The only proof is that DS said he found a "tray" of them while strolling about the property, after finding his best friend, and cousin, deceased, which then triggered him to call 911. When I think "tray", I think of a tomato plant tray or a flower tray with seedlings in their own little containers, within a "tray".
Yeah, that's what I think too. I think it was rumored to be 100 or 200 plants in the tray? Cannot
remember.
CBS This Morning reported the street value of the marijuana found is nearly $500,000.

That is a good chunk of change right there! If someone was angry about the Rhodens growing marijuana I think they would have destroyed the grows too. . . and the tray that was at Kenneth's home.
I don't know who hangs around to count money at a murdered man, but DS is quoted as saying $1000 was strewn around Kenneth's feet. Maybe it was ten $100 dollar bills ? ? ?
Stone claimed that a CCTV system his cousin had recently installed inside the trailer had been removed by the killer and that the dogs, not bred to being friendly to strangers, didn’t raise a paw during the incident.

I had read there was a camera in a birdhouse at the other scene, but not at Kenneth's home. I think this guy (DS) lies. I feel he absolutely knew about the marijuana grows. If he was comfortable entering Kenneth's home to check on his status and hang around long enough to count money, he knew more than he is saying.
Maybe these folks were producing shatter.
"Shatter is just one form of dabs, the catch-all term for marijuana concentrates produced by extracting cannabinoids like THC and CBD, the plant's psychoactive chemicals, officials say. The term "shatter" comes from the fact that the leftover resin is cooled into a glassy sheet, similar to boiled caramel hardening into candy. That sheet can be shattered into pieces.
Officials investigating the Pike County slayings declined to comment, but Sgt. Greg Morgan with the Hamilton County Sherriff's Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit explained the process of making shatter is similar to the process for making meth, so officials who investigate them wear protective hazmat suits.
Footage from Channel 9 shot on the day of the killings shows people wearing hazmat suits at one of the scenes. "

Maybe narcotics were involved too. If anyone had a Rx for pain killers I think LE would look for the Rx bottles. Maybe HMR since she had a C-section was prescribed Vicodin. Any ladies out there who have had C-sections been prescribed pain killers afterwards? And goodness look at LM, he must be in chronic pain with his back and having a steel rod stuck up his spine! I have a friend who has a similar situation with her spine and the hardware in place is very painful. She doesn't take narcos for fun, she genuinely needs them. I think the killers would have liked to have taken out the Manleys too, but just didn't have enough people to kill them.
Maybe pictures were not released of the grows because they didn't want other people getting information on how the grow was set up? Maybe the plants were not destroyed?
Whatever this family was doing they did not deserved to be slaughtered. It is wrong and I hope they are caught and punished to the full extent of the law. And to that note: The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
