sometimes, there is no way to avoid it. I learned to trust my gut. so often children, especially girls, are taught to be nice early on. they want to be nice or be brave when they feel that cold wave of nausea hit their stomach, but not me. I don't care, I will run. but sometimes you are blitzed :(

My own belief is that the female sex has a natural sense of modesty.

I'm still catching up on the thread, so excuse me if this has been disproved. I wonder if someone pulled over and asked her for directions or something. When she approached the vehicle, they threatened her with a gun or knife, and got her into their vehicle. I know from experience that this happens. I really hope she's alive! My guess is, if this is what happened, she has been taken far from the area.

The family is to be updated shortly. I'm glad the searchers went back out!

I would like peoples thoughts on this. She goes missing at 6:45. The sun didn't even set until after 9 PM. That is over 2 hours of broad daylight left. Where was she taken? Then what?

My feeling is that she is near where she was attacked-and not taken in a vehicle.

Does she take medication? Any health issues that would have made her stop?

This sounds so familiar and scary!! So brazen to take her in broad daylight. Praying for Sierah

If the bike was undamaged, that indicates that she was cut off by a vehicle that pulled in front of her and was subsequently chased and tackled out in the cornfield. She was restrained and dragged back to the vehicle after the scuffle.

There's going to be two perps involved in this.

LE also needs to talk to the owners of local bars in that area and ask about a couple of guys that were drinking pretty heavily and left the bar around 6:30 p.m.

These are going to be locals.
Or, someone pulled up and "kindly" asked for directions or something, until she got off her bike and close enough to be taken. For some reason I'm thinking of a Brooke Wilberger type situation, although the areas are quite different.

Certainly valid! I'm just throwing out another idea.

It's difficult to answer this question, you know and love Sierah. To be graphic in posts seems so wrong, but here's my opinion : (

Random crime of opportunity. Someone came upon her in a vehicle, she tried to avoid them by riding into the corn field. The abductor had a weapon, and forced her into the vehicle.

How do the farmers in the area irrigate their corn? If the ground is moist you would see obvious signs if she had been taken deeper into the corn. I do believe this was an abduction with a car with one person. If two people and had a truck or van, they would not simply toss the bike in three or four rows, they would throw the bike in the back and take the sunglasses, only takes a few seconds to grab that stuff. I think this is a lone person, working to control her, hence leaving behind glasses and just slightly tossing the bike from where they stood or rolling into the corn from where they stood. This is all just my opinion. I wonder if their are any tire tracks where a car pulled over near to where her bike was found. Silly as it sounds, I can tell when my mailman has come, i can tell the fresh tracks even in dry/dustlike dirt to the tracks made the day before...

I also feel like there's just one perp.

I looked at at the photo posted yesterday on Twitter. It did not look wet on the surface. The photo I am talking about did show a tire track, but I'm sure it's not the actual abduction site. Just a picture of the "the field" they found the bike and sunglasses in.

youre not the first who suggested someone asking for directions, and its always been a no no for me to get close to anyone's car!!! :(

Where does Sierah go to school? Apologies if this has already been asked/answered. I haven't read entire thread.

Wondering why WDIV report suggested that SJ could be in Michigan. Is it speculation because of the closeness to MI border? Does she attend college in Michigan? Does she have relatives or friends in Michigan?
