OH - Pike County: 8 people from one family dead as police hunt for killer(s) #32

There were a couple incidents early on that were mentioned as
deaths possibly/allegedly caused by R's. There was a young man
killed in an accident that locals claimed was caused by the vehicle
malfunctioning. He had just bought the vehicle and locals thought
the malfunction was done on purpose not just neglect.

Then there was the drug OD of the young woman who had just
gotten out of drug rehab and relasped and died. Rumors linked
drugs possibly provided by R's, the person who sold her the drugs
was also alleged and he worked selling/delivering drugs for R's.
Her family has money and criminal connections and rumors say
not a family to mess with. This has always been a possible
motive in my mind. Interesting family connections.

At the head of each thread it does state;

Try to keep your speculation broad as LE has named no suspect(s).

I try to do this using what-ifs, no names, and examples. Such as; What if there was an accident, in a vehicle, that "X" sold to "Y", and the family of "X " became convinced that the accident was deliberate. I always use lots of "ifs" , "what ifs", and "maybes" .

I don't know if your post was against TOS or not. It's still here... Just a thought though.

I wonder what his relationship is with the W family? Did he know them or do business with them?

Well, I’m guessing by the 5 ft x 8 ft blanket that’s their self portrait together still hanging front and center on their living room wall as of this morning in photos, they’re happily married this week LOL. Usually when they’re not, there’s no sight of that wall decor. Of course, I’m only speculating from my own observations

Well, I’m guessing by the 5 ft x 8 ft blanket that’s their self portrait together still hanging front and center on their living room wall as of this morning in photos, they’re happily married this week LOL. Usually when they’re not, there’s no sight of that wall decor. Of course, I’m only speculating from my own observations

I’m curious about that relationship as well, if there is or was one, between him and the W’s. I wonder in particular about his time spent with rental properties and leasing them out and who he’s currently doing that for. I suspect it’s for FW. That’s only my suspicions though and not fact.

No, though it seemed like I drove about that far. A while back we took a trip where we drove on the Colonial Parkway in VA, if you've ever read the Cold Case thread about the murders there. It's a beautiful area, but secluded.

That's a very good theory. They seem to have a lot in the area and some interesting activities take place on them.

Very clannish. Go to church Walmart. One or two of them are working very good oilfield jobs. But they stick with the group at their church and the pastor sometimes acts as their spokesman. He says they just want to be left alone.

I’m just waiting patiently for my eyes to come across the next one he shares that’s available and I’m gonna see about renting me a house and get some details about the exact address and such. I’d just like to know the location because if it’s not an area I’m interested in, I won’t bother to ask to see the place. If ya know had I mean. Every one I’ve seen so far, seems to go pretty quick and I haven’t caught it in time to inquire.

Isn’t it Baptist? Or is it a more strict sect of the Baptist faith? That’s one aspect I haven’t really paid much attention to or done much research on about the W’s.

I did read a little about it because I wasn't familiar with it at all. My understanding is it is Independent Baptist and I think it is sometimes called Bible Baptist.

From what I read, each pastor runs his own church and there is no outside governing body. There is information on the Internet about this religion.
