I think this is the reason the news media is fighting so hard to get those autopsy reports. They smell something. They are investing a lot of money in attorney fees on this so they have to know something we don't.

But why? Why all the secrecy? Added to no photos, LE Took the crime scenes and locked them up in a warehouse. I think we all went over this before, what was in those trailers that LE was determined the public not see?

Like I said, with what has been released to the public in this case, it would be hard to prove there was even a murder.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why so much secrecy in this case?

I know I am going to get slammed as being heartless again, but we have no proof there was even a murder committed. All we have is hearsay. LE says there was one. LM says there was one. KR says there was one. TR says so, Gr says so. DS says so, ect.

But no photos of bodies removed, no photos of MJ plants being removed, no autopsy reports other than some with little more than names at the top, no leaks from anyone, no EMT's describing the horror of it all, no statements from family of LE or EMT about what those who were on the scene went through. Nothing.

And yes I saw the photos of the caskets. But at the risk of sounding heartless again, there could have been rocks in there for all we know.

I feel like the secrecy of this entire thing is a major clue in itself.

This case is beginning to look a lot like Roswell. Where is Jessie Ventura?

I don't find anything unusual in the secrecy given the circumstances.

What do you think of the secrecy in the Missy Bevers case? At least in the Rhoden case, we have a thread open and the AG is keeping us busy with an info request.

The secrecy seems to imply coverup. Either LE involved some way or an undercover operation will be exposed. For all we know maybe the Rhodens WERE the undercover operation and got exposed to someone. The possibilities are endless. They better have one excellent reason or they will really look bad. I'd bet there has never been a case handled like this in the history of our country.

Well, if AG and Reader were covering something, they would certainly have made a mistake by attracting the attention of the Ws' attorney.

If I were covering something, I would keep a low profile. This is why I do not agree with your theory.

This is false. Check your facts. Read the inteviews with BJM, HG's mother, LM, DS, KR2 explaining she received a call....

I respect the fact that people have different opinion than mine. But I can't help to jump in when I read statements that are false and denying what the family of the victims went through.

I think that the Konvicted Felons are mostly an "inside" gang. Long-term, lifers, on the inside. There's a prison right there in Lucasville, where I'd say some of those folks arrested may be headed. If I were in their shoes, and was labeled a snitch, that would be where I'd fear going. I'd not be feeling too good about going anywhere if I was labeled a snitch. I think some of this may be rumor, started by others who fear getting caught, due to all of the arrests, and fear of folks snitching to get lower sentences, so they want to shut that down. In other words "witness intimidation".

I haven't caught up on reading all posts yet, so forgive me if this has already been seen:
http://abc6onyourside.com/news/local/doctor-dies-day-after-home-invasion-in-westerville

This was a pill mill doc who had agreed to provide information (aka "snitch"), and while awaiting sentencing is found shot to death in his bed. I don't think there are a lot of individual actors when it comes to certain kinds of crime.

Pure speculation on my part regarding M-13, Konvicted Family or any other specific organization. But I have been saying for some time that the Rhoden murders looked to me more "business" than personal, and at least one former gang member seems to thing that M-13 and places like Pike County go together: http://abc6onyourside.com/news/loca...ot-surprised-ms-13-could-be-headed-to-pike-co.

Or I could be fantasizing based on a recent trip to the Mob Museum in Vegas. However, J. Edgar Hoover denied the existence of organized crime (Mafia) in this country for quite some time. Meanwhile, not only did the crimes themselves go on, but people were killed for a couple of main reasons. One was snitching and the other was stealing from "friends." Preservation of turf and territory are very important when operating an organization outside of the protection of the law.

Sheriff Reader put out a safety warning that MS-13 is coming to Pike County to kill snitches this weekend so if that turns out to be true, then by next Monday we should be hearing about an uptick in overdose deaths, or more murders. If no such news comes out by next Monday, then it was BS.

The thought that MS-13 would advertise a move like that is ludicrous. First of all the members are heavily tattooed in Spanish and of Hispanic decent, Honduran, El Salvadorian and Mexican with a few Columbians thrown in for good measure. In a predominately white area like Pike County Ohio the MS-13 gang members with their mostly Spanish tattoos would stand out like a diamond in a gnat's rear. They would be so easily reconizable by LE and residents of the county they would be in jail before they got across the county line good.

I don't see that Sheriff Reader suggested that MS-13 were advertising their intent. He put out that they had some intelligence. That could have come from a lot of sources (jailhouse snitches, undercover ops, wire-taps). He also suggested that the intel was limited (and another Sheriff in one of the neighboring counties disputed Reader's conclusion and warning). The intel might have been wrong--or the announcement may have pre-empted plans (as here it is Monday and I'm not seeing any reports of anything big over the weekend).

They definitely seemed to be searching more at CR1's place but we may not have any pics of what they did other places. There was a comment about the public not needing to know about something in there. I think they ended up saying it was bed bugs but was it? It's about impossible to know fact from fiction in this case...

BBM

I don't really think that bed bug fumigation was the thing that the public didn't need to know. That's really nothing compared to what happened there, and them saying that there was a sophisticated grow op there. I did think on that bed bug thing b/c it was mentioned (hearsay, I'll call it) that a local motel had bed bugs. I looked up reviews on the area motels and there was a complaint about a motel in the area being roach infested, and having bedbugs. Many times those places have rooms that aren't too pricey and one can check in for a few hours, or hang out for as long as they have money, possibly with a friend(s), and have a roof over their head. When they do go back to visit/stay with, family, they take the bugs with them. I've wondered if the bugs came into the trailer in this way, through someone in the family who had a hard drug history, who backslid, visited friends at that motel, but slept at CR1's.

