Apparently they raided the farm yesterday also. Also in N Webster at the home of AW's first cousin.
Scioto is on FB. should I private message it to you?

Sure, if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!

Has this article from a Greenville Sun already been posted? I couldn't find it.If it has I apologize.

Hey everyone I have a question is the Auto-Sales Business mentioned in the following GreenvilleSun article the same auto business ran by James Ferguson. Gosh we discussed (in really l-o-n-g discussions ) his being partners with several other people way back in the beginning threads? I will attempt to find the approximate thread number. If anyone one else remembers the thread could you post?

Interesting mentions "The ATF’s 26 Crime Gun Intelligence Centers nationwide “identify armed violent offenders for investigation and prosecution using crime gun evidence, such as shell casings, in real time"

I wonder if the recent searches at the Flying W were following leads confiscated from at the recent ATF's raid in Greenville August 1.

ATF Mum On Reason For Business Visit

Article from about a little over two weeks ago on Aug 1, 2018

Agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives paid a visit Tuesday (Aust 1,2018)morning to 11-E Auto Sales in Greeneville.
<snip>
Nashville-based ATF spokesman Michael Knight said Tuesday the effort is connected to the ATF’s Crime Gun Intelligence program.
<snip>

Knight did not specify the exact purpose of the operation Tuesday in Greeneville, or who the ATF is investigating. Efforts to reach someone at 11-E Auto Sales Wednesday morning were unsuccessful.

The ATF’s 26 Crime Gun Intelligence Centers nationwide “identify armed violent offenders for investigation and prosecution using crime gun evidence, such as shell casings, in real time,” according to the agency website.

ATF agents in Greeneville Tuesday were from the Knoxville field office, Knight said.

He said that ATF Crime Gun Intelligence Centers “disrupt the shooting cycle by using forensic science and data analysis to identify, investigate and prosecute shooters and their sources of crime guns.”

The 26 ATF CGICs, “working closely with their local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, provide investigative leads nationwide and support numerous crime gun intelligence initiatives in small- to medium-sized cities,”

I hope I got the right Betty P.

Well, if you see anything interesting there, let us know. All the local papers down there (Pike, Scioto, Chilli, etc) have done impressive work since these terrible murders.

I wonder if one branch of the law put this into motion w/o the other branch knowing, til it was over. Like, maybe Reader had no clue til the public started reacting to seeing vehicles and movement around the properties yesterday. Now they're trying to save face. One of my early theories was that a sketchy LEO was in on this, b/c something had happened, to make them fear that they may be at risk of ending up inside of a 6x9 cell.

Politically it would be very stupid for the Sherrif to do anything behind the back of DeWine. Reader is smarter than that.

I’m here. Pain got the best of me and I’m laying low. Not much sleep and energy. As much as I hate the current opiod mess there are patients who have the right to the best quality of life possible. I am here to tell you it’s not happening. Everyone of us knows someone in pain. We’d just like a good relationship with our pain treating doctors. As if January I am now being treated by the DEA. not a good thing. Let our doctors prescribe our medications. Everyone deserves to live with the best tratmentvheslth care has to offer

I think arrests might very well happen prior to election. There’s been an effort to discuss the number of unsolved cases in Southern Ohio. Surprised the lack of photos in this last search.
Interesting but lines up with everything I’ve been told.

Dewine is going to need some 'footage" for his ads so maybe we'll finally get to see all of the photos that we need.
He's going to do what helps him get votes. Money not a real object. Maybe I shouldn't feel like that, but I do.

Very plausible theory, IMO. The feds could be running their own parallel investigation.

I wish there were photos or video so we could see whose equipment was being used out there. Last time, it was that odd combination of PCSO, BCI, Franklin County and Bureau of Prisons equipment.

It's a reputable local connection to news.

Yes, of course. I was able to get to their front FB page, but it said I needed to join the private group. I'd prefer not to. I don't have an alternate FB account. There are so many stories these days of doxxing, etc. on SM. You never know when some disgruntled reader is going to hassle you.

Anyway, local news media have done a great job following this story. A thankless task.

Can you remind me again why this business and person seemed relevant to the case? Just curious.

Anyone else having trouble finding news articles about the recent SM rumor mill about arrests in the Rhoden case?

Here's a link to a search for Rhoden at WCPO web site that pulls up three articles about the story, but when you click on the link, there's no article

Search

Here's some video on You Tube

In the video, the reporter says Franklin County Sheriff's Office said they assisted PCSO on Thursday, but wouldn't say where or what. PCSO denies it. The same thing happened last year when they raided the W farms and Franklin Co assisted.

Here's a different link to the WCPO article that's working. Good reporting, Hillary Lake.

BCI: Posts about arrests in Pike County massacre are just 'bad Facebook rumors'

Social media explodes, but no information in Rhoden murder case - Portsmouth Daily Times

Pike County murders: No arrests today despite ‘very active’ investigation

The spokesman, Dan Tierney, would not discuss whether the Bureau of Criminal Investigation recently executed search warrants in Pike and Scioto counties in the unsolved 2016 case.

“We haven’t been commenting on individual investigative activities over the course of this investigation,” Tierney said. “I will say, however, that the Rhoden murder investigation remains very active and ongoing.”

At the time, DeWine’s office said the family was believed to be in Alaska. But when asked Friday, Tierney declined to comment on whether the family still lived there.

“That’s not something I’m going to comment on,” Tierney said when asked if the family had returned to Ohio.

If these were PCSO/BCI searches, it sounds like no feds were involved. They didn't involve feds in the May 2017 raids, either.

Per my earlier comment, if PCSO/BCI wanted to arrest the W family, they could do so easily, even in Alaska. Waiting until they come back to Ohio to arrest them, if that were to happen, would be kind of unusual unless they did something here in Ohio to necessitate an arrest.

Reading the case summary in the Dayton Daily News article linked above, LE has handled this case very oddly in the last two years.

If so, it's tricky. There are some highly skilled and experienced experts out on the campaign trail, IYKWIM.
Yes I agree. I spent almost30 yes on that very exact path.

James Ferguson & the "W's" at Big Bear Lake , had some business acquaintance with CRsr because of Scioto River Trading Company LLC.

I believe according to a reference I have to the LLC in my notes a good place to start reading might be at approx post 285 thread #31. Perhaps others have a better recollection of the many lengthy discussions on the LLC.
