BINGO!! Khaki pants made it to court. I wonder if any "special private messages" were being sent, again? Am starting at AW's and she looks like someone who is forcing herself to cry....but I don't think tears come easily or naturally for this woman. Come to think of it....NONE OF THEM EVER HAVE ANY TEARS OF REGRET....so odd, IMO!
The camera man must be listening to you guys....better camera angles and coverage of the room.
Who's in the khaki pants?

Do we know when it was discovered who the father of KMR is? I'm trying to place the father-reveal in the context of the murders. Did the Wags believe the child was JW's at the time or did they already know she was not his? I'm thinking the escalating drama over SW + the new baby may have driven the Wags to fever pitch. And it appears to me that they waited for the baby to be born before acting. I bet the birth plus HMR being home from the hospital set the timeline, whether they knew it was a Wag or not.

And hello everyone! I'm fairly new to WS and did not properly introduce myself in this thread. Thanks for all the great links and insights.

IIRC from the last posts in HR social media she confirmed JW was NOT the father.

I recall there being some reference to a DNA test but don’t recall the results. However had JW believed himself to be the father it would make sense he would have gone after custody as well. Who knows for certain. I do think AW was the driving force behind S though. In fact I feel very certain that Angela was the brains and chief planner if the entire murders.

I don’t know what assignment she had in the military, but thus far the planning and subsequent coverup strongly indicates a military background, organizational skills and discipline. Add control, jealousy and vindictiveness it’s very easy to come to that conclusion. It is probable that FW plotted as well. It is to be seen if her charges may be modified. I just can’t make it fit for her not to have known and been at the table for planning this horrific crime. AW and FW would be a formidable team and may have even fed off each other making the two of them stronger than each alone.

Many murders committed by partners reflect that fact.

I suspect that FW was not charged yet in part due to her age and perhaps that LE lacks enough evidence to insure conviction. At age 76 she is beyond a female life expectancy. Considering the money it’s going to take to prosecute these cases the decision was made not to charge her in the murders. It is likely she will not live long enough to see the inside of a prison.

It’s rather a “let God sort it out”.

As always even if I forget to include it “. IF I POST AT WS ITS OPINION AND MY OPINION ONLY.” Thanks.

Rain and very cold here in Vegas. I’m hoping no snow. And yes it does snow here.

Is RW FW's daughter? Also who is the man in the orange jacket?

Judge reading Aggravated Burglary charges now.

Note some of the Aggravated Burglary charges include the names of multiple victims. Assume that's because burglary charges are based on the address where the accused trespassed, etc. for the purpose of committing a crime, with listing of the victims who lived at that address.

Really want to thump that attorneys head. Wonder if they moved camera front he would drape his big ole body over her.

surprised there's no security behind the defense table ... would be easy for someone to jump over the railing and attack the defendant

Police officers are standing around the perimeter of the room, close enough to jump on anyone. I read in the news media that everyone attending has to leave bags, purses, etc. outside before entering. The most damage anyone can do is to throw a punch.

I know but someone could get a couple punches in before the cops got to them

edit - they have to leave purses outside too? wow

Well, we can always hope, if it's coming from the victim's family section.

JK.

Rhoden/Manley/Gilley family and friends aren't going to do that. They probably just want justice.

Yes, I tuned in late and all I saw was him. Nice block, dude! But I did see her walk out.

you didn't miss much - she kept her head down & had the same sad look on her face the whole time

What I did see of her Face I'd say she was pretty worried. Her face looked kind of tense, nose red. She's scared.
Good. She ought to be.

I thought the camera person was excellent. When she was visible I could see her pulse in her neck and see her breathing change. A couple of times I thought she was going to crack. Amazed she didn't. I almost did and I'm totally innocent.

Still can't get my mind around this horrendous murder. How could 4-6 people be involved and not one of them at some point have clarity of mind and say, "wait a minute, what are we thinking? " How could a parent not say, son, work through this, you can't throw your life away? Just so troubling to me.
Love that Leonard.

BBM

Of course not.

Didn't you post an article about how to counsel people in Appalachia that stated that the region is a patriarchal society where women are often encouraged by family to stay with an abusive husband?

Or maybe I am recalling the article

JMO

This may be true of some families, but I do not see this in HMR's family. If anything, I see the Rs as standing behind HMR and her choices to leave JW, and then CG, and on to date CH. Per DR's comment on HMRs pic of a very pregnant HMR, and CH; "I'm happy that my baby girl is HAPPY :) " - DR April, 2016.