It's the secrecy and the fact that they seem to not be able to keep their own facts straight. Just look at a how many different things they've told us re; the grow op. That's something that should have been pretty clear cut and dried by at least day three if they know how to count the number of seedling plants in a tray, in grow containers, or planted in the ground on the property (ies), (which it was probably a tad bit early for April), and whether there were indoor grow lights,an indoor watering system, etc... It seems that they can't keep what few facts we get, straight, from interview to interview.

Respectfully I said no EMT's describing the horror of it all, no statements from family of LE or EMT about what those who were on the scene went through. Nothing.

I am pretty sure that BJM, HG's mom, LM, DS, and KR2 are not LE or EMT personnel. I am also pretty sure they are not family of LE and the EMT personnel that worked the crime scene.

Please go back and reread my post. Thank you.

What I am trying to do is point out that this crime is not being handled like any other murder investigation. There is some reason LE is keeping a tight lid on this. There is also a reason the media are spending big money to get the full autopsy reports. Don't you find it strange that there are not more photos from news media or like RSD1200 not even a cell phone video?

I am not denying what the family went through. My sincere sympathies are with them and especially LM who I think is in for even more shock and heartbreak. But there has to be a reason for the secrecy.

For some reason this struck a chord in me. Maybe not the R's per se, but GR. If GR was sent in to infiltrate a trafficking ring by LE. Maybe for a reduced sentence of his own?

Just speculating here.

O/T: Missy Beavers' case creeps me out. I really want justice for her. It is not right that her daughters will have to grow up w/o a mother and always looking over their shoulder thinking the monster could be coming for them too. In her case, I think Facebook is evil... downright scary. I live too close to her case and I was scaring myself to death almost and had to take a step back. I kept locking my husband out of the house because I would go through and check the locks on the doors 2 or 3 times a day. That video of a wanna be cop or former cop or whomever going through the church haunts me. The secrecy in that case is what is holding back Missy's case from being solved. I believe LE knows who did it, but cannot prove it. I am getting the same vibe in this case too.

I too think it is odd that no pictures were taken of the bodies being removed or that the photos were not released. LE should have released the kind of firearms used early on and then when they are asking for people who had dealing with the Ws regarding guns, vehicles, etc., the public might have been much more forthcoming. And it might not even be the W's responsible, then again maybe it is, but there could also be someone right under LE's nose in Pike County. It is just weird they have not solved these murders yet. . .

IMO, the secrecy shows that the very professional Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is in charge and not local officers.

News reporters, gawkers, and family were forced to park a long distance from the crime scene. This is why there weren't photos of the victims coming out on stretchers. Helicopter news reporters refused to show the bodies on morgue stretchers to spare the family more pain. I've also seen helicopter reporters do this with other cases. The last case I saw where they helicopter reporter turned off his camera was when Toni Anderson's body was pulled out of her car found in the Missouri River. The helicopter showed everything live until it was time to remove her remains and carry her up a very steep hill.

Take notice in the similarities of Missy's case and this one. The reason there hasn't been a snitch or leak is likely because the killers are family. Family members are less likely to snitch on each other.

I do agree that somehow, someway someone(s) in the family had a hand in this...providing info or something, maybe not realizing what was going to happen.
They probably fear being charged as an accomplice, which isn't going to be pleasant. AND they might not want to admit it because it will finish tearing the family apart.
The W clan is not off my radar either. That custody seemed to be an obsession.

I won't say someone didn't take a hit out on the Rhodens/HHG, b/c they sure wanted them gone. With this man, though, they waited til his kid and wife were out of the house, they were all armed, and seemed to be expecting trouble, the way that I read it, but, you gotta sleep sometime. If it was a hit on this pill-mill doc, I think they'd been watching him, to get him alone.

Then again, and I've posted it before, the BS case, from Butler, OH. The case where a seemingly credible informant came forward, and gave info on a hit man, but as of last I've read, there's been no break in the case. I do not understand this. This is a guy who is said to have killed a pregnant woman, her toddler was hit as well but lived, thankfully, and BS was, from what the informant said, killed b/c her "old man" owed someone money.

There just seems like a lot of hatred in the Rhoden/HHG murders. Very personal. The BS hit was not up close and personal. It sounds like they just followed her, pulled alongside, and sprayed her vehicle (or maybe just open fire after she pulled over). May not have even known, or maybe didn't care, that there was a toddler in the back seat.

This theory, and it exposing someone who no one knew would be exposed, has run through my mind since day one. Someone they may have even known on a personal/acquaintance/even friendly, level. The way that LE uses folks to get intel, and set folks up, can put them in danger when / if it comes out who did it to you. Especially if it someone who is coming in and buying off of you regular, cozies up to the target, and then pulls the rug out from under them, for the same thing that they are doing, but getting a deal, and sometimes even a little cash, and gets to continue using many times. The hatred runs deep for these people. They will rat out their "friends" and their own granny, to get out of time, to turn on others doing exactly what they were doing, yet those they set up, will serve time. If it is someone who feels they'll lose everything, or won't do well in the pen, this a scenario I could see as very possible. It would explain the hatred too.

I am hoping that is the case. There were people who did get inside the perimeter though, before the roads were all blocked off, and made calls out. People who lived on that road had to come and go too.

One thing that I have been thinking about, is that we don't know for sure, if the alphabet boys are still in the investigation or not. They do not usually come into town all standing out and noticeable. If they call you for an interview it would not make the papers or news. You'd likely go to the police station, and talk there, and it could be at any given time. They can also do a while lot via internet that they could not do several years ago. In other words, they could come into town, and back out, w/o anyone really noticing who they are, and help when asked and we'd never know (b/c secrecy)..
