I haven't been able to keep up with the Rhoden's at all. It has been even worse since the arrests. Today was the 1st court date I was able to watch. I didn't think arrests would ever come, but praise the Lord they did. And Facebook and now Twitter are both acting up for me today so can't follow along there either. My heart breaks for the families especially little S and the other child GWIV had custody of. And JW should of been in jail long ago since HMR was a minor.

I don't know, but I hope it's not his undergarments showing. It's Angela W's brother. Interesting that Robin W is also talking to AW's lawyers. She's staying on top of all of it, reporting back to Fredericka, I suppose.

S was the daughter she never had. I think that JW looks like AW. Has it been determined who S looks like? FW was up in age, possible that she too took a liking to S and AW saw that and wanted the will to come their way by way of S.

Count 22 for Angela Wagner applies from Jan 1, 2016 to November 12, 2018. That's well before the murders and right up to the day they were all arrested. It includes all the W's and Rita Newcomb, John Doe and any other unidentified or unknown individuals, the latter being a "catch-all" description that allows them to include other participants they may later discover.

The pattern of corrupt activity includes: Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Burglary, Unlawful Possession of a Dangerous Ordnance, Tampering with Evidence and Obstructing Justice, plus everything in Counts 1 thru 21. The indictment uses the qualifier and/or for these activities, meaning some could be guilty of one or all of these.

IANAL, but John Doe could be (1) a person they haven't yet identified, but know was involved in planning and executing these offenses or (2) a confidential source who participated in some of the planning, etc. and helped LE by recording or relating what was said in some of their "planning meetings".

The indictments mention John Doe because he will probably be part of the trials in some way, either via witness testimony, affadavit, etc. If he's a real person and known to LE, it could be someone who cut a deal with prosecutors and whose identity they want to protect for now.

I'm probably wrong on this, but its the best I can come up with.

Women staying with abusive spouses/bfs is not unique to Appalachia. I do not think that CR1 nor DR, told HMR to stick with JW out of some patriarchal societal dreams. HMR had moved back home, she'd moved on from JW, twice over. There was a sense of loss and sadness in some of her posts, but, there was no fear in them, not that I sensed, at least.

According to the article, the Wagners used "land contracts" to extract monthly payments from tenants trying to purchase their land, so they had significant monthly income. That's just from their real estate business.

Sad that they duped people in pretending to "sell" them the same parcels of property over and over again at grossly inflated values. They're "predatory" lenders, loan sharks. It's wealth extraction from working class people.
