And what I'm saying is that maybe they assumed he was at work and that being 8 miles away and not in danger. Maybe they didn't know he was involved with CRsr and business. Perhaps members of the actual Rhoden family were not aware much before he was discovered. We don't know when the first Rhoden found out. Maybe KR had some bad blood in the family considering it was DS who had finally went over there. We know Rhoden's lived nearby, we don't know if they were home when everything unfolded. It was a Friday morning.
Everything you say could be true. I just regret that we don't know if Kenneth was alive at that time and I find it all very strange.

Leonard Manley mentions that he, his son and his grandson went to the crime scene after Bobby called them IIRC.
I presume that with grandson he meant his son's son. Does Bobby even have a son?

Yes she does.

He was killed either first or last I think. DUNNO which. JMO I sort of think first.

By the time DS found KR and called 911 it was all over the news that numerous members of "the Rhoden family" had been killed, yet no one bothered to either check on him?

Or if they thought he was at work, no one tried to contact him to tell him his brother and other relatives were killed? and that they didn't find it strange he wasn't trying to contact any of them for details since it was on the news everywhere by then?

It simply doesn't add up.

What I'm saying is not a reflection on Bobby who I know is a Manley, thank you. If Kenneth was so involved in this business with Chris and his family as well as Gary, someone should have at least informed Kenneth of what was happening. IMO

MOO

Maybe the only people that knew about the business were already dead and/or the killers. If they were killed over business matters, pot may not be the only drug it involved.

I don't think they (LE) have anything. They are at a loss. jmo

I agree. Doesn't seem like they have much, but I sure am hoping we are wrong. The whole family must be so sad and scared. What a horrible tragedy!

As far as the cars, they will most likely spend time processing them in an environment where they can process adequately and release them to the family as they process them. It's easier to process them in their environment where they have a lift, etc. They have a lot of crime scenes to go through over there so I'm sure it is a painfully slow process!

Not all people are up paying attention to the news. We had an uber driver shooting people up in Kalamazoo and most of us had NO CLUE this was going on until he was arrested hours later while we were all out on the city he was driving around killing people in for absolutely no reason. There are many reasons why he may not have been checked on right away. It could have also been very easy to assume with him 8 miles away that he was fine. I doubt anyone was thinking remotely clear that morning.

He could have had bad blood that nobody thought to contact him, perhaps miscommunication and someone thought they had talked to him already, it's very easy in a chaotic situation to be confused.

This is so odd, it does not make sense. Especially with some living extremely close, why not check on him? Or ask the police to check on him?

My thoughts too. You said it well.

We do not know if Kenneth went to Columbus to work every day, but if he did, he would have to leave his camper early in the AM to get there or to a job site......supposedly he planned on an overnight guest and working on cars at 5:30 am.............so it sounds like he did not plan to go to work that day. But if the early am car work is not true, then whoever killed him had to catch him at home before he left for work. JMO

I agree. We don't know when the other Rhoden's were informed, and some of them lived nearby. Since it happened on a Friday I'm sure many of their relatives were at work and hadn't heard about who was murdered for hours after it happened. Especially since it was the Manley's that found the victims. Not the Rhoden's.

True, BJM may not have even thought of Kenneth as she was not related.

All I'm saying is ANY of these scenarios could be true. Is there a reason family didn't care about KR? Maybe? Is it possible it was an oversight for one reason or another? Maybe? We have nothing prove one way or the other.

I'm guessing he didn't have to work if what DS said was true. Weren't they supposed to work on cars together Friday?

Per the Daily Mail, yes.

I disagree, I think they are sending a message. I told my husband something would happen during the funeral. I was hoping for an arrest but at least this is something.
I so disagree with this..

Don't forget, there is a mass murderer loose in the town.

If they have so much and are keeping it quiet and letting the town live like that.. That is a problem.

If at his job it might not be unusual not to be able to reach him right away also.

Since no one went over to check on Kenneth we are relying on DS word, who failed to meet up with him Thurs. night. DS also neglected to meet him to work the next morning according to DS account. And finally around 1:30 pm DS checked Kenneth and discovered him dead. It's almost as if MOO anyone who could have checked on Kenneth may as well have counted him out as dead.
