I think LE took all the trailers away because they would be nothing but frames by the end of the year. The family would have removed everything of value and sentimental value. People around town would have just entered them out of curiosity... picking and poking around, taking souvenirs, tearing walls down to look for hidden valuables, taking photos or "show and tell" and doing all the things that... / ...people from outside of the area would be doing. That is, filming for their Youtube channels... conducting seances, making EVP recordings for victim's voices and arriving with all the rest of their ghost hunting equipment. Making bets who can stay overnight until dawn without leaving, etc. People are nosy and many lack respect for others, alive or deceased. There are Youtube videos showing people entering "abandoned" homes, businesses, etc. filming everything down to the contents of refrigerators and toilets. People might turn one or two into "hang-outs" for sexual encounters and drugs... you name it; some people can be so "lovely." If LE had left those trailers behind, I think it would have been like vultures descending and destroying or stealing every last thing on all 4 premises. Without posting guards around the clock on all 4 places, which is not practical, I can't see any other way to ensure the crime scenes remain intact... and, if not intact, at least not destroyed completely... horrible words spray painted all over the places (for family to perhaps eventually see.) I really think that LE would preserve many crime scenes if they could but they can't. In this case, imo, they could so they did.
