled has been bizarre. Nobody knows anything to be true, except eight people lost their lives that day.

Yeah it is interesting that nothing was shown about the bodies, that I saw anyway, and I do wonder out of curiosity where the grow was. This whole case has been kept so quiet.

When you think back over everything, it is almost bizarre how things were done in this case. There was almost not enough evidence shown to prove there was a crime committed...

Thank you for the information RSD. Since there have been no new press releases I think keeping up with the criminal activities of those people who have been questioned by LE is very helpful. It gives us some insight into what they are doing that is illegal. And since they have been questioned because they had some interaction with the victims if gives us an idea of what kind of people the victims were associating with or had some trouble with.

Oh, no problem. Keeps my mind active. One name on there that I've been a bit interested in, was one of the ones to have broken into HHG's (I believe) aunt's home.

I know the wait is frustrating. Think of processing 8 separate murders in a small town, the time, the volumes of information to bring about successful prosecution of a mass killer.
Once you make arrests, you have got to have everything ready, legally. All those ducks gotta be lined up. To me, that's a big order.
Suspect(s) may demand a speedy trial, no room for error. And let's not forget the media hounding LE.
It wasn't a cartel, killers knew the family, knew the dogs and who was where. I was told when arrests do happen it was going to surprise everyone who it was.
Reader is not going to let anything out to endanger the case. It may be a good while, but arrests will happen.

Oh, I can't imagine processing all of those crime scenes. I'd much rather them do it this way, and keep us in the dark, and get it all right, than for me to have my curiosity sated. I just can't get the victims, nor the families, off of my mind.

I agree.

Please tell us more about it if you can. You are local?

And, also could someone tell me how to highlight quotes with bold?

Yep sadly I am local. I can tell you the day Pike County got Reader, I think he was a blessing from above for what was coming. Nice man, and so very devoted to his job. He won the Sheriff election with, thinking 70 % of the vote. Most like him. All I can say at this point (and I don't know much, they keep their knowledge with the higher ups....), but I can tell you this case is very much active, not cold at all. Between LE, BCI, and the Attorney General working together, there will be arrest(s). I don't think real soon, but we won't know until after it happens. Whoever did this, they are flat out dangerous and probably getting paranoid my guess.
I can tell you, I feel uneasy going out, and after dark no way.

Not knowing what precipitated these murders, I can imagine the concern of people thinking they could see something, hear something, etc. that would cause this to happen to them...

Be safe. Enjoy the upcoming holiday season. Merry Christmas to everyone (if you celebrate). JK
