Personally I think the w’s were trying to bully HR into giving up custody. I believe HR , CR, DR refused to fall for their bs and that enraged the w’s. A lot has been speculated that it had to be more than just custody of sw. But I think it was more about interaction and half truths by jw to his family that mostly lead it to raise to the level of murder. More than likely JW played the victim card to a t! She won’t let me see cw when I want, she is using sw as leverage. She is sleeping around, and I am doing everything I can. According to friends the WAGGIES left property in storage in Nikiski as they intended to sell totally out of Ohio and. Move up. The young guys didn’t care for the intensity of work on fishing boats though. It’s the hardest work I’ve ever done.

Mine too. Too much drama with RAW running into the barn and knocking down doors with his bare fists. Burning embers. The barn exploding with him diving out in the nick of time. Straight out of a movie.

I keep coming back to why the entire family had to die vs just HR. I wonder if HR knew that barn fire was arson to collect insurance money on those million dollar horses. Maybe JW told her or when things were good between her and the family and looked to last a lifetime they talked about it in front of her. They would have been certain she told her parents and that CR1 told KR as they were very close. Maybe the R's told them if they didn't back off on the custody they would go to the authorities about that high dollar insurance payout. If it was proved arson, not only would FW be charged but whoever set the fire and in addition FW would have had to pay back every cent the insurance companies gave her.

Which actually makes perfect sense to me. IMO, saves any defence attorneys from attempting to infer any "reasonable doubt" about their guilt in committing the deed or during any possible DP phase. No arguing that this was an elaborate "frame up of the Wagner family in an attempt to garner votes towards re-election".

Name on the birth certificate is irrelevant. I've seen nothing that suggests the couple was ever married. If there is no marriage, the statute dictates single mothers have full custody until a court decides otherwise.
