does anyone have any info on the pregnant women who came up missing from the airport in Swanton Ohio? there is not a lot of info on it at all. I came across one article one day coincidentally and have not been able to find it since. it is an old case. early 2000's or before.

*Execution Date postponed-NO executions scheduled until July 2026 (@ am CT) - OH - Sierah Joughin (20) (July 19, 2016, Fulton County) - *James Dean Worley (57/now 66) indicted on 2 counts of aggravated murder, abduction & felonious assault; also w/having weapons under a disability, aggravated robbery (dismissed), 4 counts of kidnapping, 1 count of possessing criminal tools, gross abuse of corpse & tampering with evidence. DP case. Fulton County
Accused of abduction 26 years before.
Jury trial on 3/27/18 Found Worley guilty on all charges & sentenced him to death. Appeal filed 6/1/18. Appeal rejected 7/1/21. Appealed again 9/30/21.

7/1/21 Update: Ohio Supreme court rejected his appeal. And Court determines Worley's execution is set for 5/20/25. Determined jury was not tainted, no venue change was needed, rejected claim of ineffective counsel. 9/30/21 Update: Ohio Supreme Court puts Worley execution on hold as of 9/30/21 while he appeals again.

But, according to court records, the execution was stayed due to pending motions filed by the defense. Due to pending motions, the case is under review & no new execution date is set.

He was a very, very, scary man who committed a horrific crime. This case was something from a nightmare and I’ll never forget it.

Shame he has the right to contest anything.
